"You again!" Scylla looked at me with resentment

"Who is he?" The leviathan looked at the broken cage before looking at me

"He's the human that killed me" Scylla pointed her fingers at me

"Oh? is that so? then we'll have to make him compensate for it now don't we?" the leviathan licked his lips

"Hey, Scylla, didn't I roast you to death?" I was I killed her

"Who the hell gave you permission to say my name? hmph, I'll let it slide just this once since you will be offering your body to me as food, as for your question...hehe, I almost thought I'd die from your attack but luckily, I ate the 'Undead's heart' that the necromancer Zed offered to me for my cooperation" Scylla started laughing

"And how about your pathetic husband?" I sneered

"He's back home waiting for spare parts that you will have to offer" Scylla made a cutting motion with her small saber

I carried Mira and left her with Mizu, Mizu, on the other hand, came out from hiding and passed the responsibility of watching over Mira to the scout that led us here.

"Oh? Princess Mizu, what a pleasant surprise, still fantasizing a prince charming?" Scylla mocked Mizu

"Shut it, don't you dare make fun of my dreams" Mizu shot back

"A princess who is wearing an armor and is equipped with a weapon wishes to be saved, Ha! how laughable, perhaps you're on your journey to save your prince charming instead" Scylla argued back

"You'll pay for that!" Mizu is quite hot blooded

"Hunk, take care of that human" Scylla ordered the leviathan before diving into the water, Mizu did the same thing

"Human, you will pay for destroying my cage" Hunk looked at me and grinned

"Oh I'll pay you alright" I brought out Rea and Lea, this is going to be one tough fight. Leviathans are large and stupid but the scales on their body are no joke

"Come at me!" The leviathan started running to me, the ground made a thud every time he took a step.

I infused Lea with [Mud pit] and threw her on the ground where Hunk was about to step in, Lea landed on the ground between his fit. Hunk's legs started to get submerged in the pit of sand and mud, I didn't waste time and infused [Lighning strike] on Rea before using [Dragon Rush] and landed three clean hits on the back of Hunk. I only left minor burns on his scales, Hunk's scales are really tough.

"Hehe, pathetic, you humans are just pathetic!" Hunk let out a mocking laughter as he tried to escape from the mud pit

I infused Rea with [Ice giant's strike] and slammed it down on Hunk's head if I can't win using elemental advantage then I'll just have to use brute force, Hunk met the gigantic Ice blade with a bite of his mouth.

"Hahaha! keep it up human, you might just scratch me" Hunk kept mocking me

The mud pit finally wore off and he started slowly walking towards me, he was fucking annoying me. I used [Vanish] and disappeared from his sight, I quickly picked up Lea while infusing both with [Fireball]. I jumped behind him and used [Burst], both Lea and Rea were now burning with power as I swung them down and managed to break some scales on his back.

"That actually hurt! hehe, it's been a long time since my scales broke" Hunk turned around and tried to squish me by stomping his feet

I moved to the side and dodged his attack but he had already anticipated this and cast a spell

"Everchanging tides, break my enemy and skin his hide [Gush]!" Hunk opened his mouth and a jet stream of water hit me on my chest, my chest felt like it was being crushed by a heavy boulder as I was blasted away.

I crashed into the forest, four trees were broken before I finally slumped to the ground. One attack from him already cut my life in half... I really should've learned healing magic when I had the time. I took out a healing potion from my magic pouch and downed it one go, I should be more careful since I can't drink another potion for the next five minutes.

I started running back to the shore where hunk was waiting but when I got there, the scout looking after Mira was already down on the ground while Mira was suffocating due to hunk holding her tightly by the neck. I quickly threw an [Ice Lance] that was aimed at Hunk's hand before re-equipping Rea and rushing off to attack Hunk, the ice lance only grabbed his attention. He turned to look where the ice lance came from but I already used [storm dash] and arrived at his arm, I furiously swung down Lea and Rea. The impact made Hunk involuntarily let go of Mira, I caught Mira just as she was about to hit the ground.

"Didn't think you were still alive after my attack" Hunk looked at me with a sinister smile

"For an idiot, your punches are pretty heavy" I had to admit it

"Who are you calling an idiot?!" seems like I struck a nerve

Mira started coughing so I quickly checked on her condition, Hunk's grip was so tight that it left a mark on Mira's neck. I gently laid her on the sand and asked

"You ok?"

