《Re:Spider》Cluster of Yellow

"tap tap tap" I tapped the thick layer of yellow thread or whatever it was, all whilst in constant fear of being eaten by the huge spiders. I looked down in a fright, only to see a few of them charging after me. "... oooooooh shit I'm dead" I internally screamed, and started hitting the thread wall as hard as I could, which was not so much since I was rather weak at the moment. "riiiiiipppp" ´ý-yes! god forgive, yes!´ i put my hand thingy in the small rip, and started hitting it. "rippppp, ripp" small rips were appearing, and in my blind joy, I forgot that huge spiders were rushing towards me. ´huh?´
I heard a sound right behind me. it sounded like tapping or scurrying on dry ground. I felt a weight on my back. I then saw what was on my back. a giant spider. I froze on the spot. it was rather light, but it was still a huge fucking spider. but unlike what I thought, the spider instead extended a thick brown leg and tapped the rip. I looked at the spider, with a small glint of hope in my eyes. the spider jumped down and started trying to fit itself into the rip. ´hey hey hey, no way that's gonna work, stupid...´ but. "rrrrrriipppppppp" ´t-there might be something to that... let me help you!`i pressed together with the spider, pushing with all my might. "rippp, rippppp" the walls gave out agonizing groans, before giving away.
light streamed into the yellow space filled with excited spiders. I then saw my hands. ´wut´ a pair of golden brown, slender spider legs. in fact, I could even see my back. a huge ball-like thing with the pink insides showing. and a beautiful yellow hue. ´t-this can't be... it cannot!` as I stood in the opening examining my spider-hands, all the other spiderlings started shuffling towards the exit, making tapping sounds. some were stepped on by the other spiders, but since they are so light, it does nothing to the small spiderlings.

´no no no, I have to pull myself together! if I freak out here, I'm dead! ´i reluctantly followed the other spiderlings outside. there, what I saw was something I both did and did not expect. I saw a giant golden spiderweb, spanning across about a meter. it truly sparkled in the moonlight. of course, the other spiderlings didn't show it any thought and happily scurried across it, but I looked at it with sparkling eyes. it had a golden shine, so golden that I thought my eyes would melt. of course, they didn't, but still. on the web sat a hideous, yet very cool creature. it was very slender and had a yellow color. the abdomen had a rusty yellow color, with white spots. on the top, there were eight spots with a black outline, and they were all symmetric. the head part was white on the top and had a few black spots. it looked almost like a skull. the abdomen was really long, making it clear this was not a cute little spider. the legs were long, with black and yellow parts. there was also a little bit of black hair on certain parts.
I stared at the creature in a terrified yet wonderous daze. the spider seemed to be ignoring us, and I snapped out of it. I shuttered a little, before deciding it would be best if I escaped before she ate me or something. ´huh? dafuq is that guy doing?´i looked over to another spiderling, who seemed to be releasing a small strand of silk. ´h-holy shit what the fuck´ the spider then jumped off the web, to its death. or not, he started floating and flew off. ´holy shit, how did he do that??´ other spiderlings started doing that as well, but a few stayed with the mother.

´fucking... I don't know how to release silk! shit, I gotta get away from this place at least... hnnnngg`i made an effort to release the silk, almost as if shitting. it was going shit until, `hmm, what's this feeling...` "sss" I then finally realized the silk. it had a golden color, shining brightly. ´holy shit, I did it... but will this really work? I'd rather not die this quickly...´ i let the strand hand by my abdomen, and let it grow rather long. ´ it either getting eaten by a giant spider or jumping off a cliff... pah, no choice. here we go!´ i took a stance, and charged off the web. at first, i fell ´ OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD´ but then the wind picked me up, and I floated after the other spiderlings.
´d-did I do it...?´

The False Paladin
Divine Paladins, a title given to those who were blessed with the Lord's Favor, are the pillars of the kingdom of Calorin. However, a kingdom cannot simply be built from ideals of honor and duty. Shizuka
A/N: I'm actually writing two stories at once, this and another story on ScribbleHub. I have decided to put Shizuka on hiatus due to some RL issues but my story on ScribbleHub will continue since I'm co-writing it with a friend which is easier. Please do check it out on ScribbleHub. Series name is Walking in Shadows. Four Heroes were summoned from earth to combat an evil threat in Evarenan but there was a fifth person, Hirano Shizuka. She was never meant to be summoned. It was purely coincidental and unintentional. The God who acted as the intermediatery for the summon, has shunned her. Fated to live a harsh life in a foreign world. Abaddon, a Goddess, the Empress of Night, took pity upon Shizuka. Fascinated by the strength of her will and soul, and fond of her humble and accepting character, the Goddess offered Shizuka to be her Champion which Shizuka accepted. A month passed after the arrival of the Heroes and a plus one at Evarenan, the real trials and nightmares of this world had only just begun for our offworlders, especially Shizuka. AN: Shizuka is the sequel to Overture of an Odyssey, which takes place after the events of the latter.

Seriously!DA:https://www.deviantart.com/shadowsinking Twitter:https://twitter.com/shadowsinking?lang=en This story currently has a biweekly schedule (may shift to weekly). Sometimes, I am able to get out earlier chapters. Note: This story is not a typical fanfiction. It is mainly an authentic work. This story only uses monster names/appearances, names of locations and the orb-matching strategy combat system from the app game on android/ios. The rest is original, which means prior knowledge for readers is not required. The app game has no plot, and this work also has no relation whatsoever to the anime aired starting in 2016. The goal was to create a story using these monsters, giving them personalities and purposes beyond just images and stats.
