"Captain is really amazing... " Clay muttered as he looked at the demon

"If this is the cost for being amazing then I'd rather see Lyan being uninteresting..." It really breaks my heart seeing Lyan like this

Arachne fell asleep while hugging Lyan, Rivera exhausted most of her strength and also fell asleep. The demon's body soon crumbled and left behind a 36-inch magic stone, and a horn. I took off Lyan's magic pouch before placing Rea and Lea inside along with the magic stone and the horn.

"Clay, carry Rivera while Valeria and I will carry Arachne and Lyan. Talia, you are responsible for looking for the safest route, it's not safe here let's go!"

I carried Lyan and we swiftly made our way out of the cave. The Nagas were fighting off the 10-foot zombie along with the 10 students from knight academy and religion of light, we took this chance and escaped, luckily no one detected us.

"Talia, did you find a safe place?" I asked Talia

"Yes, by the shore, there's no Nagas there" she replied

"Lead the way" I was relieved

After running for an hour, we finally reached the shore. I used the communication stone that the academy gave us for this mission

"I finally managed to contact you guys, what the hell happened?! " Ms.Lucia was the one who answered my call

"Reporting, we found a cave wherein a necromancer named Zac used as a base"

"What the hell?! Are you guys alright?!"

"We're fine but Lyan suffered heavy injuries while fighting a demon"

"Stay where you are! We are currently on a ship heading towards tortoise island! " Ms.Lucia cut off the call

"Valeria and Clay, go get some rest while Talia and I keep watch" I ordered out, the two followed my orders and took a nap under the shade of a coconut tree.

"Thank god ate-Mira is strong" Talia spoke to me

"Strong? " I don't get what she's saying

"I mean, everyone was panicking when we saw captain unconscious but you held it together and got us through that mess..." Talia explained

"Is that so? " I only smiled

It was an awkward silence after that, 4 hours passed and we finally saw a boat heading towards us.

"Ate-Mira, we've got company! " Talia alerted me

"Clay, Valeria, Rivera, Arachne, wake up!" I woke them all up and told them to prepare for an attack

5 Nagas came out of the bushes and fought with us but easily took care of them. Another wave of Nagas was about to attack but multiple fireballs rained down from the sky and prevented their advance.

"Get in! " Ms.Lucia shouted

We quickly boarded the ship and left the island

"Did you find it? " a siren asked a guard in front of her

"Yes m'lady, we've found the crown" the guard respectfully presented the crown.

"Those undeads... How dare they use the crown to unseal a demon" the siren kept cursing before asking the guard again

"What about the demon? "

" the demon and the undead were all killed"

"Killed? By who? "

"Humans that the scout reported"

"Where are they? "

"They escaped tortoise island"

"Is that so? Then gather everyone and retreat! we must return the crown back to the shrine, the Leviathan should have sensed the death of the demon Amon and is on its way to get the crown. We must not let it get the crown! that's our priority now!"

"Yes m'lady"

"What happened to Lyan?" Ms.Lucia asked while looking at Lyan who was asleep, Ms.Lucia and I were in Lyan's room

"He fought a demon, here take a look" I quickly took out the recording stone from earlier.

"! This is the demon knight chief Amon! Lyan fought Amon and won?! Mira, did Lyan really fight Amon alone?"

"Yes he did"

"This is big, for Lyan to kill the demon knight chief..." Ms.Lucia looked at Lyan before continuing "I'm just thankful he still returned in one piece"

The journey was long and hard but we managed to make it out piece.

"You should rest up, don't worry about Lyan, I'll watch over him" Ms.Lucia said

I walked out of the room and went to mine, I took off my clothes and wore my pajamas before sleeping. A lot has happened, I'm not only exhausted physically but also mentally.

I woke up in the afternoon, I took a bath and wore my usual Maid uniform before going to the dining hall to eat. By the time I got there, everyone from our party had taken their seats and were about to eat. I grabbed a simple salad with rice and some barbecued chicken meat and ate with them, after eating my meal, I quickly went to Lyan's room to check on him.

I entered his room and saw Ms.Lucia reading a book.

"You feeling better?" Ms.Lucia asked

"Yeah" I took a seat beside Lyan's bed

"You've got nothing to do?" Ms.Lucia asked

"Watching over Lyan is something"

"You should look for something like a hobby"

"I have no interests in such things"

"Oh, hey there" Arachne entered the room

"Hi, what brings you here?" Ms.Lucia asked Arachne

"I came to visit Lyan" Arachne replied with a smile

Ms.Lucia was about to ask Arachne something but we heard a shout coming from outside

"It's the Leviathan!" Arachne and I both looked at each other and quickly ran outside while Ms.Lucia followed behind us

I had a bad feeling about this, I heard that the Leviathans were a tribe that hunted down and destroyed ships in the seas, they were also known as the cousin of the Giant tribe. The Leviathans were also known to have a great enmity towards the Nagas, did the war of Nagas and the undead attract a Leviathan?

"Prepare for battle! the monster has set its eyes on us!" the captain shouted, all of the ship's crew went to their battle stations and awaited the captain's command. I asked Arachne to call everyone and go to Lyan's room, for now we must stick together and protect Lyan from the upcoming battle

"Disgusting land creatures, DIE!" the Leviathan roared out as he slammed his huge arms on the boat.

"Fire! Fire at will!!" the captain roared out, I started running towards Lyan's room to make sure that nothing bad happens to him.

"You think you can hurt me with your puny pebbles?!" The attack only caused the Leviathan to get enraged

"Foolish human's who wish to stop me on my path, suffer the pain of a Leviathan's wrath! [Riptide!]" The Leviathan finished ahis chant and soon after, gigantic waves started hitting the boat. At this rate, the boat will fall apart before I could even get anywhere near Lyan. My fears came to life as the boat was split into pieces however I never gave up and kept running and jumping here and there until I finally reached Lyan's room but when I opened it... the room was already empty, there was a huge hole on the floor where Lyan's bed is supposed to be...

I felt strength leave my body, I fell down on my knees. Don't tell me I'm going to lose Lyan?... I mustn't give up, I sucked in a mouthful of air and dived down on.
