《Nin the Seeker》4 - Versus the Five

Five rabbits came before Nin, and each flashed a part of their body.
“I have God’s tooth,” said a large, mean-looking rabbit, “and with it I have killed a thousand enemies.” And as he spoke, Nin could see the gleam of gold protruding from his mouth.
“I have God’s eyes,” said another with a piercing gaze, “none can escape me. I am the tracker of trackers, hunter of hunters, and will chase you to the cliffs at the end of the world, if need be.”
Nin stood his ground. Behind him, his countrymen gathered.
Seeing this, another rabbit presented itself. “I am God’s strength,” said the rabbit, “and each of my claws can tear apart stone and brick and steel—and I have many claws indeed.” And Nin observed that it was so.
“I have God’s wisdom,” said a fourth rabbit with a high-pitched cry, “I know all the ways in which rabbits can bleed or know pain. Many of my enemies have thrown themselves to their deaths, rather than feel my touch.”
Nin did not flinch at these words, but furrowed his eyes and frowned, disgusted by such threats. And behind him the burrow grew thick with his comrades, each reared tall, displayed their might; prepared for battle in the name of their prince.
At last, the leader of the five, Nin’s true enemy—a giant pale rabbit—came forwards, and proclaimed in a hushed voice: “I am God himself. There is a divine spark within me, and it has nourished me, and made me great, and better than all others. Tremble before me, for I am peerless.”
“What has God blessed upon you?” asked the rabbit with the piercing gaze. “Are you strong in tooth or claw like my brothers? Have you eyes like mine, or a mind like my sister’s?”

“I have none of these gifts,” replied Nin. “I am a poor rabbit, not fit to be a prince, or a leader. Perhaps God has neglected me, or I have displeased him in some way.”
Then Nin said: “but still, I will fight with what I have.”
“And what do you have?” asked the rabbit who claimed God’s strength.
“Friends,” said Nin, and—the signal given—his comrades in their thousands descended upon the five, and tore them asunder. They won through sheer force of number.
Later, it was often said in whispers and in legends and in the bedtime stories the old would tell the young, that the prince was God’s voice, and on that day in the burrow he had called upon all the rabbits in the world to fight, and do his bidding.

Zone has no owner, it has its rules It shows no mercy, to both wise and fools. It has no God, it gives no hope It gives to kind, last rites and rope. It’s a Hell on Earth where demons thrive But people kill, to get inside. People kill, to leave this place People die, for a chance to stay. For those, outside, they dream of horrors We live inside, horrific borders. We live, we thrive, just like those demons. Here, our lives, they have a meaning. Zone has no God, it has no Devil But it has us and its enough We are in Hell or maybe Heaven Gates are here, in front of us. The Zone has many rules and none of them would make much sense to you, living on the Outside. For example here, you would never hear, “I’m sorry for your loss”. Only silence would be the answer. The most empathetic action you would receive, is an open flask and a nod. People here don’t expect to live long and happy lives and even the most optimistic person at most, would hope to die inside of a blender. It's the most painless and quickest way to die in The Zone, and the cleanest. Your body would be torn apart in a second by countless gravitational pulls, all centered on you, leaving nothing but a red circle outside of its perimeter.
8 68The Children of thunder
Dec 1825 A group of archeologists discovered the well preserved body of a man somewhere deep within the vast rain forests of Colonial West Africa. To their shock, closer study affirmed that the man wasn’t dead but slumbered instead. A secret group of scientists financed by the British royal African trade company was gathered together to unravel this oddity that defiled everything they had ever known, poking and prodding him with tests regardless of the consequences as as a result, they are responsible for the production of marvelous advancements in technology and medicine that far precedes our current age. But concerns are being considered as illegal inhuman children are being birthed from his blood samples and cells that may yet endangers us all, because the locals believed the slumbering anomaly to be one of their principal deities and believes him to awaken eventually and with him the consequences of our actions. Report by lord Rawlings Hidden to the house of lords and the house of commons, palace of Westminster. London.

An orphan of a small village wakes up from a nightmare that prophesied their village would be raided by a Mortal army from an enemy kingdom. The child and his caretaker barely flees from the village and a few days later stumbles upon a "bandit camp" as the leader took pity in them and takes them inside their camp. Five years has passed as the orphan child and his caretaker went through hardships as apprentices of the leader, and as the orphan child about to rest another revelation comes into his mind that the camp will be raided by the same Mortal army that wreaked havoc onto his old previous home. However, five years of training was not enough to fend off against them and forced the orphan and his caretaker to leave the camp by the leader while they stayed and fought against the army until his last breath. From then on more revelations entered the mind of the orphan causing his body to weaken as if the revelations continuously consume his insides. How will he continue to live while the visions/revelations consume his vitality? And how will he be able to control these visions along the road?
