Lost or lucky?
When I regained consciousness I was in a black space that seemed devoid of anything.
I was fairly composed and calmly analysed the situation. I was in a dark place, without anything of utility, alone… Okay maybe I should panic. I spent several minutes thinking of how to exit from that situation but not finding of any idea my toughs wandered and I began to think of how warm and comfortable the bed of the hotel that my school rented would be.
While I was remembering such a thing I saw a feeble light, that in that dark place, was quite easy to find. What I found was an image projected like a mirror that represented my room in the hotel.
The more I concentrated on that place the more the image was clear.
I tried reaching for the bed and when I touched the image a small crack appeared on the mirror.
“It seems that I am able to pass trough”
I tried recalling the street where I died and soon I found the mirror that conduced to it. I experimented a bit and I figured out that I could go almost everywhere. I even tried opening a gate for the moon and it worked. What was astonishing was that the time in that place didn’t matter and as such I could go even back or forward in time. It didn’t matter even if I didn’t knew the exact location or even if what I was searching for existed.
Why should I not change my fate by preventing my death is what some would think. But that would mean saving another myself and crating a parallel world while the me right now would remain dead or erasing my current existence so the answer is no.
I continued to experiment for some time and after having grasped how to control that place I tried recreating something similar with my powers. After a while I reached the conclusion that this place is like a void space between the world and that if I wanted I could even travel to other dimension.

I partially succeeded managing to make a pocket dimension for my uses. I could open it everywhere and could store thing inside.
In my life I read a lot of light novels and manga so I tried imagining a world with things like dragons and magic, and after a moment a lot of the now familiar mirrors, let’s call them “gates” started to appear.
“Whoa! There are a lot…”
It would be more interesting going to such a world instead of spending the eternity here or by living like a ghost…and, who wouldn’t want to go in a fantasy world so…
Where to go? How can I choose?
I tried restricting the camp to worlds whit characteristics similar to Earth. I don’t want to go to a planet without intelligent races and 10G of gravity.
About half of the gates disappeared but those remaining where still a lot, of course it was better than nothing.
“I guess I must choose randomly”
I reached for the gate most close and after the cracks started to grow I finally managed to pass.
“New world I am coming!!!”
