"Dad, can you open a portal to Terra?" I was now communicating with mom and dad through the comm. cube

"No, opening a portal to Terra takes a large amount of mana, also, a few amount of people can do it" He replied as he placed his arms under his chin

As I thought, Blue said I could do it if I was over level 200...if so then is opening a portal a normal thing for the inhabitants of Terra?

"Do you know anyone who could do it?" Mulling over it is a waste of time so I asked dad instead

"...I think I know one...he's the protector of Magus academy, wait, why are you asking me this?"

"Nothing..."

"Lyan, you better not lie to me, your father"

"*sigh* there's this girl... that I met and fell in love with, she's in Terra and is being forced into marriage" I confessed

"Oh God! mother Gaia! please show mercy to my son!" Mom helplessly massaged her forehead

"And? Are you planning to go to Terra to stop the wedding?" Dad crossed his arms and asked

"Yes" I nodded

"...fine" Dad said those words before he cut off the connection

Fine? No it's not fine, he's gonna do something, I can feel it.

I called for a Burning Legion meeting while Youko look after the sleeping Azure.

"What's wrong Lyan?" Mizu asked the question everyone wanted to ask

All of them were worried about me after seeing me getting angry for a reason unknown to them

"I'm going to Terra to save Blue" I cut straight to the point.

"Blue?" Clay, Rivera, Talia, Mizu, and Valeria had no idea who I was talking about

"My first lover" I could only give them this information

"So Arachne isn't his first?!" Mizu asked

"Regrettably, yes" Arachne answered Mizu's question

"What happened to her?" Mizu asked

"She's being forced to marry"

Everyone except Mira and Arachne gasped, they have understood a bit of the situation and nodded their heads.

"So when do we leave?" Mizu was pumped up

"Thanks guys, we leave right away but let me tell all of you guys something. We are going to an unknown land, we have no time to research or anything but all I know is that that world is filled with beastmen while human numbers there are small" I announced

"Don't worry Cap, we'll be with you to the bitter end" Clay readily agreed

"Okay, now you guys go and prepare, I'll have a little talk with someone" I have to talk with old man Zephyrus

Everyone left the room and started preparing while I walked back to the Magus Academy and asked Ms.Lucia for a favor, after some begging, she reluctantly agreed. We were now on our way towards the temple at the forbidden land

"Hey Lyan, I've always wanted to ask you this but do you remember me?" Out of nowhere Ms.Lucia asked

"What do you mean Ms.Lucia?" I had no idea what she was talking about

"Nothing, it's okay" Ms.Lucia only smiled and stayed quiet

It was awkward after that... I honestly don't know what she was talking about, did we meet in the past or in my past life? did she get reincarnated here like me? Those questions won't seem to be answered anytime soon because we already arrived at the shrine

"Oh? what brings you guys here?" Zephyrus was drinking tea outside

"Old man, may I ask for a favor?" I quickly asked

"Impatient are we? sure, what is it that you need?" He asked

"A portal to Terra, could you open one?"

"Yes, sure I can but"

"But?"

"You should know by now that your father is a meddlesome person"

"...What did he tell you?"

"Let's go inside" He beckoned us inside

We went in a room that had a protective barrier all around it, there was no furniture whatsoever only a flat open ground. It was a perfect place to have a match, which dad probably asked Zephyrus to do. Zephyrus used a comm. cube before mom and dad's holograms appeared

"So Lyan, If you want to go to Terra, show me you can do it" Dad crossed his arms and announced

"That's what he said, I'm also doing your dad a favor and that is to test you" Zephyrus laughed

"What are the conditions?" I asked

"Show me what you got and I'll assess your strength"

"Alright"

"You have 10 minutes"

I brandished Rea and ran towards Zephyrus, I hacked down but I only hit his afterimage. I brought out Lea and held her with my left hand before infusing Rea with [Flame torrent] and spinning around which created a flame tornado, Zephyrus appeared behind me like I predicted he got a slight burn from my attack.

"Oh? how did you know I was coming from the back?" Zephyrus asked as he extinguished the flames off of his robe

"I would do the same thing" I always appear the back and give them a surprise anal- *cough* surprise attack

"Hehe looks like I'm going to have to get serious" Zephyrus vanished again

I put my hand on the ground and used [Ice lotus], I was encased in an Ice lotus before Zephyrus broke it with a punch, I was blown away but I managed to recover by doing a flip and stabbing Lea on the ground which helped me slow down. Lea left a long cut on the ground as Zephyrus chased after me, I could only predict where he will be coming at because using defense as an offense won't work if your enemy is much more stronger than you. I infused Rea with [Flame stream] before swinging it up above me, Zephyrus appeared above me and punched out with his right arm. Rea and Zephyrus had a contest of strength, Zephyrus ignored the roaring flames that was coming out of Rea, he aimed his left hand at me and shot out a darkish energy orb... so his element is darkness

I jumped back and used Lea to block the energy orb, I was pushed back a bit but when I looked in front of me Zephyrus was already gone, I swung Rea behind me hoping he was there but

"Too bad" Zephrus came crashing down from above and gave me a kick that pinned me down to the ground

"Goddamnit!" I roared out and used [Storm dash] before appearing behind him before swinging Rea

He was caught off guard and wasn't able to evade so he met my attack with his weapon, his rod.

