[Quest: Evolve]
When the sounds of battles raged, I woke up. Surrounded by darkness, I raised my hands and stood up from underneath. The first thing I saw was the war going on between the undead and the humans.
When I looked at my hand, I saw nothing more than bones. As I looked at my body, I saw nothing more than bones surrounded by light armor and a small dusty sword in my hands.
As my instincts took over, I started moving forward while dueling with my swords against humans.
As I saw a few people lying injured on the ground with missing limbs, my instincts told me to kill. As I killed more than a few humans lying on the ground, some notifications popped up.

As I looked at my status, I heard a thunderous sound—the sound from the direction where the necromancers and the sorcerers fought. A small light flashed, and a colossal explosion seemed to have occurred.

[Resurrection Complete]
I woke up dizzy in a dark alley. It was dark everywhere. I could neither see nor hear anything; I began collecting my thoughts. I didn't remember who I was. I remembered there was an explosion and I had died there, but somehow, I had survived.

"Who am I? How did I get here?"
With nothing else to do, I remembered I saw my status before dying. I tried to call status, but being a skeleton, I could not speak, but the status popped up anyways.

It seems the title "Servant of the Necromancer" has vanished.
A sound popped up in my head.
New skill [Night vision level 1] learned.
[Night Vision: Allows you to see even in the absence of light]
After that, I began to see the ground below me slightly. I seem to have been in some cave; there was a path in Infront of me. I tried walking. It was still hard to see, but I tried my all and walked ahead. However, there was no end in sight. After some time, the sound popped again in my head.
Skill Evolution: [Night vision level 2]
My vision became more transparent. However, there was still no end to the path. I kept on walking. As I was a skeleton, I neither felt hungry nor felt tired. Hours, maybe days passed. All there was, were brick walls surrounding me. They were white. As time went on, my night vision began to level up.

I don't know how many kilometers I walked, but I kept walking in the hope of finding something.
New Skill [Persistence level 1] learned.
New Skill [Stoic level 1] learned.
[Persistence: Level up to learn more about it]
[Stoic: Level up to learn more about it]
I began to gain new skills but had no idea what they did.
Finally, I had reached the end of the path and found a room. It was an empty room.
Pillars surrounded it, and there was a big giant circle in the middle of the room. I went to the centre, and the ring began to glow.
Ding!
He suddenly heard a robotic sound,
Congratulation, you have discovered a dungeon!
You are the first one to discover this dungeon!
Title: [Dungeon Seeker] obtained.
Clear the dungeon or experience Eternal Solitude
"Huh!!What??"
Then, The ring transported me inside the dungeon. Immediately I heard some sound.
"Squeek, Squeek"
It was the sound of rat-like beasts that were feeding.
I looked around my body. I did not have armor or a sword, unlike before when I had died. I tried to hide but knew somehow, that I had to kill the rats. I had no choice but to find a weapon as killing them with nothing, but these skeleton hands would be tough. I looked around, but there was nothing but stones. I had to use anything that I could find. I picked up two stones that barely fitted in my hands. The rats were still feeding upon the corpse; it was my only chance to take them by surprise. As I went near them, one of them noticed me. However, I just slammed the stone onto it. Then the other rats noticed me, there was still a stone in my other hand, which I used to kill another one of them.

[You killed a Monster Rat]

The last rat had escaped, which was also the best thing for me, as I was barely holding onto the stones. I saw the corpse the rats were feeding on. It was a giant snake that seemed like it had been dead for weeks.

Then I began wandering around the dungeon.
New title [Dungeon Explorer] was acquired.
There were various plants and fruits in the room. However, I had no interest as I was just a skeleton. I began searching for tools to prepare a weapon. The only weapon I could use with my current strength was a rock.
…
I saw a pack of wolves wandering around. I was behind a tree. I tried to fall back, the snake’s skin that I used to cover my body with emitted a foul smell that attracted the wolves. I tried to run; however, three of the wolves attacked me simultaneously with their maws. The wolves tore me in pieces.

