A few minutes later, the two small children walked in, sat on the on the empty seats beside Youko.

"Now that everyone's here, let's eat~" I happily announced

We all ate together as we shared fun stories while eating, even though Youko and the two kids were silent, they still happily listened to our stories as they ate, it was a good start

Mizu, Mira, Valeria, and I left the mansion after eating. I'm a bit worried leaving the mansion to Youko because I was unsure if she can protect herself and the kids if we were to leave but Mira reassured me

I met up with Clay and the others, it seems like Clay is happy today

"Did you confess?" I pulled Clay to the side and asked

"Not yet but today is the day, I've made all the preparations!" He was very serious when he spoke

"Hope you fail" I laughed as I spoke

"Don't jinx it" Clay laughed as he walked towards Rivera

We all separated for today, I went to a shop that sells magic items. I browse through their inventory and bought a few smoke bombs, I've always wanted to throw a smoke bomb like the ninjas in the hit anime from my past life

I need to make plans on how to defeat the so-called 'Hero' I started wandering deeper and deeper into the forest while I was lost in thought, I soon found myself on the edge of a cliff. I sat there and continued thinking

I noticed it was already dark so I started making my way back to the mansion, I entered the mansion and ate dinner with everyone as they started sharing their days they've had.

I woke up early the next day and prepared all of my equipment

"Where are you going?" Mira asked

"Fight" I forgot to tell them about my fight with the hero

"Fight? let's go then" Mira was startled but she calmed down soon after

"I'm sorry but this is a one-on-one match"

I only nodded my head, I was about to open the door when Clay suddenly barged in

"Cap! bad news!" He seems energetic, wait, did he get rejected?

"What is it?" I asked

"This!" He showed me a poster, it's content was:

"Where did you get this?" I asked

"We were waiting at the gate as usual when we saw this poster stuck to the wall" Clay said with resentment

"So they made me look like the bad guy" I laughed

"Captain, please kick that hero's ass" Clay encouraged me

"Don't worry, you know I will"

"I heard a fight" Arachne ran towards us

"You only get to watch though"

"Then... I'll cheer you on~" Arachne wrapped herself around my arm

We met up with everyone and went to the Castle, Princess Mileena was there, waiting for us

"I'm sorry about the posters..." Mileena apologized

"Don't worry about it" I waved my hand

"The 'Hero' is waiting at the castle's guest room" Mileena said the word hero with disgust

We went towards the guest room but I stopped at the entrance

"You guys should wait here" I said, I know that the 'hero' is a greedy asshole, he might set his eyes on Mira and the others

Mileena understood what I meant and urged everyone to go to her room,

"I want to come with you" Arachne declined, Mira didn't say anything but she stuck close to me, it was clear what her intentions were

"Don't worry, we can observe their conversation from my room, my father is also in the guest room" Mileena reassured everyone

Arachne and Mira reluctantly complied

I entered the room after they left

"Hello Lyan" The 'Hero' Helios had both his foot on the table, the king had an apologetic face

The King stood up and walked towards me

"Lyan, I'm sorry we had to meet under these circumstances" The King greeted me

"Don't worry King Leonhart" I only smiled back

"Well, well, well, is this the knight of princess Mileena? he looks so weak and pathetic" Helios laughed

"Good to see you too 'Hero'" I need to keep my calm

"Well then, now that you're here, let's start discussing this condition that you said or are you too embarrassed to admit your defeat in front of everyone and came here to beg for my mercy?"

"Nothing" I sat down on the seat opposite of him

"Well?" he impatiently asked

"My condition is that if I win this battle, then the princess is free to choose whoever she wants to marry"

"Tch, FINE! men!" Helios shouted out and a full armored man entered while carrying a communication cube

They powered up the comm. cube and soon the King of Sigrid's hologram popped up

"What is it Helios?" The King of Sigrid asked

"Dad, you must witness me sign a royal pledge!"