"Lyan..? thank god you're ok!" Mira hugged me

"I should be asking you that..." It pains me to see her suffer

"Don't worry, this is nothing" Mira waved her hand before bringing out a potion and drinking it

"What happened to the others?" at first I was pretty confident in my teammates surviving but seeing Mira made me worry for the others

"Don't worry, before we separated, they managed to stick together and rode a small boat"

"Is that so? *sigh*" I let out a sigh of relief

"Oi lovebirds, forgetting something?" Hunk was annoyed

"Sorry but I got no time to fight you" I can't fight Hunk so I'll just escape, I quickly grabbed the passed out scout and Mira before using [Storm Dash] to escape

"Oh no you don't! Water emerge! entrap my enemy in a never-ending tidal surge! [Aqua Sphere!]" Hunk finished his chant and the water from the ocean started to form a sphere around me, I threw the scout out of the forming sphere, I was about to throw Mira off the sphere but she suddenly vanished from my arms. I felt a strong push from behind me and saw Mira pushing me off from the sphere, I couldn't react at all. I was out of the sphere but I quickly tried to enter it but no matter what I do, I can't seem to enter it.

"Don't even try human! once the sphere has formed you can't enter or exit, you'll have no choice but to watch the woman slowly drown as the sphere is filled with water! HAHAHAHA" Hunk laughed like a maniac

"Don't worry about me Lyan! I want you to live!" Mira gently spoke as water started to fill the sphere

The sphere is 20 feet high, I need to find a way to break the sphere.

'Raija! do you know of a way to break this thing?!' I was desperate

'....I'm sorry...' Raija replied with a weak voice

I can't just give up, I was mad at myself for being too weak, being too slow, sure I can 8 elements, have Grimm's blessings, have a live dragon live in my consciousness...I even received the blessings of one but what's the point if I can't protect those who are dear to me?

I kept hitting the sphere with all I've got

"Lyan, please stop! go and escape!" Mira pleaded but I ignored her, the water already reached up to her knees

"Lyan! please GO!" Mira was starting to cry but I still didn't stop, if I leave now I'll regret it for the rest of my life

"If you want to set her free then kill me! if you can! HAHAHAHAHA" Hunk was amused by the events

I ran towards him while brandishing Rea and Lea, I infused them with [Lightning strike] before using [Vanish] and appearing in front of his head and slamming down both blades whos strength were further boosted by [Burst], my attack only left two small cuts on his forehead.

"Haha! is this your best?!" Hunk laughed as he grabbed me and slammed me to the ground

He grabbed me and forced me to look at the sphere that was already filled half-way

"Watch as the woman dies!" Hunk kept laughing,

'Come on Lyan, we can do this! don't give up!' Rea kept trying to encourage me

I moved my body but I couldn't move an inch... it was hopeless, I can't even hear Rea anymore. Everything slowed down, Mira was floating inside the sphere, Hunk was laughing with his mouth wide open...Mira was only smiling at me, she was saying something but I can't hear it... no, I refuse to hear it... I'm afraid that those will be her words.

"In this world strength reigns supreme" I heard a voice, I raised my head and notice my surroundings turn dark

Everything was dark but two golden eyes started glowing in front of me

"Dragon King?" How? I thought he was already dead

"Don't be afraid, the golden liquid I made you drink was the last of my blood, it is the reason why I can still speak with you"

"You're not gonna take over my body aren't you?" I laughed sarcastically, this was my defense mechanism even in my past life... my motto was "Sarcasm is your best defense" I always laughed at my problems...

"Don't worry child, I'm already tired of living. I've already lost too much in my life, I spent my entire life collecting fortune and riches but when I finally got what I wanted, I awoke to the fact that I was alone... I didn't even have anyone to call a friend, I even lost the love of my life and the child she was conceiving when I went out to take the fortunes of a kingdom..."

