Dao and Immortality
Planet of A’U, Liom Era Year 33K-728, Approximately 165 Millennia A.K.I(After Kulfagar Demon Invasion)
In an office on the 96TH floor of a sky-blue skyscraper are two Elven on high class business outfit. On the table are numerous folders and papers indicating how busy they have been for the past two days.
On a normal day, these two attorneys would hand the menial works to their junior associates but the case they received this time is a request handed by the head of regional police. The criminal involved is Core Formation expert indicating how delicate the matter is.
As someone who had been dealing with cases involving cultivators for a long time, they have a wide knowledge about cultivation society and with their rich experience, even without thoroughly looking at a case sometimes, they can already tell who is at fault and they can even predict if they can win the case or not.
However today, they have been handed an unusual case. Too abnormal that it would not exist even in any hypothetical scenarios a law student can think of.
According to the gathered facts, a female Elven idol who had been involved with terrorist kidnapping decided to go on vacation on a coast to the south. The case was just closed and the fiance of the female idol used his family’s wealth to get her on a vacation to the sea and help her forget.
However when their ship is peacefully floating on a calm ocean, a human emerged from the depths of the sea and approached with an unknown intent. The human cultivator approached them despite several warnings and it was then the guards who are cleared to wear Class IV Combat Suits were forced to engage.
The expectation is that the human should have been apprehended but the exact opposite transpired.
Like who would believe that four well trained guards all wearing Class IV Combat Suits were all neutralized by a human with a flick of his finger. A human who is not wearing any weapons incapacitated 4 guards who can fight a Nascent level cultivator.
If the information was not verified, the case would have been immediately dismissed but if that is not crazy enough, the next thing that happened is even more absurd.
The human can only communicate using a forgotten language and after the police force came to rescue, the human raised his hands and agreed to be apprehended peacefully.
He was thrown in one of the most guarded prison facility and after which, even the police force does not know how to proceed after finding out that the man has no records. Even the galactic database has no record of him so the police asked for assistance.

While it is safe to assume that the person is from another galaxy, there has been no sighting of any space ships that would have had suggested his presence in the planet but sadly, they cannot find a single clue. And if there is a clue, it is just something unbelievable.
The supercomputer found one matched and pulled up records dating back to when the Watersmen were called demons. Kulfagar, Dulifica and Ulkwera Demons to be precise. There were three short videos that were pulled up and one of them is human undergoing tribulation and channeled the force of nature to massacre an entire city. The second involves the king of Demons establishing a treaty about their peaceful re-migration. And then finally, a human watching another human being subjected to a barbaric practice of placing someone into deep illusion. There were other records suggesting that this man has Dao powers rivaling god and for the sake of understanding the case, the two still read them.
Even the lowest court will dismiss the case if the evidence submitted were these archives.
To this date, many of ancient records have yet to be validated and many historians have reason to believe that even those three videos were part of ancient entertainment.
Since the criminal was categorized dangerous and must be sealed, and given the circumstances where the criminal has zero identity, the one step that must have been conducted was overlook.
While the laws of the planet are partial even for Nascent cultivators, there is one instance where many of the laws do not apply. And that is if the person involved is a Dao Practitioner.
A Dao Practitioner can rape someone in public and come out innocent. A Dao Practitioner can massacre and entire city and will still be protected by the law. A Dao Practitioner can commit the most heinous of crimes and can still be protected by the Guardians of the planet.
It is the biggest irony of morality. An entire continent or even an entire population can rally and fight for their rights but outside the planet where real power struggle transpires, a Dao Practitioner has the power to order an entire planet to be decimated. Anyone can raise how Dao Practitioners should have their own moral values but the truth is, those true experts of Dao Practice do not give a slightest care about the most reasoned arguments about morality and may even respond to cause someone’s race to go extinct.
*Ring
*Riiiing!
While the two are still busy reviewing piles of files, the phone rang.
“Go for the good news!”
“The blood test is out. You were right. He is a Dao Practitioner. This case is officially dismissed. By the order of law, you two shall purge all documents relating to this matter. You know the drill and thank you again for your time.”