"Royal pledge? what are the conditions?" The king of Sigrid asked

"Never touch anyone close to me after this fight, direct or indirect" I spoke

"Lyan I assume? fine! we accept your condition" The King of Sigrid confidently spoke

"Fine. I, Helios Sacramento, hereby royally pledge that I won't hurt anyone close to Lyan Timberwolf after our fight, direct or indirect" Helios finished his pledge by making a cut on his palm and letting the blood flow to the ground, a golden magic circle appeared underneath his feet as we heard a deep low voice

"We, the spirits of the past Kings of Sigrid have heard your royal pledge Helios, do not break your pledge or else you shall be judged by us and will be punished accordingly!" The golden magic circle disappeared just as the voice finished his sentence

"You happy?" Helios looked at me with annoyance

"Yeah"

"Then, let's go to the arena, can't wait to kick your ass"

"good luck with that"

We both left the room and left for the arena in different carriages, I was alone in my carriage. We soon arrived at the arena, Mira, Arachne, and the others were waiting in the room where I was assigned to before the match.

"We heard everything" Mira spoke

"What an asshole" Clay was clenching his fists

"That's a hero?" Rivera was disgusted

"He was a hero? thought he was a heroine form the sissy way he acts" Mizu joked

"Don't worry, Lyan will kick his ass" Arachne clenched her fists and fist pumped

"You guys aren't taking this seriously..." Talia was worried

"Of course we're worried...worried for that pathetic excuse of a human being called 'Hero'" Rivera started laughing

"Geez, no one takes me seriously" Talia complained

"It's not that we aren't worried, we just confident in Lyan winning" Valeria spoke

"Is that so?" Talia looked at me

"Yea" Everyone spoke in unison

"Then, I'll also believe in Captain" Talia was convinced

"And now, the match everyone has been waiting for! the match between the Hero of Sigrid kingdom and the son of the Northern Hero!" I heard the announcement outside followed by the roars of crowd

"It's starting, let's go to our seats" Mira pulled everyone out of the waiting room to give me some space before the match

"The hero of Sigrid Kingdom, Helios Sacramento!" The announcer spoke with great excitement, I heard women screaming afterward

"Next is the son of the Northern hero, Lyan Timberwolf!"... it was quiet... what the hell man, I'm with you guys...

"WOOO LYAN!! BEAT HIS ASS!" I heard Arachne screaming

"GO FUCK HIM UP CAPTAIN!" Clay and Rivera also roared out

"Lyan! Lyan! " It was Mizu and Valeria

"go Lyan!" Talia was also doing her best

I walked out of the room and into the arena, I heard Clay and the others cheering me on. Mira was quietly waving a small flag with my name written on it

I faced forward and saw Helios crossing his arm, he also had a smug smile. He raised his arm and all of the crowds cheered him on

"Heh, even your own people have turned on you" He laughed

"I'm not fighting for them" I brandished Rea, weird, she was strangely quiet today

'Rea, something wrong?' I asked but heard no reply

'She's sulking in the corner' Raija helplessly sighed before speaking

'Why?'

'She got traumatized after seeing you do the deed with two other women'

I infused Rea with [Fireball] and sent a crimson wave towards Helios, he only stabbed his sword on the ground which produced a golden shield that protected him from my attack, I started running towards him before jumping up and infusing Rea with [Ice Giant's strike], I slammed Rea down and the Gigantic Ice blade followed.

Helios was surprised by my attack and hurriedly stabbed his sword again on the ground, he managed to block my attack but I noticed a small crack on his shield.

"Heh, was that your best?" He was too arrogant to notice the crack earlier

"Just shut up and fight"

"Tch, Then feel honored! I'll fight seriously from now on. Shine! ASCALON!" He roared out

Ascalon? the dragon-slaying sword? Ascalon glowed red as a silhouette of a knight appeared behind Helios, the silhouette only had his head up to his waist, it was 15-feet high and had a shield on the left while holding a bigger version of Ascalon on the right

'Rea, do it!' I will only use all my elements and dragon transformation as the last resort

A blackish red aura seeped out from Rea and formed a large silhouette of a blade above Rea

"Hooh, looks like your weapon also has consciousness, but only a sword? haha, pathetic" He looked down on me

I infused Rea with [Flame Stream] which turned into [Firepath] the moment I unleashed it, Helios only laughed as the silhouette blocked my attack

"I expected better!" Helios laughed as the silhouette waved his sword and sent a shockwave towards me

It was a bit too fast to dodge so I used Rea to block, I was pushed back but that was all. I used [Dragon rush] to appear behind him before swinging Rea at his back, he didn't expect my move so he was completely defenseless and was sent flying, he hit the wall hard before falling to the ground. He stood up and wiped his mouth

"Blood?" He looked at his hands

"Never seen blood before?"

