Eri clapped her cheeks then let out a sigh

I am thinking about it way too much!

More importantly…Even though I told him that I wanted to see him tomorrow, yet...I didn’t gave him a specific time for it!! What do I do??? It would be rude if I let him wait for hours… Wait where are we even going to meet???

After air stepping around the mountain for a while Kai finally found the one he has been looking for.

W-what is that??...Wait Is that a tent !?! D-don’t tell me that she has been waiting there the whole time??

Kai let out a sigh as he slowly walk toward Eri’s tent.

Is she still inside?…

“E-Eri-san…Are you in there??” (Kai)

Kai asked as polite as he could but the answer never came, instead he could hear the sound of movements being made inside the tent.

It seems like someone is inside...Should I open it?…Just to make sure uhm, Just to make sure!

As Kai slowly open up the tent, he could see the the figure of Eri carelessly sleeping inside.

Phew...This was the right one...But, why is she sleeping here alone?? Wasn’t she supposed to be with the maid and that crazy siscon?

For a little girl to sleep out here alone is just…

Ah...I forgot that she is a master class...But...still.

Kai’s face became red as he stare at Eri’s doll like face.

C-cute….

But then Eri’s stomach began to growl which caused her face became grumpy.

That just ruined the whole scene...A-anyway! What do I do now?? It would be rude to wake her up…Those dark circle she must have been up all night because of me..

*Sigh*

I guess I can at least make her a meal before leaving?

Sometime later…

The smell of spices mixed together with various ingredients and meat got inside the tent, which slowly woke Eri up through her sense smell.

What is this smell? I-it smells good!

Eri immediately stood up as she could smell something that she haven’t been able to have in a while.

“Oh! You are up?” (Kai)

A familiar voice called out for Eri as she got out of the tent.

K-kai!?! What is he doing here?? Oh...That’s right...

“Good morning.” (Eri)

Kai said with a bright smile on his face.

Morning?? What time is it??

Eri looked at the sun as it slowly goes down behind the mountain…Then turned back to Kai with a surprised face.

“It’s already this late!?!?” (Eri)

“Uhm…” (Kai)

“Why didn’t wake me up!?!” (Eri)

“C-calm down Eri!” (Kai)

Eri suddenly became quiet as her stomach let out a loud growl…

“Here...Have some of this first.” (Kai)

Kai said it with a soft smile on his face as he handed a bowl of soup to Eri.

“I-is this fine?” (Eri)

Eri couldn’t help but to look at the bowl as her mouth became watery.

“Uhm, of course I made it for you after all.” (Kai)

“I see...Then *Gulph* Itadakimasu…” (Eri)

Eri slowly took the first spoon of soup in her mouth…

“D-d-delicious!!” (Eri)

“I am glad that you likes it” (Kai)

Kai responded it with a soft smile which eventually caused Eri to blush…

“U-uhm...Thanks you…” (Eri)

“You are welcome! By the way weren’t you supposed to be with the other two?” (Kai)

“Ahh, you mean Del and your uncle?” (Eri)

Kai got a chill down spine as the word uncle got mentioned.

“Please don’t call him my uncle…That guy really creeps me out..” (Kai)

“Ah..Sorry I didn’t mean to…” (Eri)

She responded in a sad tone.

“Sorry I bringed up something bad didn’t I?…” (Kai)

“No it’s fine, It’s just...Hard to accept the fact that Eliz-san has forgotten about me..” (Eri)

Eri said it with a bitter smile while looking down on the bowl of soup

which she just received from Kai.

Eri’s tears began to fall into the bowl as she was trying her best to eat the rest of it.

“S-sorry…*sobs* I didn’t meant to ruin the food that you made…” (Eri)

“No…It is fine..”(Kai)

I didn’t knew meeting mom was this big of a deal for her...That mother of mine...At least remember the face of who you saved, dummy...

Eri hid her face behind her cloth as she was trying her best to wipe off her tears…

The old man said it to the guard as he slowly closed the door.

The man who is suppose to be Kevin and his sister’s father is now sitting on his desk with a grumpy face.

“So? Did you failed to bring her back?” (Kevin’s father)

“Unfortunately yes...father.” (Kevin)

The man let out a sigh as he finish his words.

“Father! Please give me another chance this time I will surely bring Nee-sama home!” (Kevin)

“No. That won’t be necessary.” (Kevin’s father)

“After what I did to her and her mother, It’s only naturally that she won’t return to this place…” (Kevin’s father)

Afraid of his harsh words, afraid of his loud voice, everything about that man was dangerous to Kevin. Whenever he screwed up Eliz always came to his side to defend him.

She had everything that he doesn’t, she was bright and cheerful like the sun itself which always light him up and give him warm during his darkest time.

Eliz was almost like his other half...No, She was and still is for Kevin himself, his big sister was everything that he had after his mother passed away.

When Eliz left home 5 years ago Kevin couldn’t help but wanted to follow her footstep, this dream of his was soon torn apart by their father. After 5 years doing his best to lived up to his father’s expectation Kevin finally had a chance, the one and only chance for him to get back his sister …

As fear began to take over Him, Kevin suddenly charged toward his father with the steel knife in hand, but it was soon stopped by an invisible barrier.

“HAVE YOU GONE MAD!?!” (Kevin’s father)

His father shouted out with a surprised face, as he didn’t expect His own son to attack him.

“D-dIE DIE DIE DIE DIEEEEEE!!!” (Kevin)

Kevin became panicked after hearing his father's shout, without any control over his own body Kevin starting to stab the barrier multiple times like a mad man, as he shouted out the word die for each stab that he made.

“Is that your final answer?…”(Kevin’s father)

He said it then gave him a pitying look as he slowly removed the mana shield...

The sound of blood dripping on the floor can now be heard as the steel knife is currently buried deep inside the neck of Kevin’s father.

“H-huh!?! Fa..ther??” (Kevin)

Kevin said it with a shaky voice as he keep staring at his father’s face with wide open eyes.

“F *COUGH* foo-lish s...on of mine…” (Kevin’s father)

“Aha...ahaha...AHAHAHAHHAHAH! AGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!” (Kevin)

His laugh was soon turned into a loud cry as he realized that his father has been killed by his own two hands..