I was silent, I already knew that Dragons craved for riches

"Listen, kid, I might've lost my lover but you still have a chance, don't give up and fight to the bitter end"

"Give up and let her die

because you'll fail no matter how hard you try

but one thing's for sure

regret will never be a cure

when she leaves this world so your safety is ensured"

The Dragon King's eyes closed and I was back to reality, The sphere was almost full and Mira was getting ready to accept her fate

"MIRA! FIGHT ON! WE WHO WHO GREW UP TOGETHER HAS LICKED EACH OTHER WOUNDS, I WOULD BE READY TO DIE WITH YOU IF YOU WERE TO DIE TOMORROW BUT YOU'VE TOLD ME TO LIVE ON BUT I WILL LIVE IF YOU WERE THERE WITH ME TO FACE TOMORROW" I screamed out on top of my lungs, Mira had a surprised look but I managed to give her hope. She was getting ready to hold her breath.

*Ping* conditions have been fulfilled, Dragon's wrath first chapter unlocked!

A chant popped out in my head and I quickly chanted it

"'The serenity inside

causes my demons to hide

be careful not to hurt those I love

or suffer my demon's wrath!' [Dragonic transformation]" I roared out and felt my strength come back to me, it even reached a whole new level

I opened my eyes and felt my whole body covered in armor

*10 seconds left before the dragonic transformation wears off* I heard a notification inside my head. I have to kill Hunk, fast.

I broke off from his grip, and quickly sent a punch on his stomach which caused the ground to shake

"WHAT THE-?!" Hunk couldn't finish his words because I already sent a uppercut at his jaw that caused him to bite his tongue off

*9 seconds*

I kept raining punches on his chest, he couldn't even retaliate as his scales were blown off one by one

*8 seconds*

I grabbed Rea, I even heard her scream in excitement. I kept slashing his right arm until it was torn off

*7 seconds*

I started hacking down on his left arm but he retaliated and cast another [Jet torrent] but it only washed off the blood off of my armor, felt like going through carwash, I ignored the free wash and cut off his arm before grabbing it and ramming it down his throat

"YOU LIKE THIS YEAH? YOU FUCKING SADISTIC MOTHERFUCKER" I literally snapped, just thinking about losing Mira is making me go on a rampage

*6 seconds*

"No, please stop I'*ghuk* I-I'll release her!" Hunk struggled to speak, he even choked on his arm before he released Mira from the sphere

"There I've released her, now let me go!" he pleaded

"I didn't agree to anything you've said!" I grabbed his foot and cut it off with Rea, Rea, on the other hand, was moaning so hard

*5 seconds*

He was crying, he even had snot flowing from his gills as he started crawling with only his right foot left

"SCYLLA HELP ME!!" he roared out

Scylla surprisingly emerged from the ocean but... there was a gigantic water spear that impaled her head, on the other hand of the spear was Mizu, she was wounded all over but she managed to emerge victorious

"NOOOO!" Hunk lost all hope and stared at me with pleading eyes as I slowly walked towards him

*4 seconds*

"'you who caused me grief and anger by your action, feel a dragon's retaliation'[Dragon's breath]" It was a bonus skill that came with the transformation, my dragon helmet's mouth gaped open as sparks started flying here and there

*please choose your element!* seems like I can change the element of my dragonic armor

'Lightning' it was the best against water types... this ain't some monster game from my past life you know... PIIIKAAAA *cough*

*3 seconds*

The charging finished and a thunderous ray headed straight for Hunk, Hunk could only look away.

*2 seconds*

I went to Mira and the scout to block off any possible explosions

* 1 second*

Hunk was hit by my attack but it didn't stop there and headed straight the cave where Scylla and her husband live

The Dragonic wore off just as the cave exploded, Hunk? not even a hair was left of him (Hunk doesn't have a hair). I slumped down to the ground, Mira sat beside me and gave me a lap pillow. It was a great feeling, I was savoring the feeling when I felt a drop of water hit my face

"I'm so glad..." Mira hugged my head

I only kept silent and struggled to move my hand to pat her head

"I accepted my fate but deep down inside... I was afraid... I am not strong at all!" Mira kept crying, I don't understand what she meant by strength tho

Mizu also slithered towards us and threw the lifeless corpse of Scylla on the shore

"You sure she's dead?" My voice was muffled by Mira's hug but Mizu still understood

"Yeah... I already broke the Undead's heart inside of her" She laid down on the sand beside me

Mizu took out a conch shell and spoke

"This is Mizu, I am in need of medical attention. I am located at Scylla's island, there are also 3 more injured excluding me" She called for help

"This is patrolling Naga Guardian Oslo, we've received your request for help. Please stay where you are and stay safe princess!" A reply soon came after
