What does Africa mean to me?

It means hopes, dreams, and family.

When I see Africa, I see a queen,

I see her dancing with might and virtue that is keen.

When I hear Africa, I hear a lion,

a beast on a mission, he roars as he fights.

land bringing forth each woman and man.

When I hear Africa, I know there is something for me,

it’s made of hills, land, and cities.

It’s brewed of colors, brewed like tea.