"You have three elements?!" Ms.Lucia was shocked

"You little brat, how could you hide this from your parents?" Mom and dad was also shocked

I tore off the cloth on my right arm and showed the dragon tattoo

'Raija, please' I requested

'Alright' Raija knew what I meant

The dragon tattoo glowed blue and lightning coiled around my right arm

"You got an elemental spirit?!" This time it Zephyrus was also shocked

Mom, dad, and Ms.Lucia only had their mouths wide open

I used [Storm dash] and kneed Zephyrus on the stomach, he was caught off guard and was sent flying into the sky. I chased after him by using [Flame burst] before infusing Rea and Lea with [Ice giant's strike]

'Rea!' I roared out in my mind

'Fuck yeah!' She responded to my call in her own unique way before the large blade aura appeared beside the ice mist blade that formed above Rea

I swung down Rea with all my might but Zephyrus protected himself with his weapon but my attack still sent him crashing down the ground, the ground broke and it looked like I did some damage to him. I threw Lea down and the Ice blade followed, he managed to send a continuous stream of dark energy which stopped Lea. I didn't give up and used [Storm dash] as I infused Rea with [Lightning strike], I left a blue streak of light as I fell towards Zephyrus like a meteor before swinging Rea down. He blocked with his rod and my attack caused him to be buried deep underground, I didn't stop there. I used [Ice lotus] and encased both of us in an Ice lotus before using [Flame stream], the ice melted and caused a huge mist to cover the surroundings. I now have a cover so I used [Mud pit] on the ground and kicked Zephyrus deeper into the ground, his lower body was now buried deep into the ground only his chest, arm, feet, and head were exposed. I kept swinging Rea and Lea down, and Zephyrus could only take it all in. He found a chance when I was about to swing Rea down and sent a dark orb towards my right hand which caused me to let go of Rea, I held Lea with both hands and was about to swing her down but Zephyrus did the same thing.

Both my weapons were out of my reach but I chose not to chase after them and instead use my bare hands, I conjured two Ice lance and started attacking with them but Zephyrus skillfully blocked them. It only shows that he's an experienced veteran of war, he used some skill to blow himself off the ground and escape to the skies, I was now exhausted and looked at him from above

"...haha..hahaha!" Zephyrus was quiet at first but he started laughing

"Zephyrus?" Dad looked at the old man who was slowly levitating to the ground

"He passed!" Zephyrus walked towards me and patted my shoulders

"What?" Dad was shocked

"Come on Ryan, this kid is strong and unlike you, smart!" Looks like Zephyrus chose to hide the fact that I can use earth

"Come on Zephyrus, I asked you to stop him!" He clearly disapproves of me going to Terra

"I agreed to see if he can make it" Zephyrus started stretching waist

"Come on honey, he's all grown up now... I know that Terra is a dangerous place and I don't want Lyan to die but seeing him suffer and regret is like killing him slowly, I don't want that!" Mom convinced dad

"...Okay, but you make sure you come back, in one piece" Dad looked at me

"Don't worry, I still haven't given you grandchildren" I laughed as I picked up Rea and Lea

"Alright kid. give me a couple of minutes here, go outside, there's a team there ready to tend to you" Zephyrus urged me outside

I left the room and met the team that Zephyrus sent

"Looks like that kid has really grown up" Zephyrus looked at Ryan

"*sigh* that kid is just uncontrollable" Ryan helplessly shook his head

"Oh? little Lucia? never thought you'd be here" Emille looked at Lucia

"Yeah, I guided Lyan here" Lucia replied

"Are you ok with that kid living his life while you watch him, I've known you since you were a kid, you can't hide it from me" Zephyrus asked Lucia

"I'm fine with it, some things were just not meant to be" Lucia only helplessly smiled

"Tell me, how did you meet him anyway?" Zephyrus asked Lucia

"It all happened when I was eight years old, Ryan and Emille were celebrating Lyan's fifth birthday and mom was invited so we went to pine city. I was called the prodigy back then, I could beat even an academical student in terms of knowledge and magical capabilities but I wasn't happy, every day was mundane... reading books, studying... everyone around me thought that I was too good for them and refused to approach me but then I met Lyan"

"Hey, why are you alone out here" Lyan asked, Lyan back then was cute and adorable

"Are you the son of Ryan and Emille?" I asked

"Yeah" Lyan sat beside me on the corner and looked at what I was reading

"Congratulations on your fifth" I blankly told him

"Do you have a cookie?" out of nowhere he asked

"I'm smart and rich so of course I have tons of cookies"

"Do you have a cookie right now?" he asked again

"...no I don't"

"Alright" He broke the cookie he was holding into half and gave me the other

"Thanks" I accepted the cookie and ate it, it was strangely delicious

"I wish this was an Oreo..." He muttered under his breath

"What?" I have no idea what he was talking about

"Nothing, anyway, isn't it lonely at the top?" Lyan asked

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you did say that you were rich and smart so you must probably have been pampered and all but aren't you lonely? I'm guessing that everyone treats you with so much respect that they look at you as some kind of deity instead of a normal person"

I was speechless, Lyan was spot on...

"You've been sitting here all alone so I only guessed" He looked at the cover of the book I was reading

"...You're right" I closed the book I was reading

"Then, why not be my friend?" he asked

"Sure, why not"

We both talked all night, as a young girl, I've been charmed with him, his smile and his nature but all good things must come to an end. Something came up back at Magus Academy and mom pulled me away from the party when Lyan went out to get us some refreshments, I didn't even introduce myself to him...

Lucia told everyone of how she met Lyan

"I never knew that happened..." Emille muttered

"So up until now that little girl still hasn't grown" Zephyrus laughed

"This little girl still has feelings for him but I know it's impossible" Lucia had a smile on her face
