Days passed and it's finally time for the Magus inter Academy clash. Since we were from Class A we were set to be fighting the winner of the fight between Class B until Class D. Are we some kind of a final boss??

Each class will have a respective representative which will fight 1 vs 1 on stage. As for us from class A, we will fight amongst ourselves.

The winner will be class A's representative... I wish I could be pair against Butch it's about time for some payback...

And like that the Annual Magus clash started

Class A first match

Butch vs. Greg...

Greg surrendered before the match even started.

"Booo"

"You fucking pussy go back to your father's arse! "

Waves of insult came from the audience and Greg had no choice but to embarrassingly leave the stage.

Next match Chris vs. Dylan

Ohh at least this will be good.

"Start! "

Shouted the referee

Chris and Dylan quickly chanted

"[Wind slash]! " [Chris]

"[Earth spike]! " [Dylan]

Shouted Chris and Dylan respectively. Wait.. Why aren't they moving?...

After observing the other battles I noticed that all the students only stood still and kept casting spells at each other.. What kind of match is this? This is actually a match to see which one has higher mana capacity...

Finally, after a few spells, Chris won by knocking Dylan off the stage.

Next match

Lyann vs. Cole

Oh looks like I'm up, I head to the stage but Arachne refused to leave my head so I can only let her stay there.

"Pets are not allowed"

said the referee

"I'm sorry but she doesn't want to get off" [Lyan]

I said apologetically towards the referee. The referee towards the judges and after returning he said

"Ok, you must make sure your pet won't attack otherwise your disqualified " [Referee]

"Yes, thank you very much"[Lyan]

"Ok then. Start! "[Referee]

I only equipped the arm guards and started rushing at Cole,

"[Entangling vines] "

Cole shouted and a few vines came out the ground and tried to wrap itself around me, I managed to dodge it in time and cast [Ice Lance] towards Cole, Cole jumped back touched the ground and cast

[tree wall]!. It managed to stop my [ice lance] but I quickly moved to his side and threw an [ice blast] at him pushing him backwards, afterwards I moved behind his back and gave him a roundhouse kick but before sending him flying I cast [ice binding] freezing his feet in place, I went in front of him and kneed his stomach rendering him unconscious...

"... "

The crowd was silent before bursting into cheers

"Winner Lyan! "

the referee announced before calling a team to clean up and take Cole to the infirmary...

Ricard vs. Lyan

Winner Lyan Ricard lost a few teeth and had a face full of bruises. Lots of women despised me that day until now.

Finally, after two days it finally came to the last match,

Lyan vs. Butch vs. Lisa

"Lyan don't you dare lose smash that Butch and show em who's boss! " [Chris]

Chris said while massaging my shoulders

"Yea make that Lisa lose a few teeth too" [Rona]

Rona also chimed in

"Uhm... Goodluck" [Aurora]

said Aurora doing a little fist pump.

"My punches might not be able to penetrate that thick amount of make-up"[Lyan]

I replied to Rona, Rona and Reina can't help but let out a hearty laugh Aurora too giggled.

I finally walked unto the stage.

"1st-year Last match... Start! " [Referee]

Butch and Lisa looked at each other before nodding at each other and rushing towards me, these two...

Tch looks like they had some prior agreement, I dodged Butch's punch by jumping up and sending an axe kick, but before it could reach Butch cast [earth spike] and managed to slowed down my kick allowing him to escape, from behind came an [aqua jet] from Lisa I manged to dodge it by the skin of my teeth, but Butch used this chance and grabbed hold of my right foot and throwing me at the [earth spike] he released earlier, they didn't wait for me to catch my breath as Lisa cast [aqua cutter] towards me at high speeds.

I managed to counter it by using [ice blast] freezing her attack, Butch, on the other hand, finished chanting and cast [earth tomb], two walls appeared on my each of my side which tried to crush me, I managed to jump up in time evading the two walls and threw two [Ice Lance] towards Lisa and Butch.

Even though Lisa managed to dodge Butch didn't make it time and was struck in his left shoulder, I moved to his right and blasted him upwards with [ice blast], while he was mid-air, I kept throwing [ice lance] at his body and when I finally landed on the ground, his back was frozen solid and there was a lot of [Ice Lance] protruding from his back making him look like a porcupine,

"1 down"

I say as I gave Lisa a menacing stare.

