《The Joker, The Trickster, and the Magician》Card Kills

This floor, which was drastically different than the rest, was littered with corpses. The nauseating smell of blood and rotten bodies didn’t bother the Trickster, in fact, he became excited every time he laid eyes on a lifeless body, hoping it dropped a Stats card.
After walking for less than three minutes, he looted over 4 Stats Cards. He didn’t crush them on the spot but pocketed them as he wanted to boost his stats significantly in one go.
..
Not only was this floor like a blood graveyard, but the atmosphere was also very different. The unbearable heat forced Wolfram to remove the vest and walk around in the sweaty white shirt. The temperature was several degrees higher than the norm, it almost became suffocating the deeper he went.
He could hear the loud screeching of the imps and the miserable howling of the tortured victims. He slowly advanced, both his hand holding several cards, ready to be thrown at any moving thing that enters his sight.
*[Light Steps] Lv2=>3! +0.25 Card Points.*
Just as his skill leveled up, the cries of the imps grew closer until he could distinguish a few flying silhouettes heading towards him. They didn’t seem to notice his presence and were only searching for potential victims. Before they spotted him, the Trickster moved his hands, magically firing four cards from his right hand.
From an outsider’s point of view, a thrown card can’t possibly kill real monsters yet Wolfram’s cards were sharper and faster than the norm. They weren’t as fast as bullets but they had the necessary speed to hit the imps before they could react or dodge.
There were exactly four imps, however, the man aimed only at two of them. The cards whistled as they accurately hit their target, injuring the monsters’ wings and causing them to fall on the ground, shrieking and wriggling their body, trying to get up.
As the other two imps noticed Wolfram, they had ample time to block the second wave of cards. They waved their red lances around, easily deflecting the cards, then they flew straight at their target, their sharp weapons pointed at him.

The Trickster backed away while retrieving more cards and throwing them at the incoming monsters. He could eliminate the threat using his firearms or physicals strength but he didn’t. He believed that there was a purpose to these cards and if he trained hard enough, he’ll be able to demonstrate absolute powers with only these cards, without the need for external help.
Unlike guns or weapons, he had an infinite supply of cards, they were part of him, basically. That is why he’s trying his best to kill the imps with only his deck of cards.
As he was retreating and throwing cards, he became less precise, nevertheless, because he was bombarding the two imps with cards, some of them managed to hit their target but they did minimal damage.
At least, he reached a point where he couldn’t retreat so he started charging at the imps, which became slower due to the injuries suffered by the cards. He reached them in no time and violently kicked one of them while stabbing it with a card from very close proximity. Though the first two cards weren’t able to cut its throat, the third one caused a fountain of blue blood to splatter on the ground.
Wolfram clicked his tongue and rolled to the side, dodging an incoming red lance then randomly swung his hands around, throwing six cards at once.
The shrieking imps flapped its wings and evaded the first half while deflecting the rest with its weapon. It was at this point of time that there other two imps, which had their frail wings injured, caught up to Wolfram.
He coldly snorted and jumped over the two small monsters. Using their miniature disgusting legs, they charged at him while stabbing with their lances.
The Trickster raised his hand and crushed one of the lances under his foot while kicking the other imp, sending it crashing to the wall on the side.
Wolfram noticed the momentary appearance of a red card which indicated that he obtained a new skill. He ignored it, clenched a card and used all of his strength to throw it at the paralyzed imp before him.

