Chapter-49: Eva Iquras

Holy priestess Eva Iquras was twitching after witnessing the individuals in front of her.

One unique stylish woman, one ragged woman, and one floating mummy.

No matter how she sees it they are suspicious as if they popped up from some evil organization.

The most important fact is except for floating mummy, she knows other two.

The stylish one saying to follow her. As if open kidnapping threat.

"Why should you guys also need to take this bi*ch?"

Ragged one complained.

"Who the heck are you calling bi*ch? You vulgar lesbo."

Eva retorted her. In fact, Eva is a gentle and cool-headed woman for everyone except in front of two persons she couldn't handle her cool. One of them is Lina Glass.

"Hmph! Your different color started showing... And are you praising me saying lesbo? To clarify you I am proud because I am a lesbian."

Eva and Lina was the student of the same batch of Tower of Eden. Like Lina, she left the sect after graduation academically. But unlike Lina's silly reason she left because of her family lineage.

Iquras family was well known for the religious family who worships Goddess of Fortune. They also have the bloodline of Goddess of Fortune, unlike two god lineage clans Red Tiger and White Tiger which turn into the battle clan, they turn into a religious clan.

Eva was an excellent magic user among her peerage, so everyone wanted to make her the family head, despite her unwillingness.

"What an unbelievable rotten woman?!"

Eva showed pity face to Lina as if she couldn't save a torch which is about to lit off.

Seeing her pity face Lina wanted to retort back with something but Konan grabbed her shoulder.

She noticed Konan has a scary face, Lina looked at the other way while saying that,

"Hmph, today I will let it go."

Eva was examining Konan from the beginning. She was familiar with her junior in the academy as they work together on many occasions.

"Nina Blue, can you explain, what do you mean by following you guys?"

Konan remembers that she didn't explain to her why they wanted her to follow them, that because of awkward fighting between Lina and Eva.

'What a troublesome group I have chosen.' Konan complained to herself.

"Let me correct myself."

Konan said sharply to Eva,

"I am not the who want you, it's Lancelot JT Pendragon, otherwise known as Jin Tiger is the one who wants you."

Hearing that Eva Iquras eyes become big. Jin was the second person where she shows a different personality than the usual one.

Everyone knows in the academy that Eva Iquras was the first one among all of the girls in the academy who confessed to Jin. She confessed her love in front of everyone in the academy annual ceremony and was politely rejected by him.

It became a legend after that and passed down to the next generation as an unrequired romantic story. [AN: Lol]

When Eva came to her sense, she showed a painful smile in her lips and shook her head.

"Though it makes me happy, It's too late. I am the first in lineage to inherit the family head position. I just cannot accept his invitation at this point."

It was an expected answer for Konan. Eva looked at Konan's eyes,

"But I want to know very much why now?"

Konan didn't reply, because she was expecting another big mouth to run,

"What the heck this rotten woman saying? To clarify you, he also invited me."

It was Lina. Konan said inwardly, 'I can see the ending.'

Hearing that Eva's face twitched.

"What do you mean by he invited you?"

Lina told her with smirked.

Eva Iquras was dirty mouthing which is impossible to believe in the others point of view that it was coming from her mouth. She was holy being for both male and female, vulgar words don't suit him. But rarely few people know that if it comes down to Jin and Lina she turned to 180 degrees.

"W-w-what the heck are you saying? I will never do something shameless like that. In the first place, I don't even love him...."

"Huh! Look who is saying that? You are the one most who didn't let another woman came in front of him. You were known as number one cockblocker in Jin Love Love fan club."

"That legendary club actually once existed, no, wait, I didn't let another woman came in front of him because I didn't want to let cute girls taken by him...."

Hearing that Eva clicked her tongue,

"You are still saying that, but why didn't you going after other cute ladies who were going for the different men other than Jin?"

Cutting down Lina's trembling word, Eva sent the last critical blow toward her.

"That's because you were jealous toward those girls who were taking advantages of Jin and unable to control jealousy you beat him every time they approached him."

Lina's was in utter chaos, she couldn't retort her anymore.

As for Konan, she also knew the hidden feelings of Lina toward Jin, and that is one of the biggest reason she has chosen her.

Because in Konan's theory, the women who loved Jin from the bottom of their love, they will show clear loyalty toward him and will be easy to control. As for Lina even though she beat and taunt him so many times but she never bore evil intention toward him, instead of at some point she showed affection and fall for him.

And as it was said before Eva deeply loved Jin and still does so, as to the point she chose to become Holy Priestess to avoid marrying another man other than Jin and has the intention to remain virgin until death.

"Nina Blue, I make my decision. I will follow you. I must save Jin from this perverted woman no matter what...."

Konan also knew that Eva wouldn't decide to follow her even if she defeated her. That's why she approached roundabout way, used Lina's rivalry to make her jealous because she will not take the fact to well that Lina was chosen before her.

'All according to the plan.' Konan inwardly gave an evil smirked.

Mr. Third Person: By the way, she wasn't the one who choose Guts, it was Jin's plan. Almost all of the girls were chosen by her. Fun fact is all of the women she chose has feelings for Jin, and remained virgins except few widows. What's her plan? In my wild guess her approach matches with a certain short pink haired girl.
