Chapter-78: Close Door Disciple

It was another normal school day for Naruto Uzumaki. After breakfast, he went to his class. He attended all of his classes with semi-bored expression. After class, he talked to Ikuse or Valentica. And then come back to his home.

Actually, his only mission is attending the class. And Killer B was the one who has the mission to investigate the surrounding of this school.

But there was no significant result. The thing is Jin was hiding the matter of devils from these two.

After that day Gauch didn't disturb Naruto anymore. Naruto thought he had learned his lesson.

"Hey, have you seen Gauch?"

Xavier asked his friends.

"No, I didn't."

The tomboy replied.

"Isn't he is interacting with us lesser than before?"

Rita Khan asked.

"Yeah, who knows what happened to him. He even doesn't talk to me like before. He always seems to be in a hurry."

Xavier frowned.

"Well, everyone has personal space. And I respect that."

Leo White said.

"Yes, when he will feel ok, he will interact with us like before."

Shirin Shura said.

Others also agree with her.

From another side, Naruto was listening to their conversation.

"Well, it has nothing to do with me."

Saying that Naruto stood up and started to leave the class.

"Hey, Naruto PVP test coming soon, who will you challenge?"

One of his classmates asked him. In this class, Naruto was popular because of his strength. Here, Naruto made some friends who occasionally talk with him.

"I am not intending to challenge anyone. Instead, I will take anyone who challenges me, Dattebayo!"

Naruto said with a smile.

"Well, if it is you I will be not that surprised at all. After all, I think you can take anyone in this class."

Hearing his classmate statement everyone looked at him. It was a bold comment in a public place. And it was too late when he understand what he was talking about. He was feeling intense pressure on him.

"Well, now excuse me, I have some work to do"

Saying that his classmates run away from the scene.

After that, all glances were falling on Naruto. Those gazes normal to him after he experienced all the looks of hatred onto him by his entire village. In contrast, the gazes of his classmates were of a competitive spirit. He doesn't mind those gazes.

Among them Leo white was strongly staring at him.

Naruto remembered from today he has to take extra classes from Ruhi Vermillion. Thinking about her Naruto got a headache. That woman is troublesome.

"So boy, you have come."

Seeing him Ruhi Vermillion showed a happy expression.

"Yes, mam! From today onwards I am looking forward to working with you."

Naruto said with a salute. By the way, if you think Naruto was saluting her out of habit this is not the case, to greet an instructor from this Academy you have to salute them.

"As you know I am also the vice head of the magic research department our job will be researching on magic together."

She explained it without more talk and keep it straight while showing a charming smile.

'Oh, today she looks normal.' Naruto thought. Every time he meets her he got goosebumps because he feels like whenever she sees him, she was devouring him with her eyes. It always seems like she has some intention behind those gazes.

"You were impressive in the department test at admission time. So I think there is no need to teach you any basic terms of Magic."

She stood up from her chair and take out a book from the book self.

"It has been a long time I want to research on particular magic. But the thing is I cannot find a good partner to proceed with this research. I hope your presence will help me to research this magic."

Naruto looked at the book that she was holding. It was a book that none other than Jin wrote himself. Naruto searches his memory and remembered about this book. He asked her,

"Why do you think that I can help you with this magic?"

"It is my woman intuition that you can help me."

She replied with an enchanting smile.

'Intuition huh, sounds like a drag to me?' Naruto thought inwardly.

In these days Naruto's thinking process was changed by several folds. Maybe because of wisdom of Jin Tiger into him. So he can take a decision that he never would have made before. Sometimes even Naruto becomes astonished after making those decisions.

"Well, fine by me."

Naruto has nothing to lose not only he has memories of Jin, who is a prodigy in magical research, but also even if he failed, he just merely a student so it is not out of expectation.

After that, she started to work with Naruto in her magic research. And surprisingly Naruto exceeded her expectation. Her impression on him, though this guy looks like a goofy kid, he is surprisingly smart, at least regarding knowledge in magic.

"Say do you know Jin Tiger from your Nation?"

She asked him after the end of the researching session.

"Yes, I know him. We have some past relationship you see."

Naruto honestly replied her.

"That explains it, that's why you are so good at magic. You must have learned magic wisdom from him."

"He is that good?"

Naruto asked her.

"You see that people only can research on the magic that they are expert of to evolving it further, but that guy can evolve the magic by researching that he never can use in his life. He is a prodigy that you can't find In a thousand year."

'Wow.' Naruto exclaimed inwardly because even Jin doesn't evaluate himself that highly.

"And a diamond can find another diamond. I mean you. You are also surprisingly a prodigy in magic, aren't you?"

She praised him seriously.

"I can't say the same thing, Dattebayo?"

Naruto scratched his hair.

"Oh, you don't need to be shy. Because you are good that's why I praised you."

Naruto didn't say anything in return.

"Well, now you can go back to your own work. Come back here tomorrow at the same time."

"Yes, mam!"

Saluting her Naruto left the office.
