The journey starts
The morning came and finally it was time for my departure. Albert and is family were giving me the last farewells. He came close to me and shook my hand.
“Farewell sir Caligo. I will be forever be in debt with you for saving the life of my daughter. If you wish, please visit us again and we’ll gladly offer you hospitality.”(Albert)
“It’s as Albert says. Please be careful on your way. And please take these moneys for the entrance pass.”(Eleanor)
Eleanor gave me two silver coins for the card, bowed slightly with her head and stepped back while I thanked her. With the pass a normal citizen had to pay only five copper coins to enter.
Next was Elaine. She on the other hand had a sad look on her face and was clearly displeased by my departure.
“Sir Caligo… will we meet again?”(Elaine)
“Yes, I’ll try to return here when I can”(me)
She nodded slightly and smiled a little at me.
Having said that I departed from the village. My destination was Deinir, the closest city to the village of Gleaming Wood and on the same way to the capital of Dilmor.
With the information given to me by Albert I learned that, one of the major organization of the 3 human countries, is the adventurer guild. By registering here I would be able to cross the borders and enter the cities free of charges, that was my first objective.
I turned invisible and started to fly in the direction of the city at moderate speed, after all I am in this world for fun and the scenery is very beautiful. For a native of our world, the sight of so much green is a rare view.
The city was distant a day of carriage but, since I was flying, I could see the wall of the city in 3 hours.

The walls were high roughly 25 meters and the city had a population of 15000 habitants.
I lowered myself to the ground returning visible and made my way toward the Deinir. I reached the gates 15 minutes later where two guards stood on each side of the entrance.
When I stepped closer one of the guards raised the end.
“Halt! Give me your identification pass and state your business!”(guard)
“I am here to register to the adventurer guild. I don’t have an identification pass can I make one?”(me)
“Yes, give me two silver coins and wait here.”(guard)
I handed him the money and waited here, after 10 minutes or so he returned with a rectangular card made of a material similar to ceramic.
“Here. With this you can enter in the city. The adventurer guild is the large building to the right. If you want a place to sleep there is a cheap inn right in front of the guild.”(guard)
“Thanks you.”(me)
In the streets quite a few of the people started observing me, the majority of which were females… strange.
I followed the instructions of the guard and easily found the building. I entered without hesitation and what greeted my sight was a large room full of table similar to a tavern. On the left there was a quest bulletin board full of sheets. At the end of the of the room, there was a lady in working clothes of roughly 22 years and a reception. I made my way towards her.
“Welcome. How may I help you?”(receptionist)
“I’m here to register to the guild”(me)
A fine looking man in full armor surrounded by beautiful girls that was seated close to the reception, snorted trying to mock me but I ignored him.
“Of course. Please sign these.”(receptionist)

She handed me a sheet for the personal details. Initially I couldn’t understand the letters, but soon the characters started to turn in my language and I started to complete the blank spaces with my name, age and race, I returned it to the receptionist.
“Please wait a moment.”(receptionist)
She disappeared behind a door and I stood here. The asshol- *cough *… the fine looking man raised from his seat and approached me with a confident smile and the girls following.
“-*Sigh * here comes the spoiled child.-”(me)
“Why is a weakling like you trying to register in the guild.”(asshole)
I turned to him and raised my brow. I scanned him and his mana was higher than that of the other adventurers, still less than the bear that I killed. Next I observed the girls. The first one was a cat girl, she had short white hairs with cat ears and a tail the height was about 5 feet and half, she carried a 2 rapiers on her waist and wore a leather armor. The other was a human girl with brown hairs and honey coloured eyes of 6 feet with a partial armor and a large sword on her back
The last one wore a robe with a hood that covered her face and was a little taller than the cat girl.
The mana of the first two girls was higher than the man, but the mana of the last one was even the double than the bear’s.
“DON’T IGNORE ME!!!”(???)
Ah right... the asshole. His face was red like a tomato and it looked like he was about to explode.
I should try to calm him down, I don’t want trouble so soon.
“Can I know what do you want asshole?”(me)
Ops… it wasn’t on purpose… maybe...
He pulled out his sword and charged at me with inhuman speed and slashed his sword toward my shoulders. I simply stood there and blocked the strike with my power in mid air.
Then I waved my hand at him as if shooing a cat. He watched me for a moment confused at his failed strike and then at my hand. He was suddenly thrown trough the building like a cannon ball and stroke the wall at full force, leaving a big hole and landing in the street.
I felt a gaze on me so I watched my surroundings and noticed that everyone was watching at me with their mouths agape. Shit…an excuse… an excuse…
The receptionist returned and looked confused at hole in the wall and then at me.
“Ooops… He tripped.”(me)
“AS IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE!!!”(Everyone)
