Chapter 3
I opened the door to my room and collapsed onto my bed. It was almost time for Sitri’s show, so I couldn’t fall into a deep sleep quite yet, but I wanted to at least rest a little before watching it. Just before I was about to doze off, Morgana materialised dressed in a light pink nurse’s outfit. She was holding a wooden bowl in one hand and some clean cloth in the other. Our eyes met and for a split second, we just stared at each other.
“Master…”
“Y-yeah?”
“Strip...”
“...”
I faced the other way from Morgana and returned to catching 40 winks.
“M-master! Don’t you want me to bandage you up?”
“Sure, when you change out of that outfit and…”
“I refuse!”
“H-how did you even know to wear that!? Weren’t you practically out of the loop from everything for centuries?”
“The old fool told me that an outfit like this, would make master happy, teehee!”
“Wahahahaha, you can thank me later foolish boy, I still remember those porn mags that you…”
“OK, OK! Let’s get this over with…”
I stripped to the waist and sat facing Morgana so she could have a look at the damage. The wound was deep and it was beginning to turn purple. Blood was slowly oozing from it, but it was seeping out a lot slower, compared to how it gushed out at the start.
“Youch! How are you even conscious master?”
“It looks a lot worse than it feels.”
“Oh? Well there’s no way that my magic will be able to fix this, maybe if you evoked me earlier, I could have been able to do something.”
“...Nope, I’m not gonna get worked up over that comment again.”
“Awww, master is super adorable when he gets worked up, teehee! It was a good thing we stopped and gathered the necessary herbs, I’ve managed to concut some salve. It will sting a little, but it should be able to stop the bleeding and seal the wound. Once it’s sealed, I’ll be able to handle the rest with my magic, but it will definitely leave a scar.”

“Ew, it’s all green and slimy, what’s in that stuff?”
“I think it’s better if you didn’t know master, teehee!”
Morgana bent down and began wiping my wound clean. The cloth she was using to wipe the blood off would not stain, no matter how many times she wiped it. It must be some special kind of material. It seemed that she had done this before because she was really good at cleaning the wound while not making the whole process too painful.
After the wound was clean, she got some of the salve in one hand and began applying it with the other.
“Ouch, ouch, It’s like this stuff is eating my flesh.”
“Bare it master, there’s a slight infection, just be glad that I don’t have to result to purging the remnants of Alessia and Tiamat’s demonic energy from you.”
“Huh?”
“The old fool already devoured what was left. Your level of affinity with him is truly remarkable…”
“Wahahahaha, you don’t have to thank me foolish boy, the great…”
“I won’t.”
Morgana finished applying the salve and then produced some bandages from somewhere. She leaned in a little too close for my liking and began wrapping them around the wound. Although they looked like normal bandages, they felt extremely cool and light. The overall feeling reminded me of the cloth she used earlier.
“What are these bandages made of?”
“I think it’s better if you didn’t know master, teehee!”
She meticulously bandaged me up. Soon after, the flesh eating slime had stopped nibbling on me. The area around the wound became numb and the pain ceased completely. Morgana stood up and stretched out.
“Phew, it’s done!”
“R-right, t-thanks…”
Morgana placed her hands on her face and blushed. I pulled a full sleeved shirt from a drawer and began to put it on.
“M-master! Y-you must not.”
“Huh?”

“M-master must remain s-shirtless for the h-healing to take effect, doctor's orders!”
“...”
I ignored her and finished putting the shirt on. I left the buttons undone in case what she said was actually true. Just when I was about to relax again, someone knocked on my door.
“*knock* *knock* Master Kuro, his highness has requested that I tell everyone to meet in the main living area.”
“Oh? Is that you Beth?”
“Yes, my mistress is also awaiting you there.”
“R-right, I’ll be there in a minute.”
What did that bastard want now? I got out of bed and began making my way to the main living area. Morgana had already disappeared by the time I turned the corner in to the open plan living space. I spotted Seir, Alice, Shiro and the twins all sitting on the sofa and watching the flat screen. I walked toward them and sat opposite Seir.
“Oh? Looks like you got that wound taken care of, damn, I was planning to ship you off to Lady Asmodeus in exchange for treating it, ahaha.”
“Hah! Now I am no longer at your mercy, whenever I get injured.”
“...I shall prepare some tea and coffee for all of us.”
"We will help too!" (twins)
“Great idea! Also, please inform Lady Asmodeus that Kuro will not be joining her for dinner tomorrow Alice.”
“...Right away my lord.”
I shot Seir a scathing gaze and looked at Shiro. She made eye contact with me but looked away the second our eyes actually met.
“It’s starting.”
Seir spoke, I looked toward the screen and saw the intro for Sitri’s show. The opening theme would stay in your head no matter how annoying you thought it was. The show began with a close up shot of Sitri smiling.
“Welcome everyone to the most must see show on TV, welcome, to Sabrina's Summit Summary, with me, your bewitchingly beautiful host, Sabrina Sitri! *applause* *cheering*”
“That’s obviously canned applause and cheering…”
“Shhh, Kuro.”
“We have some exciting special guests for tonight’s show. Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce…”
“Hyahahahaha.”
The camera cut to one of the pundits for tonight’s program. I saw the huge frame of the geezer, towering above the whole set. His Qiang wasn’t too far out of the shot either.
“I-it seems that you are really excited for appearing on the show Earl Paimon.”
“Oh? I was told that my son in law would be on the panel today, where is he girl?”
“T-the Seir House refused our invitation to attend tonight’s show.”
I looked toward Seir with a bewildered expression, he winked at me and returned to watching.
“Hyahahahaha, well I did promise the old vixen that I’d appear on this show at least once.”
“R-right, tonight’s show is sponsored by Asmodeus Corp, remember everyone, there’s…”
“Pffft, why am I not surprised?”
The camera focused on the guy sitting next to the geezer. He was wearing an expensive looking grey suit and his tie was an interesting patterned type of material. He had a short afro and a trendy short beard. His skin was shiny mocha brown and he had smokey grey eyes. I’m sure he was the kinda guy that would make Miyabi swoon.
“It comes as no surprise to me, that Prince Seir didn’t show up tonight, he is a coward afterall...”
