Tayrn pov

"No no no no no! How could this happen?! The infamous Black Dragon defeated?"

After going through so much trouble to finally release his Dragon Form this is how it ends?

"Master I do not believe you should worry. If they wanted to kill him he would already be dead. We still have time to figure out a plan. Besides, Cyril was still young and inexperienced. There was no way he could stand up to those two."

Yes, yes. I still have time to think of a way to get him out.

"This is may be true Ambrogino, but still... That pesky Dragon Elder and his space magic."

"Indeed. Not just anybody can summon The Void."

The Void. A realm where nothing exists and nearly inescapable. If only I could interact with mortals directly, then I could-

"Master, Why do you not simply summon up a portal to the void and get him out?"

"Because, did you ever think that he may go insane just at the sight of us? Heheh we did ruin his second chance at life, remember? No, I'll need someone else to do it for me."

My movements will most likely be restricted, as well. No doubt the other gods have caught on to my plans and informed their champions.

*BAM*

"Perhaps I could help?"

While trying to think of what my next step should be, someone kicks the door to my home off its hinges. Cadmar. The God of War. Always looking for his next challenge and never stopping for anything other than the next opportunity for a War. Doned in head to toe in golden armor, standing at 7ft tall and a rough voice, Cadmar is War personified.

"I have caught wind of your schemes just like all the others. Though, this one seems a bit more threatening than usual."

"You just kicked down my door."

"..."

"Ambrgino. Leave us."

"Yes, Master."

Once Ambrogino leaves, I motion for Cadmar to come and sit at my dining table. Old and rickety just like the rest of this shit hole.

"I see that you still enjoy a grand enchrance. So? Have you come tobring me before the others for judjment? Or...perhaps you would like to aid me?"

"The latter, my friend. Laurent seems to agree with me. After all, what better way to celebrate a victory than with mead or wine?"

Laurent, the God of Wine. Despite being a party animal he has done his fair share of bad deeds.

"Listen, Tayrn. I know not the methods you used to return the infamous Black Dragon to us, but you have my thanks. Now my champion shall finally have a good fight."

"You want Cyril to battle Donovan? Surely this is a joke?"

"Joke? I am no comedian Tayrn. After all, what better opponent for my champion other than the great Black Dragon? You see, Donovan has become quite bored. He's even bored with hunting Titans! Can you belileve it? HAHAAHA!"

"You must be careful with your champion, Cadmar. If he gets bored enough he may even challenge you."

Not every mortal is dumb enough to challenge the Gods. However, if they attain enough power, they somehow think they can kill even a God and deserve to be worshipped as such.

"Well? How do you intend to help? You better not be talking out of your ass Cadmar."

"Mm. You know I, just like all other Gods, have access to the void. After all, you know of all your little "creations" we had to throw in there."

"Oh, come now Cadmar! The cute little beasties didn't deserve to be thrown into the void to waste away and you know it!"

"Very funny, Tayrn. However, I do not see how a thousand-eyed monstrosity that makes others go mad just from a glance of it's hideous face."

I remember making Eriysichthon. Lots of eyes and a whole lots of tentacles. I was going through a bit of a phase at the time, but still something I am proud of. Too bad it died of starvation.

"Now, my plan is to-."

"I can already tell what you're going to say, Cadmar. You will Pull him out of the void and send hime back to the world of the mortals, right?"

"Uh yes. That is my plan."

"The real question is, where are you planning on dropping him off?"

"With my champion, of course! Who better to guard him from danger than Donovan?"

Wait wait wait! So this muscle head's idea is to send Cyril on his merry way with that battle crazed maniac? Ooohh this will be interesting.

"Now I know what you are thinking! Are you insane? Wouldn't Donovan immediately attack him? Well I'm just going to tell him that Cyril is an abandoned child I found and to take care of him!"

"And you think that would work? In what world would that ever work?"

"Do you have any other ideas? I mean, what should I tell him?"

Hmm it shouldn't be too difficult to fool his champion considering Cyril is still only a child. As long as Cyril doesn't go crazy and plays along with this plan. Ugh I don't have time for this! That stupid geezer could put the seal back on Cyril at any moment!I'm running out of time and I can't think of anything.

"You know what? Screw it! I don't have enough time. Just make sure you do not mention me! There's no way he'll play along if he knows that I am involved."

"That's what I thought. Now, I'll be on my way."

Really? That's what you thought, huh? You little-!

Not noticing Cadmar leave due to being lost in thought, I couldn't make a rebuttle in time. I really hate that meat head.

Cyirl pov

Nothing but pure darkness. Am I finally in Hell?

"No. I can still feel this unyeilding anger in me. If only I was dead."

"That is no way for a child to speak. Perhaps I can help?"

A bright light appears from the never ending darkness and out steps a tall figure. He's in golden armor from head to toe. He has this sort of choking pressure coming off of him. It's similar to Tayrn's. Is he a God?

"Piss off. I don't need help from a God."

"Ho~ not even interested what I am the God of? Or even why I have shown myself to a mortal?"

"Don't care. Besides, it's not like our interests would exactly align with eachother. I bet you just want something from me. Kill this person, cause destruction, ect. Why else would you show up infront of the Black Dragon and not make an attept at my life?"

I glare at hime the entire time I am speaking. I truly hate these Gods. They only do things for themselves.

"You're a clever one, I'll give you that. Though, it does not matter if you do not wish to listen. It's not like you can go anywhere."

Ugh why did I have to get caught? I could have just run away and continued killing. But now I have to listen to this guy..

"To start, I am Cadmar, God of War and this is the void. A prison that no mortal can escape without proper knowledge of space magic. I have come to help you escape this place."

"You want to help me escape? What's the catch?"

"Nothing. The only thing I ask in return is that you travel with my champion, Donovan. I feel as though you and him would make great comrades! Also, I believe he is the only person capable of protecting you from the upcoming War you've started."

"War?! How did I start a War?"

"Hahaa! Simply by existing, child! May I remind you that a Black Dragon is the most feared thing in this world? A human who has seen your Dragon form would have surely reported to his King by now and humans love their gossip, so I am certain word has spread to at least the elves."

Just by existing I started a War? That's just depressing! Causing so much death just from being born. Wait wait! I can use this.

My mouth curls into a wicked grin.

If this is true, then I'll have plenty of people out for my head. Then, I'd be able to kill as many people as I'd want!

"You're probably thinking something like 'That would mean people would be after me, so I can murder a whole lot of people.' Right?"

Hit the nail right on the head.

"Well people won't just be after you. They'll be after the Dragons as well. Not that a Black Dragon has appeared, everyone with figure out that they missed some Dragons during that whole genocide after the previous Black Dragon's death and that they repopulated somewhere. So? What do you think happens next?"

"Everyone will also start hunting Dragons."

"Exactly. That is why you must leave this place to guarantee your people's safety. As long as you are not here, people will hunt you and leave the other Dragons be. Do you understand now?"

"I don't really care what happens to my people anymore. As long as I get to fight, then I'll fight."

I say this without stuttering once. I seems to shock Cadmar a little, but he gets over it quickly and continues.

"I see. I would expect no less from the infamous Black Dragon."
