Asd looked at his stat page with a contemplative look on his face. It's been two days since the incident and Hogrin had not come to look for him like promised. Instead he had sent a message and asked Asd to stay put and to lay low until today. That was not a good idea, keeping a Were cooped up this close to the full moon was a really bad idea and Asd has been feeling rather irritable. Not even the Discovery that he was actually a Triskele Mage seemed to soothe him as it meant he really was talented beyond his own understanding.
There was so much he wanted to do with his freedom, now he could do even more than that. He dismissed the screen and made his way out of the dorm room. He was unable to meet up with Rhea due to rumors going around. Apparently he had gone crazy during class and set a student on fire. No one seemed willing to mention that he had been or rather was being tortured in the process of an enlightenment and that the burn was just a reflex action in his part.
But the rumor was determined to paint him as the devil, as the uncivilized beast that was now taking a chance to lash out at it's betters after being let off it's leash. The whole situation was something he has learnt to deal with during his time as a slave. But right now he didn't or rather couldn't deal with it, so he was heading for a class that might help him blow off some steam, because whether he would like to admit or not, at the moment; he really wanted to hit something or better yet someone.

"I thought I told you to never return to my class again!" A scathing voice called out as Asd walked right back in to combat class.
"What can I say; I really missed your pale bloodsucking leech of a face Professor Chelsea." Asd replied as he took a seat in front of her, noticing and choosing to ignore the ten other students in class.
Chelsea raised an eyebrow at that, but for some reason she couldn't bring herself to be angry at him. Opposed to other people, she was not so steeped in the discrimination going about. She was a warrior and due to that she saw life in a different manner than others, and beyond that she understood what it meant to be discriminated against. She was a dhamphir; half vampire half human, and that was something her pure blood vampire noble family could not accept, and it was made even worse when she's the only heir to their title.
"Well take a seat then, you can stay behind after the class is over…..then we can have a more 'physical discussion'." Her words could be read in a varsity of ways but no one in their right mind would think a vampire had intentions of bedding a Were, they smelt horribly to each other. Plus Weres weren't the kind to sleep around, they had mates that they would be bonded to for life, so frolicking around, worst of all with a vampire was akin to swimming in toxic sewage.
"The majority of you here are all nobles so you all would have to learn sword craft and shield craft. But die to the fact that you're also mages, you would need training with daggers and small knives, movement and staffs. Now there is no weapons more powerful than the other, there's just the right weapon for you or weapons for those who find themselves multi talented when it comes to weapons.

Now the truth is the most balanced weapon to use is a sword. A spear has more reach and for those of you heading for the military that's a class you would have to take. But as far as blades or weapons go a sword is the weapon of balance and as such if is the king of them all. However depending on the sword you choose to use, your style of fighting could and would be entirely unique.
Those that are really strong like our Werelion friends here, are made for the Broad, Bastard, Great and Buster swords. Those swords are extremely large and heavy and would only see mastery in the hands of someone capable of using it. In his hands those swords would be like a long sword in yours. And if he does decides to use a longsword, especially one not made with special materials, his strength would ruin the blade, but his speed would make him unstoppable with it. So today you call go to the wall over there and pick a sword, and then step out to the back where a couple of training dummies are present. No one leaves until you've struck the dummy with 100 thrusts, 100 slash, and 100 slaps with the flat side of your blade….now move!
This was the second time he has been in this class, and unlike then first time it didn't seem as if Professor Chelsea wanted to make things difficult for him due to his race. Nonetheless he welcomed the physical activity as he picked up long sword, not at caring about the looks she or the rest of the students gave him. Weres were so strong that even their females used massive weapons like axes and the read buster swords.
But that was thousands of years ago when they still had their continent to themselves and we're just fighting for their survival. Asd was here to break down the stereotype about Weres, so he was going to meant magic and use a Longsword, it didn't matter what anyone else felt was right, this was right for him. He face the training doll that seemed to be made from metal and took a deep breath. The longsword in his hand was actually blunt but it didn't matter, it was more than enough. And so began and extremely long day of hacking, stabbing, slapping and slashing, over and over and over again.

Making of a Genius [A Progression LitRPG]
What does it take to climb to the top of the academic ladder? Lexus came face to face with his mediocrity the moment he arrived at Cambridge University to study computer science. There was a ceiling that he could not overcome, an intellectual world that was unreachable. But if you give a chicken an eagle's wings, it will fly higher than you could ever imagine. And that was exactly what happened to Lexus: with the help of a system, he could make it big. Schedule:1 chapter per week (every Friday evening at 5:30pm GMT). The weekly schedule is to allow time for research and factual accuracy where required. Author's Note: The story is about a computer science student at university, gradually improving and embarking on the path to become a world-renowned genius-level expert with the help of a system. There'll be a lot of studying and academics, but imagine being the best in your year. Easily. At that point, academics stops being stressful and starts being fun, doesn't it? The initial chapters are heavy on mathematical detail, but I don't expect anyone to actually read through them thoroughly. It's fine to skim them or even skip them, but I hope you try to get a sense of the progress being made, and feel happy for Lexus when something 'clicks' inside his brain :) As the story progresses, later chapters will go into less depth into individual questions, though I aim to remain consistent in terms of scientific accuracy/feasibility. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the story!

Necromancer
I'm writing day by day without plan nor any idea of where the story is going and I'll be making no effort of editing or proofreading until I'm done with the story if ever. Be warned. Blue sky, blue water, blue moon, green pasture, this is the world of Blue. Long ago, the known world was divided into six kingdoms each embodying its own element. War and violence were everywhere, and the people suffered until one day the death lord had enough. Breaking a long-standing alliance with the Life lord, they killed him and resurrected him as a pawn. Before long, all but the fire lord were puppets under their rule, but the people rejoiced as war was all but finished... … but it was not to be. The death lord grew old. By the time of their final victory, they were already at death door with the armies of the fallen lord still disputing their heritage. Desperate to take things under control before his final demise, a ritual was conceived, one to transform the dying lord into an undying lich. The ritual worked but not without an unforeseen consequence: only the living can control the dead. As one, his former minions rose to overthrow them and before long the powerful elemental lords ruled again as the wight kings. Now immortal, their rules and their war became more cruel than ever and the people despaired, all the blame falling on the one they had once claimed their savior. The wight king's war lasted for six hundred year, but eventually even them were consumed by its violence and peace came. Generations have passed, new kingdoms have raised out of the ashes of the old ones, however the fear of the dead and those who rules over them still haunt the heart of the people. In a world that fears and reject them, death mages must works behind the scene to appease the spirits and heal the scars of the world.
