Robert ran to the other side of the mountain while provoking the beasts as the beasts followed him in fury. When Robert reached the end of the other side of the peak, he finally stopped running.

"Hell yeah! Now I get to hunt you beasts!", He shouted excitedly.

"Wait. Something isn't right.", Rober murmured as he noticed something. "Why does the number of beasts seem less than when they started chasing me?", Robert wondered.

"Oh no! Shit! Some of them have returned to the Hundred Beast King! Edward will be surrounded by them and won't be able to take down the Hundred Beast King Before it reaches grade 4! Our plan might fail! Damn it! To think that these beasts were smart enough do that!", Robert cursed in anger.

"I have no time to waste. I have to finish off these beasts and go join Edward as soon as possible.", Robert said to himself.

On the other side of the mountain peak, where the hundred beast king was in the process of breakthrough to grade four, Edward was sitting in meditation in front of the Hundred Beats King. He was also cultivating.

Seeing no reaction from the Hundred Beast King even after provoking it for a while, Edward decided to join the Hundred Beast King in cultivation. It seemed a bit crazy, but Edward had a plan.

At that moment, a large group of beasts came charging towards Edward. It was the group that returned from chasing Robert.

"Damn it! Has the hundred beast king reached Grade 4 already? I need to go and back Edward up.", He was getting impatient. He started pushing beyond his limits to slaughter the beasts surrounding him. He was worried that Edward was in trouble.

Edward, on the other hand, was excited. This was his first time fighting against a Grade 4 beast, equivalent to a Qi Accumulation realm cultivator.

"Come! Let me see how strong a Grade 4 beast is!", he provoked the Hundred Beast King.

"Qi, it really is a tremendous power. But you have just broken through to the Qi Accumulation Realm, and I am half-step into the Qi Accumulation realm, so with my technics, I can still take you down.", Edward murmured.

"The Great Eruption!"

All the strength in his body erupted, and his physical abilities took a huge leap.

He charged towards the Hundred Beast King and clashed with it. This time, both Edward and the Hundred Beast King were shot backward.

The Hundred Beast King crashed into a huge rock while Edward managed to balance himself and stop himself from crashing into the ground.

"Hell yeah! Come on! One more time!" , Edward shouted excitedly.

Edward got cut, pierced, bitten, and thrashed while the Hundred Beast King also took many blows from Edward's weapon. It could barely get up and fight, yet Edward, whose whole body was drenched in blood and full of holes, was laughing maniacally and enjoying the situation, coming back again and again, only to get blown away, but not before at least doing some damage to the Hundred Beast King. At some point, Edward's attacks started having faint traces of Qi. from the on, with every clash, the traces of Qi in Edward's attack kept increasing.

The Hundred Beast King felt like going crazy. How come there is a puny human, who is more beastly and insane than him, the Hundred Beast King?

"Hiiii Haaaa!! Haaaa!!! Ya hahaha hahaha!!! Come! Come! Come again! I want to taste more of your power.", Edward shouted as he laughed maniacally.

The Hundred Beast King was growling in rage. It suddenly opened his mouth wide, and a lot of Qi started to gather at its mouth. The gathered Qi turned hot, burning and heating up the air.

Edward noticed this, and his eyes became even more serious.

"To think that this beast already has an element for its Qi right after breaking through to the Qi Accumulation realm. This is the fire element. It must be because it has the bloodline of the Flaming Lion Beast.", Edward thought.

"Well then, come! Let's see if you can burn me with your attack or not!"

Provoked, the beast roared and breathed the flaming qi upon Edward.

At the very peak of the mountain, under the setting sun, stood a shocked Robert, staring at Edward.

The corpse of the Hundred Beast King was lying at Edward's feet, while Edward stood there like a statue. Edward's body was on fire yes he wasn't burning. There was a layer of Qi protecting his body. Edward seemed liked he didn't care about anything, as if there wasn't even a fight.

He stood there just like the deadly, insane fighter he was.
