A female voice called out for Kevin as he was still in his own little world with 0 clue about the weird body movements that he is making.

The female voice came from the front of the carriage, where the figure of 2 women can be spotted.

To be more specific, it came from a black haired woman in maid uniform, who appeared to be in her late 20’s.

“Ahhh~~ How can I ever restrain myself when it come to my beloved Nee-sama!?” (Kevin)

(Nee-sama is a slang for the word big sister in japanese.)

Kevin continued without paying any attention to his surrounding.

“Oi! Del Has he always been like this?” (???)

The question came from a young girl who is sitting right next to Del.

The girl seems to be in her late teens, she has long silky hair with one eye being shiny red and other being pale blue. From the look of it one can immediately tell that she is a mage, after all she does have a fancy mage coat on and as well an old looking mage hat on top of her head, not to mention the long staff that she is holding onto.

*Sigh*

Del let out a sigh as she took a look at her young master…

“Unfortunately yes…Sorry Eri, for making you accepting this selfish request of mine…” (Del)

“No it’s fine really! Beside I took this request in order to meet her as well...The greatest master wizard of all time Eliz Arnfield!” (Eri)

Eri puffed out her non existence chest and shouted out Eliz’s name, as if she was proud of it.

“I see…” (Del)

“Kukuku...Has you finally realized nee-sama’s greatness??” (Kevin)

Just like a zombie hungry for it’s prey, Kevin’s attention immediately went toward Eri as the name of his big sister was mentioned.

“Yes! I have always admired her!” (Eri)

Eri’s cheek was soon dyed red as she finished her line.

“Even though you are that strong yourself? Being able to reach master class at such a young age, I truly am impressed.” (Del)

“Hehe... Thanks you. But! I would never be at where I am right now if it wasn’t for her...Eliz-san saved me…She gave me hope...”(Eri)

“Hummm~” (Kevin)

Kevin replied with an raised eyebrow.

“But her skills are not the only thing that I love about her! S-she is also a very kind person…I, myself was saved by her, in a long time ago...” (Eri)

“Ohh!!! You too have received Nee-sama’s blessing?!” (Kevin)

“Yes...it’s a a bit of a long story, so if you don’t mind then…” (Eri)

“Go ahead, you have my permission!” (Kevin)

“I have no problem with it either...”(Del)

Eri cleaned her throat as she began to tell her story.

“As you have noticed, I am half demon and half human…” (Eri)

Eri said it as she pointed her index finger toward her left eye.

“No.. It really wasn’t as bad as it sounds...My parents were kind and caring, I-i truly am blessed to have them as my parents.” (Eri)

Eri replied with a bright smile on her face.

“I see, that is good then!” (Del)

“Yes! Anyway, soon after my 10th birthday our village was attacked by bandits… Since we were just a bunch of exiles, we received no protection or what so ever from the kingdom, even if we were to disappear from this world no one would have cared… In the end the adults were being able to somehow defend ours village against the bandits, but many children were kidnapped and as you have figured out... I was one of them… After weeks of waiting for rescue, many of us were sold off as slave...” (Eri)

Eri tightly grabbed onto her skirt as she looked down on the ground.

“....”

“One after another were sold to the slave merchant…In the end I was the only one who is left in the cage and was well prepared to meet my fate...But then Eliz-san came! In an instant she knock down all of the bad guys and got me out of the cage, I remember the first thing I did when I got out was to ask her “How can I become strong like you?”, “Through hard work!~” She said and poked me gently on my forehead…” (Eri)

Eri’s face suddenly became red as she starting to remember the event that happened years ago…

“B-but in the end, I never got to say thanks to her… I-i truly am ashamed of myself…” (Eri)

Eri began to look down again as she ended her story.

“I-i see...Uhum! Anyway! Now that I have confirmed your reasons, I will welcome you to my circle as number 2!” (Kevin)

Kevin said it as he crossed his arm and puffed out his chest while expecting a yes from Eri but…

“No, I am good...Thanks for the offer…” (Eri)

Eri replied immediately with an emotionless face.

“Ehhh??? Why?! Don’t you love her?!?” (Kevin)

“Of course I do! That is exactly why I don’t want to join you!” (Eri)

“W-what do you mean?…”(Kevin)

“.... Just take a look at this carriage!!”(Eri)

“I see nothing wrong with it?” (Kevin)

Eri let out a sigh as she gave herself a facepalm.

“How dense can you be!? Haven’t you realized the whole thing is covered with paintings of Eliz-san!?” (Eri)

“Of course I do! Otherwise, I wouldn't even take a single step in it!” (Kevin)

“Ugh...That is exactly the problem here!” (Eri)

Eri gave Kevin a disgusted look as she continued.

Del let out a sigh as she looked toward the blue sky as if it was Eliz’s face.

The fierce debate between the 2 great minds continued as the carriage slowly approached the Lionel’s territory...

Kai’s POV

“Yush! It’s time to head back!” (Kai)

Kai said that as he stored the body of a dead one eyed monkey inside his storage ring.

Umu, umu~ Another great day~ I can’t wait to be back and play with Airi-tan~

It has already been 2 weeks since Airi’s birth, She is a very quiet child just like me when I was younger, I guess? Or maybe even more than that... But anyway, for whatever reason, she seems to like me a lot...Maybe because that we looks like each other?? Or is it because of my handsomeness?

Umu...Now that I think about it I am actually pretty handsome aren’t I?? At least handsomer than the me in my previous life…

Kai was ready to leave the hunting ground at any moment, but then an unknown female voice suddenly came out of nowhere, together with the sound of a carriage approaching which forced him to make a different decision.

“No...That is just stalking!” (Eri)

Who was that?!

Knowing that this voice doesn’t belong to anyone that he knew, Kai hid himself behind a bush nearby and waited for them to come closer before making any decision.

“How dare you insult my love for Nee-sama!?” (Kevin)
