Chapter 7
As soon as the boy stepped forward, Dragon squinted his raging eyes and rushed forward. He was several times faster, than someone his age could normally move and the other boy didn’t even completely realize what was happening as a foot hit him in the face, cracking his nose.
Dragon who landed after delivering his flying kick, abruptly turned around, kicking the chin of the boy with the back of his right foot.
‘CRACK’ another loud noise was heard as the boys jaw dislocated, the power of the kick sent him to the ground. Dragon didn’t have time to think about the miraculous strength his weak body normally wasn’t supposed to have and moved as quick as a cat towards the second boy, who was looking dumbfounded at the body of his fainted friend. Two metres before Dragon could reach him the boy realized his mistake and shifted into a defensive stance, both legs sideways, with the right leg in the front and both hands, which were curled into fists crossed in front of his face. Normally this defending stance was enough to defend against normal street fights, but Dragon wasn’t a street fighter. He was someone who was at the peak of martial arts in his old world and even though his body was years away from the power of his old one, the mysterious energy aided him in this moment, strengthening his muscles, bones, organs and skin.
The boy’s stance was full of holes for Dragons yellow eyes. He shifted into a sidestep, which the boy couldn’t see as he was blocking his sight with his own hands.
A sharp noise was heard as Dragon’s leg whistled through the air.
‘CRACK’ the foot hit the lower ribs on the right side of the boy’s chest, breaking them instantly and throwing him out of his stance. As soon as the blocking hands were down Dragon sidestepped into the broken defence of the boy, grabbed his head and with another ‘CRACK’ noise hit his own head against the nose of the boy. There was no wound on the forehead of Dragon, but the boy wasn’t as lucky as him. Blood sprayed out of the shattered nose, instantly covering Dragon’s face. Dragon, who was ready to give the boy another hit, suddenly discovered that the boy was already unconscious from the pain of his broken ribs and nose. Dragon pushed the boy to the side and with a loud ‘THUD’ the body hit the snow covered ground. Slowly the feeling of power caused by the mysterious energy, subsided and Dragon felt really tired. It was like back in the days of his training, when he ran for five hours straight through mountain areas, carrying several kilos of weight in stone.

‘Fuck…I will have to do that again…why couldn’t we find the bodies of five peak strength martial artists to take over’ he grumbled inwardly. ‘This energy…is really powerful. I felt like I could lift a mountain with my bare hands…dangerous…its like I am on drugs when this energy is activated in my body, clouding my mind and making decisions difficult. I should find out more about this, before I consider to use it again…too dangerous…!’ he thought and envisioned himself, while under the influence of the strange power, fighting a gigantic terrible monster with countless teeth and claws. ‘This energy makes me careless and my decision making is partially suppressed. If I cannot control it, it is too dangerous to use! I will talk with my brothers about this, but first…lets get some clothes’ Dragon thought and squinted his eyes towards the boy he knocked down first. He walked towards him and observed him carefully. After the use of the strange energy his body was weaker than before, he didn’t want to take the risk of getting surprised. Fortunately the boy was unconscious, so he moved next to him and started stripping his clothes. A few moments later Dragon looked exactly like one of the junior members of the gang. A black jacket with small, fake golden embroideries in it, black undershirt out of a warm but somewhat heavy material, black pants, held by a dark brown leather belt with two pockets and dark brown leather boots. He also had the scarf curled around his neck, which could cover his face. He was satisfied with his appearance, except for the unfamiliar body of a five to six year old. It was already getting late, so he decided to head back immediately, after washing his face with a little bit of snow. On his way back he avoided crowded streets as often as possible and fortunately none of the real gang members detected him.

After more or less twenty minutes he stepped into the alley in which they separated.
He was greeted by four people with black hair, pale skin and pitch black eyes. All four brothers were there. Tiger wore similar clothes to dragon except for the embroidery, which was red on his jacket. Snake was wearing plain brown clothes, which looked sturdy and warm, but didn’t stand out. Hawk and Turtle wore normal black clothes, without any embroidery. They all looked at Dragon expectantly, waiting for him to start talking.

Overseer (Dwarf Fortress x Worm)
A young woman gains the power to make elements of a saved game real. She must then survive the assault of a coordinated attack by some of the deadliest parahumans on the planet - he same group of murderhobos that caused her the mental trauma that resulted in her gaining her powers to begin with. This is a crossover fiction between the most complicated game ever created, 'Dwarf Fortress' by Toady One, and an extensive grimdark superpower genre serial fiction called 'Worm' by Wildbow. It is violent and there are some references to sex in it, so it's probably not fit for young children to read, and persons not familiar with Dwarf Fortress or Worm might be confused by some elements, but I feel confident that it stands reasonably well on it's own. This crossover is complete. I posted it here in it's entirety all at once. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