"...you...you are the first person to do this to me! PREPARE TO DIE!!" He roared out, they always say that

He ran towards me and swung down his sword, the silhouette followed his every move. All I can do was dodge and block, whenever I sent a [Fireball] or a crimson wave using Rea, the silhouette was always there to block it

"Lancelot! do it!" it seems the knight's name is Lancelot

Lancelot raised his sword and a magic circle appeared beneath me, I was too late to react. Chains came out of the circle and held me in place

"Eat this! I am the Hero, Blessed by God, Loved by all humans and vanquisher of all evil, face my judgment and suffer in hell [Judgement Blast]!!" Helios pointed his sword to the sky

A massive magic circle formed above me, a sword made out of golden light came out before heading viciously towards me. I was about to use Dragon transformation but

'Lyan, don't even think about it!' Raija roared out

'Why?! I'm gonna die if a big ass sword falls on my head!'

'Don't worry, you can take it! just don't use dragon transformation'

'Why?'

'I'll explain later!'

The sword hit me just as Raija finished her sentence, it felt like thousands of swords were raining down on me. I could only grit my teeth and endure

"Haha, that's what you get for opposing me, Ladies and gentlemen, the knight of the princess have been vanquished" Helios arrogantly announced

"Knock knock!" I appeared behind him

"What the?!" he turned around to look at me

"SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER!" I roared out as I slammed Rea down while she was infused with [Ice-Giant's strike] and [Burst]

Helios hurriedly stabbed Ascalon on the ground, Lancelot also moved his shield to block my attack. A golden light appeared just above Lancelot's shield but it was easily broken, Lancelot struggled against Rea's murderous sword silhouette along with the Ice blade but soon crumbled under Rea's mad laughter. I was about to kill him but the armored man from earlier appeared in between us and blocked my attack before pushing Helios back while sending a kick towards my stomach. I managed to dodge it by the skin of my teeth but no way in hell am I going to let Helios go.

I used [Storm dash] and appeared right in front of Helios before wrapping my right foot in [Lightning Strike] and enhancing it with [Burst] before kicking him right in the crotch

"FUCK YOUR CHILDREN" Helios couldn't react on time and only watch as his balls get crushed and electrocuted

"What the hell did you do?!" The armored man appeared in front of me and raised me up by grabbing my neck

"He tried to kill me, why can't I do the same?" I blankly replied

"Tch, you piece of shit!" he was about to punch me but another man appeared behind him and restrained him

"Oi, General Sigurd, have you stooped so low that you're going to hurt a kid?" the man who stopped Sigurd from punching me spoke

"Raizar! you should know what he did!" Sigurd complained

"Come on Sigurd, we're both level 250, it should be clear who's in the wrong" Raizar shot back

"I won't forget you" Sigurd gave me a death glare before carrying Helios who was unconscious and had white foam seeping out of his mouth

"You really did that guy in huh" Raizar patted my shoulder

"He asked for it" I replied

"Son of Ryan Timberwolf, nice to meet you, I'm Raizar Farsight, General of the Steel army"

"Lyan Timberwolf, the pleasure is all mine" We shook our hands after introducing ourselves

The Arena was still quiet, they were still processing everything that happened

"WOO LYAN WON, EAT THAT SONS OF BICHES!" Clay was standing and was screaming at the crowd

The crowd was silent and could only grumble as they left, Clay and the others soon came to congratulate me.

"Hey Cap... who left that mark behind your back?" Clay asked

"WHAT?" I only noticed now that I was topless and only had my pants on

"These scratches on your back, who left them... ate-Mira or ate-Arachne?" Clay asked

"Both?" They honestly clawed on my back, it was painful but worth it
