Dear self,
The dream passed uneventfully. Vamera began a sort of song using empathetic moods instead of melodies. It was like the emotional experience of music without any of the sound, if done by an amateur. The big tree I found the precious night had moved to the edge of the burned circle around Rahph.
We returned the communion statue to its owner. It can now be used as an aide in communing with the spirits. We at least made some money back creating that invocation. Another two guys came into the shop today with more artefacts for me to deal with. I think these will be the last two after I actually get to doing them. They also bought a pair of enchanted rings from the shop. One for speaking and one for listening; they will be sharing apparently.
I started manipulating the Oxalis for the evasion cloak. The complex way in which it has to displace the glamour it projects onto an appropriate location means I need to allow it to attune with its user and interpret intent dynamically. The Oxalis will help the item to interface with the user’s aura to figure out how to displace their physical presence. I think I might be able to work a little with planar phasing to enhance the overall utility of the cloak. It will be pretty effective against people incapable of auric piercing when it’s done.
The people the Guild sent to help us have arrived. There were multiple individuals. They were divided between warlocks and wizards so they were ideally capable of banishing an Outer being from the Realm.
They were all from a race of tiny people. Every one of them wore a hooded cloak which made them identical and they kept staying together.

They examined the Interloper and asked me questions to try and figure out why it was only visible to me. They came up with a theory that it acted similarly to ghosts and that it “appeared” through a sort of pseudo mental intrusion. They tested this by having one of them get intoxicated and having some inconsequential mental intrusion cantrips cast on them. It didn’t work so we didn’t learn much. The second theory was that it was related to magic disruption but we figured it was unlikely.
The banishing was outwardly rather simple. The few wizards they had kept a reinforced containment circle around the creature to anchor reality and prevent further intrusion while the warlock thinned the firmament within to let the Interloper fall back into Limbo. We all jointly contributed to a ritual at the same time to invoking the Solacium into guiding our efforts. The ritual was actually the most important part. We could have done it on our own but with eldritch existences a little more certainty is always welcome.
I still had that phantom pain in my leg. Whatever is causing the sensation is highly evanescent and ai’ll just have to tough it out for now.
The Nightgloom essence hasn’t faded from the ambient mana.
Hope we fare well.
Regards,
Me.

Rise of the Realm (Dungeon Core)
Dungeons are probably amongst the strangest creatures in the world, creating vast labyrinths and wonders to explore. This is the story of one such dungeon as he makes his first shaky steps into the world, and all of the horror and majesty he will bring into the world. (This is my first fiction and I would appreciate any constructive criticism) Note: Litrpg elements start around chapter nine, and the story is a little slow at first.