The creature was struggling to free its weapon from the enemy’s feet, so, when the man threw his card, the short distance separating them didn’t leave it enough time to block it.
The hideous monster helplessly looked at the incoming card, which stabbed its forehead, penetrating deep into its skull and causing it to lifelessly fall on the ground.
As he saw such satisfactory results, Wolfram grinned and grabbed the lance under his feet and stabbed it at the imp that just crashed into the wall. The lance impaled the creature on the wall, letting it slowly die as it flailed its limbs.
“Hah! I don’t believe I can’t kill you with my cards.”
The Trickster glared at the remaining Imp, which only suffered minor injuries. His hands already grasping many cards, he threw them at the small flying monster, which deflected them yet again. As it witnessed the death of its comrades, the imp wasn’t as foolish as the imp.
It glared at the cruel human with its horrifying human, opening its mouth and talking with a foreign and unfamiliar language. After it finished speaking, it attempted to turn around and leave only for a bombardment of cards to strike it again. It made use of its aerial agility to escape from the cards, however, Wolfram wasn’t a merciful person.
He pulled the red lance from the dead imp’s guts, aimed at the fleeing monster, took a deep breath then threw it with all of his strength. The red weapon whistled in the air as it vertically flew at its target, which tried to block it only to be hit in its lower body.
The flying lance not only stabbed the monster, but it also pulverized its whole lower body, causing a fountain of blue blood to fall from above. The monster wailed for a few seconds before it lost the energy to even move the remaining half of its body, its eyes slowly closed and its beating heart finally stopped.
After making sure all four imps were dead, Wolfram, feeling thirsty, emptied half of his small water bottle then retrieved the black card to see the logs.

Along with the basic rewards for killing enemies, he looted two stat cards. The Trickster leaned against the wall and took out the other stats, checking them one by one before crushing all at once. Cry of the Mer
Katherine Waters has several goals on her list. Graduate high school, get accepted into an advanced photography course, add another ten meters to her personal free-diving and deep-water diving records respectively. Waking up in the stark, sterile environment of an underground lab, part of a secret and illegal experiment definitely didn't make the list. Nor did discovering not only were mermaids not the stories of legends people thought they were, but advanced genetic manipulation had slotted her for an extreme physical transformation. Faced with an unknown future in captivity, forced to adjust to a new body and lifestyle completely alien to her, with only a psychologically damaged young Mer for company, Katie's life has taken a dramatic turn and she'd do anything to escape it, return home, and regain any sense of the normalcy she lost the moment she opened her eyes.

Isekai'd slave
Edward, a regular guy, is transported to another world at the wrong time and place. Slowly, he adapts, paves his way, and faces whatever misfortune awaits. This is my first work. I'm mostly messing around with different themes/characters. The first few chapters are pretty inconsistent, containing most of the rough experimentation, but if you can get past them - I'm sure you'll have a much nicer time. Do not expect anything of notable quality; however, any advice/criticism/suggestions are greatly appreciated. The story won't involve any dark themes, so no excessive violence, rape, etc. Discord

Forced Development (What does it truly mean to live a fulfilling life?)
To get things started I would like to admit that this story does not bring much new to the table when it comes to the over-saturated Litrpg genre in terms of things like mechanics and power systems. Then what exactly am I trying to bring to the table with this work? A nice slow-paced novel about people maturing and growing older think of it as the re: zero or jobless reincarnation of Litrpgs. A story that tries to take into consideration how a worldwide system would affect the economics and culture of a world. A story that is much more character-focused than the typical heavy progression-focused novels this genre is known for. The RPG system, like any good power system, is there to actually explore the themes of the story and not just as a plot device for characters to get stronger. This is a story where we will see the growth of the Mc from being a baby to when he dies of old age. With plenty of heart-racing actions and intriguing plot developments along the way. Exploring themes like; What does it mean to improve at something and what does it mean to mature as a person? How does magic, the constant threat of monsters and people so much stronger than the average joe that they can destroy countries affect one's culture both on the micro and the macro scale? How people are affected by the culture in general? Generational trauma Nature vs Nurture Talent vs hard work What is morality, society, and people's opinions on both? What does it mean to be human and what does it mean to be alive in the context of a world with multiple sapient species vastly different from one another in basic biology? All these questions are going to be explored from multiple angles using the system as a catalyst for those discussions. So if any of does questions sound interesting to you what are you waiting for, I'm sure you are going to love this story. PS - Chapter come out every Friday at about the same time.