"I-I give up"

Lisa said before running off the stage... I really wanted to wipe that makeup off her face...

"Winner and representative of Class A, Lyan Timberwolf! " [Referee]

the crowd started cheering and Chris and his group came to congratulate me.

"Tomorrow Lyan will be up against the overall winner of class B-D representative of Class B Mordred! " [Referee]

Looks like the referee wasn't finished but continued anyway.

The next day the championship matches were held, my match against Mordred was in the morning followed by the 2nd year, in the afternoon it was 3rd and 4th years' championship match.

"first match Lyan vs. Mordred start! " [Referee]

Mordred cast a [fireball] towards me followed by a series of [flame arrow], [flame stream], and finally a [fire snake]

I had nowhere left to run so I quickly cast [ice lotus] on the ground....

It managed to protect me but the steam that came afterward blocked my line of sight, when the steam cleared up I finally see Mordred finishing her chant and with labored breathing screamed

"take this[meteor]!! " [Mordred]

I looked above me and a meteor the size of a refrigerator was heading straight at me, with no time to escape, I used [Ice giant's strike]

A magic circle appeared on my left side and a gigantic hand punched towards the meteor in the sky.,*bang* the moment they collided, shockwaves of the clash shook the protective barrier around the arena, pieces of rubble fell from the sky, I managed to evade them and looked the gigantic ice hand..

Half of it is gone while the other is quickly melting while letting off steam but this time the steam didn't obstruct anyone's vision. On the other side of the Arena, Mordred stood there shocked, I rushed towards her sending an [Ice blast] pushing her off the arena.

"First year's Champion Class A's Lyan Timberwolf! " [Referee]

The crowd kept cheering and Chris along with Reina, Rona, and Aurora congratulated me. After all the other fights have been finished we were called up the stage to receive our rewards, I was awarded 3000 gold coins along with a trophy. The currency of this world is like this

100 copper = 1 silver

100 silver = 1 gold

100 gold = 1 white gold

So 3000 gold was quite a large sum, this should help me buy a monster bag which Arachnee can live in, a monster bag was similar to a magic bag, the only difference is that only your contracted monster can enter the monster bag.

After the award giving came banquet everyone was required to come so no matter how much I declined, Ms. Luciq still forced me to wear a formal attire and dragged me to the banquet...

Everyone was enjoying themselves well except for Ricard, after messing up his face you could barely recognize so he sat alone in a corner drinking wine while occasionally giving me a death stare.

Heh serves you right, Rona, Reina, and Aurora finally came. Rona and Reina wore the same dress the only difference was The color, Rona's was red while Reina's was blue Aurora, however, wore a pink dress making her look like a doll.

Upon arrival, Chris already invited Reina to a dance, Reina can only helplessly accept and was dragged to the dance floor. Rona and Aurora could only giggle at this scene.

"Aurora, do you have it? "

I walked towards Aurora and asked

"Yes, I have it right here" [Aurora]

she replied while rummaging through her magic bag.

"Sorry for suddenly asking you to do this if I had known earlier there was gonna be a banquet... " [Lyan]

"It's ok we handle rushed orders all the time. " [Aurora]

She finally found what she was looking for and brought out a tiny black dress.

"Then, thank you very much" [Lyan]

I thank her as I received the dress,

"Arachne your dress arrived come wear it" [Lyan]

"Ah let me help you put it on her" [Aurora]

said Aurora and so with a bit of effort Arachne is now wearing a dress, too fucking cute.. she looked happy as she crawled all over my body.

A few people tried to ask Aurora and Rona out for a dance but were all rejected so I just asked them to go to the veranda and have a chat there.

On the veranda we kept talking about our daily lives after school and after a few wines Rona's face was flushed red and kept laughing for no reason, clearly she's drunk so I called Reina to let her know I'm taking Rona back to their home, Aurora also tagged along because she would only be alone in the banquet.

After sending both Rona and Aurora back to their homes I went back to my room, changed my clothes and took off Arachne's dress as well before finally sleeping