Cheep!?
Charles Monroe survived the disappearance of his parents, did his best to hold things together for himself and his sister. He survived when she, too, vanished, leaving behind nothing but a cryptic note. He was devastated, but he kept moving forward as best he could. Cancer didn’t put him down, and after suffering through several rounds of chemotherapy, Charles Monroe thought that things might finally be looking up. That is, until a virulent strain of ebola swept through the city. With his immune system strained as it is, the odds don’t look good for Charles. Now, on the bridge between life and death, he hears a voice claiming to know where his family went. It claims that it needs his help and that it can give him a second life, one far away from all the pain he’s ever known. So, Charles answers as any reasonable person would. He says no. Charles isn't ready or willing to die yet. But, as with everything else to this point, even his choice to keep fighting is taken from him all too soon. With no other option but the dark oblivion of death, Charles chooses to make a deal with the spirit of a distant world that's seeking a wild card in its battle against the gods, monsters, and mortals that threaten its existence. Someday, he’ll find where his family went. Someday, he’ll uphold his end of the bargain and hunt beings powerful beyond anything he’s ever known. Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent
8 521Unlimited Evolution [New]
“If anything can go wrong, it’ll go wrong”—Alex found the truth of this quote the hard way when his Thursday evening was ruined by a blinding golden light. Thrown to war against his wishes, in a world that was not his own, he didn’t even survive the first day. But, death was not his sweet retreat. It was just the beginning. Reborn as an Imp in the hellscape of a dungeon, Alex’s life just got more complicated. In a place where you are food to other monsters and a lump of EXP to humans… survival was nothing but luxury. But Alex will survive. He will squeeze every last bit of potential from his [System] and work his way up the ladder of the food chain until he is strong enough to step out of his prison. The first step to such a lofty goal is to conquer the menace of goblins. Unlimited Evolution narrates the struggles of a young man from earth who gets the short end of the stick even in a different world. After a betrayal that resulted in his death, he wakes as a monster in a dungeon where even his fellow monsters saw him as nothing but food. The story will be a little slow-paced in the beginning and the battles will be calculated, brutal, and short. The litRPG element will be there and the system plays an important role in world-building. I'll try to explore each and every character I introduce as much as I can. Hopefully, I do a good job in that aspect. **I hope you enjoy this book of mine.**
8 603Children of the Sun
Abigaël Chase, an ordinary physicist with an ordinary life on Earth got transported to another world. A world of magic and war, a world where death was never very far. She unexpectedly survived for many years thanks to a hidden power she didn't think she had. The same power that many people, gods and demons alike, wanted to annihilate no matter the cost. Hunted and cornered, Abigaël bet everything on a daring move which nearly ended up in her death. Having acquired a new body, Abigaël must do everything in her power to return to Earth. For Earth was in danger and only herself held to key to its survival. WARNING : It will contain mature content. I checked LitRPG not because there will be game-elements (pop up screen from the "system", the god or something like that) but because of the world mechanic itself (there will be level up, quest/mission, guild, etc?).
8 149Burn Archer
[#1 Romance] [#1 Dystopian]"What's the girl who's being hunted by the entire universe supposed to act like?" Reckless. To the universe, I'm known as a walking bomb.
8 77The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice
The elves are a race that pride themselves in the purity of their blood, in their natural beauty and in their mastery of archery. They love nature and hate those that defile it. Finch is nothing like them. He could care less about nature. The most elven thing about him is his ears and boyish face. He grew up enslaved by racist nobles and escaped the first chance he got. Taking odd jobs to make enough to get by, he honed his skill in the sword and became an adventurer. This is about how his first big assignment from the guild might change the kingdom *This is the first fiction I have ever written, please be gentle.* This fiction is now on pause as I rewrite it. I am also working on another story at the moment. I will rework this story and hopefully improve upon it before I re-upload it. Until then my other story will be taking most of my attention. Thank you.
