《Evolution of the Skeleton who walked alone in a Dungeon》Chapter 0013{The Promised One}

[Wait until the arrival of the promised one]
[Time Limit: 3:00:00]
[You are permitted to set traps in the room]
[You are allowed to change the room as you see fit]
I sent my minions to set the traps.
I just sat there staring at the door through which the promised one would appear and use me like a steppingstone for them.
“All those battles, all those hardships, all those dreams for the future. For them to have been worth nothing to me in the end.”
“Was it fate? Was it misfortune? Or was I simply meant to be a puppet, to be used for someone else to rise.”
But be it, fate or destiny, I was not merely going to lay back and think, “what is meant to happen will happen.”
The traps were ready, with no intention to lose. I waited for ‘the one’ to appear.

[Time Limit: 00:00:02]
[Time Limit: 00:00:01]
[Time limit reached: Your opponent was unable to complete all the floors in time]
[Initiating Forced Summon]
The door had finally opened. ‘The one’ who entered through that door, looked like a kid barely 17 years old, with dead eyes.
[Forced Summon Complete]
“HA HA HA hahaha! Finally, after 3000 years, I shall be free!”
“I can finally leave this cursed place and be a hero outside! HAHAHA!”
It was my mistake to think it looked like a kid, his face had a twisted smile, and looked like he was suffering from some kind of psychological problem.
“Now, All I need to do is kill you and look forward to my bright future, HAHAhAHAAAAa!”
“Before we begin, All I will do is ask you one question, why did you come here?”, I gently asked him, I wanted to know how someone other than me had entered this dungeon and why would they enter such a place

“Why did I come here? Of course, it was for power. I needed strength, the power to protect my family, ability to protect my kind and power to kill that cursed demon lord. It said I was the chosen one, all I needed to do was clear this dungeon, and I would be able to obtain what I wanted, but when I entered I simply found myself trapped in a room, even after I killed those wolves and snakes, I found myself trapped in the room.
It just wouldn’t open. I killed every being in that room, but the room still wouldn’t open. I waited and waited, I counted the days, months passed, years passed. I was there all alone. I ate the grass, I ate the trees, I even ate the dirt. The hungry still wouldn’t go away.
After many years, I even tried to kill myself, but my body simply wouldn’t die. The door still wouldn’t open. After 2990 years, the door had finally opened, then I went on killing and killing. I slaughtered the orcs, but the damn lich nearly killed me, Then I got ambushed by the ice elves, and they captured me; they used me as a slave for almost 10 years, but I broke free.
Then I slaughtered them and tortured them, even after all that; I endured and endured, and after such hellish 3 floors, I am finally here. Now, after I kill you, I will finally be able to leave this hell.”
He complained and complained like it was his first time opening his mouth after years.
But the facts he said surprised me, he said only three floors where there. I went through ten floors. Our trails were similar, but it seems to have taken place in a different time and space.

“3000 years, huh, so how do you know that humans are even still alive?”, I asked
“What?!! What in the hell are you talking about?”, he replied while panicking
I knew the humans were still alive as I was summoned by a human necromancer just two years ago, but I had to take advantage of his psychological problem.
“I said, how do you even know the humans are still alive? In these 3000 years, what if the demon lord had taken over the world? What if none of the humans had survived? What if the outside is no better than here inside the dungeon?”, I asked with a solemn expression
“What?? No, no, no, that could not have happened!! What about my luxurious life from now on?? What about the things I had to endure!? No, no, no!! This can’t be happening to me!!!!!!”, he lost it, the psychological trauma was just too much for him
He simply looked too pitiful. Even as his opponent, I felt some sympathy towards him.
“Wait, just 3 floors, that means.”

“To think the one, who I was afraid of was nothing more than a mere weakling, Hahaha, this does bring joy to my face,” I laughed with joy
“What? Who are you calling a weakling, you bastard!?”, he got agitated and gritted his teeth
“With such low stats, how were you even able to kill the orcs and the lich?? But now that doesn’t matter, after all, the one who is going to be free is me.”, I replied in a sinister fashion
“You bastard!!!!!”
He rushed towards me with his swords but….
“What’s happening, why can’t I get closer to you!?”, he asked with a surprised face
“It’s my spatial magic. Even If you run forever, you won’t be able to reach me. Truly pitiful.”
I used ice creations to strike his body with icicles and fill him with holes.
“Humm, immortal body. I see, but that shall pose no hindrance for me.”, I thought to myself
“No, NO! I can’t lose after I had to endure all those things!”
“Endure? No, you got it wrong. Enduring various misfortunes simply makes one stronger, but you, you were simply broken and never tried to rebuild yourself, you endured nothing so, in the end, you obtain nothing”, I replied
"Now, let’s see, your body might be immortal, but your soul is still like a human’s, very vulnerable."

Apocalypse at Mighty Max
God sold us out and the world ended... well, sort of. God may have sold us, or at least, our universe but our world didn't end. Instead, the new owners decided to play, and we all know what that means: Monsters, a System, Magic, Cultivation, and, of course, two new moons! Thanks for reading! I appreciate the interest. This is a rough draft and is intended to flesh out some ideas for a novel that I had. Maybe figure out if I want to do this author thing, you know? If you want immediately OP MCs, fights every chapter, a harem, this is not the story for you. Sorry about that. If you're willing to put up with a long growth curve, an MC that doesn't know what he's doing most of the time but is trying his best both to survive and to help his friends survive, you might enjoy the story. I'm just trying to have fun, maybe create something that in a second draft I can sell on the eBook market. If you're not into that, not into providing helpful comments for revisions, hey, that's cool, but do us both a favor and stop reading now. ** Oh, release schedule For the first weeks, I'll be releasing a chapter (1800-3000 words) a day. Following that, I'll be releasing whenever the mood strikes me. If I get some feedback, the mood might strike me more often, hint! hint!

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).

Beyond the Horizon's Eye
It is less than two weeks after the event known as the Flux Causality, and two days after the Grand Council has put forth the edict demanding the immediate retrieval and deletion of all Stringhoppers. Finding such Travelers, however, is proving more difficult than expected. A young boy and his sister find themselves violently taken from their world to another, and soon thereafter are forcibly separated. Now sold into slavery, the young man must find not only a reason to survive but a purpose to carry him home. The journey has just begun, and the hardest step is always the first one. ~ This is my attempt at both the Xianxia/Wuxia and Portal/Isekai genre of fiction that I love, and the means to provide a story set in such guidelines, while distancing myself from some of the more common tropes. I do hope you enjoy the story I shall endeavor to tell. ~ Average post between 1000 - 3000 words. This is a work in progress, and will be edited and adjusted over time. If you’re interested in something a bit more GameLIT, you might want to check out my second story on Royal Road, “The Dawnfire Archives”. My newest story is a combination of both genres, but with a female main character at the helm. Feel free to check out "The Card Thief of Culnivar"!
