Chapter-66: Naruto VS Ruhi Vermillion

Ruhi Vermillion was ready with her sword to face Naruto. Though she is an expert of the fan, she also can use sword sometimes.

In the 2nd physical test, student and instructor are allowed to use their respective weapon. To test their skill with the weapon they are holding.

But Ruhi Vermillion was astonished to see the weapon that Naruto was holding. It was more like a dagger size, but not a dagger. Everyone knows that in the universe of Naruto, it is kunai. But that thing is unknown in this world for an obvious reason.

"I take it, this is your weapon, Naruto Uzumaki."

She asked him just for confirmation.

"Yes! mam! This is my weapon, for now, dattebayo!"

"Dattebayo? What's that? Oh well, are you ready Naruto Uzumaki?"

"I am ready when you are."

"Well then come."

She invited him to fight her. Well, she is the instructor, she cannot make the first move toward a young student.

Understanding that Naruto dashed toward her. And throw his kunai while doing that.

Ruhi barely able to dodge that and some of her hair fall because of the kunai.

'That was fast! I barely saw that.'

Ruhi thought.

'Huh, let me show you my skill.'

Saying that she also move some steps and clashed with Naruto. She slashed her sword toward Naruto's hand, just to avoid injuring vital place because, it just a test, not the real battle.

But Naruto who is from ninja world was able to see it clearly and blocked that sword with another kunai.

He threw a punch toward her. It was really not Naruto's standard punch, because he is trying to holding back. But for his surprise, Ruhi Vermillion blocked his punch with her palm easily.

"Body enhancing magic."

Naruto knew that because the memory of Jin informed him.

"Ho, you knew just because I blocked your punch, you are good at magic, boy."

Saying that she back stepped and threw a flying round kick on him. Naruto blocked that kick crossing his arms on his head and push it upward.

She lost her balanced. Taking that opening Naruto thrust his kunai toward her. But in the last moment, she dodged that by slipping down on the floor and rolled back from that place.

The onlooker was seeing that battle with awe.

"Oi, oi, you can't be serious. She is an advanced ranked instructor. Not only that, she is the cousin of the current Pope of the Holy Empire. She should be stronger than her current rank."

One of the instructors said that.

Most of the students were in agape to seeing that high-level one on one battle. It would be understandable if Naruto's opponent was just another student. But she is fucking damn advance level instructor, how can he battle her like that as if he is already a veteran.

"Just who is that boy?"

Leo White murmured.

"He is strong alright."

The tomboyish girl acknowledged him for the first time.

Naruto again lept forward and attack her with kunai. She successfully blocking those attack. But,

'He is fast. It is taking all of my concentration to just blocked his attack.'

Ruhi Vermillion actually sweating in her mind.

As for Naruto he already got more than five openings to deliver a death blow but he will not do that.

Ruhi Vermillion chanting inwardly the body strengthing magic. In this battle, the only thing is allowed body strengthing magic. But only students 99.9999% time done that, and she may be the first Instructor of Advanced rank who is increasing defense and offense on her body with enchanting magic.

No matter how instructors saw this, this is not merely student vs instructor level fight. It is Instructor vs Instructor level battle.

She dashed toward him with that sword technique.

Every Instructor can skin the weight behind that attack.

"Oh my god, this attack will make me half dead. She became insane. It is true that he is strong, but it is more than the boy can take it. She became insane?!!"

The instructor beside him nodded.

Naruto also stepped forward with his kunai.

When they were two feet distance from each other she slashed her sword toward him creating an arc on his right side.

Naruto tried to defend that, but the sword vanished from his sight.

Naruto knew that style because of Jin. It's not like Jin knows every sword style but he knew that because of a particular reason. This is not magic. This is pure physical strength and speed.

She faints her first attack. Naruto looked at his left, yes the sword is coming while making a similar arc.

He can avoid that attack easily. But if he dodges it there is no comeback for him, because he just want to lose the match, and will be barely in top ten.

He let that sword touch his skin.

And he dropped to the ground while having wound on his left hand and chest.

"Ok, the match is over."

Though she said that, Ruhi Vermillion was astonished inwardly.

'He saw my attack coming, but he let him slashed intentionally.'