The two attorneys both exhaled in relief. If they have not seen those archives, even they would not have had thought about testing the man’s blood. At least now they can keep their impeccable record about being the best in the industry.
Meanwhile, inside the most guarded prison facility of the city, a human around mid-twenties is currently handcuffed while sitting inside a white room. There are a total of seven metallic band wrapped around his limbs including his neck.
The man currently in isolation is none other than Clay.
Before going into seclusion, he watched how Merea has been put into deep illusion by the Queen of Dulifica herself. He could not remember every detail of what happened but he saw how the protrusion at the back of head of the Queen blossomed and into thousands of multiple flagella which extended and connected to Merea’s head then into the surrounding neural pods. It felt like he was back at the lair of the Goblin he once encountered but he did not have time to care for anything else.
The beauty of the Queen’s methods of placing Merea into an illusion is that there was a projection of what was going on in that dream. He saw how Merea had been raped by one of their family’s trusted guards then later was accused for stealing and was sent to a facility where she was experimented on.
After witnessing the tragedy, he requested that the illusion will be changed to make that guard fall in love with Merea. The rest that transpired was a boring life of a couple but he did watch how Merea became a girl who had been pursued by a knight in shining armor. He watch how she, a maid became Cinderella who even captured the hearts of other suitors. And for almost ten years, he witnessed how Merea became a mother of three kids and died of old age.
Clay admired the ability of the Queen to have had created such a world however when Clay came back to his senses, the Queen had already turned into a stone. He never knew that his request was going to cost the Queen’s own life.
He wanted to make up for his mistakes and continue to revive the demon continent but the instability of his cultivation can no longer be extended. He went to find an island located in the Perishing Sea and meditated but when he woke up, he find out that the island has been submerged at the depths of ocean. Interestingly enough, the Isolation Formation created a space around him protecting him from the pressure of the ocean.
He does not know what happened next or how long had he been in seclusion but when he opened his eyes, all of his spatial rings have already expired except for that one ring which contained the floating island. But the waters around the island is almost dry. Upon further checking, the herbs he planted in the ring looks like they have all reached more than a hundred thousands of years.
He does not know how long have passed but when he resurfaced, he was greeted with a familiar battle suit. He remembered how powerless he was when he encountered the crazy driver back then.
Clay wanted to talk to them peacefully and asked for directions but for some reason, he could not understand their language and the next thing he knew, the guards wearing battle suits came to attack him.
He knew his power as a Core Formation expert is not sufficient to defend so he tried the same trick to place Merea to sleep but he was surprised how the guards fell easily when he exploded a portion of his Qi which is imbued with his Dao.
He was careful not to kill anyone and the next thing he knew, more armored guards showed up. He let his ring drop into the ocean hoping that these messengers of advanced civilization will not investigate where he meditated into.
*Tisshhhh!
Clay looked at the door that just opened. A High Elven with crimson eyes slowly entered. From what he can recall, the cultivator who just entered looks like a descendant of Barnachea and is an Early Core Formation Expert like him.
“Remove those seals and uncuff him. You have nothing to worry about.”
Clay could still not understand what was just said but he felt the metallic band restraining his cultivation “clicked” and fell to the floor.
“Es um melareka esh kalam mu inseshi.”
Clay was hoping the Elven is versed in his language but the man did not respond and turned around and raise his hand creating a gesture as if he wanted to be followed.
He is confident that he can still activate his power even with those restraints and given he cannot feel any threat from the High Elven, Clay stepped forward and followed the man.

All Stats Random
Un-reality, the greatest game in the century just launched and Chris starts to play it. He wants to change his circumstances, which are through no fault of his own. But fate doesn't let it be that simple. He gets a hidden unique class, but that class has a special ability, one that randomizes all his stats whenever it wants? What? The world truly can't be fair to him. Not even in a game. Now he has to figure out a way to make this odd quirk of his class work. When he smiles, the world loves him. When he laughs, the world fears him. (and that was my stab at trying to imitate those chinese synopses) Regular chapters, once or twice per week. On the weekends usually. I will finish this novel, be it takes 1 year or 2. It will get a proper ending. Afterall, the ending is paramount. Also, the readers might feel rewarded if they look closely while reading. I try to be quite mindful and put in interesting details or things that would come into play later. And, personally i think that reviews on this site might as well be pointless. Unless you know the reviewer and think that you share his views. Your thoughts on a particular thing (like a novel) can differ from others. So, do give it a try before arbitrarily deciding. This is my try to perfect the 'master of all/everything' type of MC, inside a proper, realistic VR world, from a game design perspective and immersion and no convenient 'convert gold to irl currency' button. It is going to be a game first of all. Not a fantasy world overloaden with status screens and skills you can't possibly keep track of. A game with all of the real world aspects to it. Not a cheap fantasy world with shoehorned in stats.
