Ending the War III

A gigantic flea-looking beast with six eight metallic like legs that spans at least 200 meters is immobilized and is struggling to move out of a sealing Formation that glued its legs to the ground

*Gssssshhhhhh

PIERCING TIDES!

A snake-looking creature move underneath the beast and guided his ultimate Qi attack towards the softer part of the beast destroying its head.

*Splash!

The beast failed to protect its most vulnerable part and died with its body intact.

*Thud!

The person who delivered the fatal attack was King Vamurus himself. Nearly five days had passed and he had been hunting the minions of the space beasts non-stop. To conserve his strength and to minimize fatality, he must be present when confronting beasts with strength close to Nascent level.

“Anymore of these rankers?”

“My lord, we have a word from central. The Queen is awake.”

King Vamurus did not let his subject finish the report and activated his wings and propelled himself. He wished to rush to where the Queen of Dulifica has received extensive medical care.

Nearly five days ago, Clay was unable to control himself and nearly killed the Queen. After which, Clay made a deal with him that he will kill the main forces of Space Beasts for as long as he will convince the Queen to do his bidding when she wakes up.

King Vamurus had been wanting to convince Clay to help them eradicate the Space Beasts in hibernation but it never occurred to him that Clay himself will proactively volunteer to kill the main forces of the beasts. The only condition is that he must convince the Queen to perform deep hypnotism on a weak mortal.

Upon hearing that the Clay’s asking price was infinitesimally insignificant in return of the Queen’s sacrifice made him hysterical he wanted to torture every Dulifica demon there is. He just can’t fathom how blinded the Queen was when confronted with a god-like existence that he regretted staying in the outskirts of sacred palace of Dulifica when they get to the island.

*Thunder

Vamurus ignored the weather. It looks like it is about to rain but his mind is only focused on punishing the Queen. He flew back to the island where Clay rampaged five days ago and when he landed, a few more of his subordinates greeted him.

“Ninety five perfect of her wounds have healed leaving only scars.”

“Is she awake?” Vamurus went straight to the point.

“She’s currently meditating, my lord.” Vamurus’ subordinates stopped at the entrance.

*Bang

King Vamurus waved his hand forward releasing an explosive Qi attack destroying the door and when he had a view of the Queen on her meditative state, Vamurus activated his strength to its full power and disappeared from his spot and when he reappeared, his fist went straight to the Queen’s face.

*Boom!

The Queen was surprised by the sudden attack but was able to form a barrier around her body just in time but the impact has a force of a million cannons throwing her body and created holes upon holes within her chambers until she was sent outside.

“You!”

Not satisfied, King Vamurus materialized his spear and moved instantly to pierce the Queen’s chest.

Boom!

The Queen is still recovering so she is unable to exert her full power but she is able to create enough protective Qi barriers to protect her. The explosive power created another impact throwing off another two hundred meters.

“Do you know your sin, Queen of Dulifica?”

*Thunder!

Deafening thunder was created above the clouds and rain started to drop.

The Queen on the other hand would like to retaliate but when she was about to take out her weapon, droplets of rain bounced on her head and to her body. She ignored Vamurus who is slowly moving towards her and opened her palm to allow more droplets to bounce on her skin and after a few seconds, she looked towards the sky and basked in the rain.

“Do you see how blinded you are?”

Vamurus wanted to launch another attack and release his pent up irritation but seeing the Queen noticed the unusual rain that is infused with Spiritual Qi made him stop.

“I don’t know what your problem is but at least tell me what’s going on?”

“So obvious yet you have to wait for the rain to drop before you notice. You’re unfit to be called a queen.”

King Vamurus would like to answer further but he instead activated his wings and flew towards the sky. His direction is the swamp lands at least 3000 kilometers away from the hibernating space beasts. The Queen did not need to be instructed and followed from behind.

*Swish

The Queen materialized her wings and flew as well leaving everyone around confused.

After half an hour, Vamurus stopped mid air and floated not far from a massive hill spewing thick clouds.

Then not long after, the Queen appeared beside Vamurus. As soon as the Queen arrived, the scales throughout her body moved and automatically opened to allow the pure Spiritual Qi in the area to be absorbed.

“What is this place?”

“Even I don’t know how but this was designed and is being constructed by the request of his Lordship. The improved version of the Formation will be constructed within a year but the heart is already completed and the result is rain infused with Spiritual Qi.”

The Queen’s divine sense spread throughout the area.

The entire mountain is a water volcano and located at the orifice at the center is a hundred meter Frost Laminice Essence Flame. The Formation controlling the Essence Flame is crude but as it only has one function, and that is to evaporate the water infused with concentrated Spiritual Qi.

As she observed further below, she noticed the shape of the gigantic Spiritual Vein that was planted inside the water volcano. As she followed the path of the vein, the more she confirmed how familiar the structure is.

“What happened to the space beasts?” The Queen is confused as and can’t think of an explanation.

“According to his Lordship, the beasts have fused with the Spiritual Veins when they consumed the energy source of our lands. Of the 4 beasts, two have died and the first remain was planted near Ulkwera Regions and is currently being guarded by Ulkwera King himself.”

“Such pure and concentrated Spiritual Qi. Will it last?” The Queen was skeptical about the idea that the space beasts had been turned into Spiritual Beast. Nevertheless, the four unstoppable leaders of the space beasts had already been eliminated.

“Is that really what you want to ask?” There was brief pause before Vamurus released his aura but this time, imbued with his Dao and with an intent to kill. “The other two kings have already agreed to be devoured by your kind. That’s how serious they are to allow another Nascent Dulifica.”

The Queen silent as she watched over the smoke coming out of the water volcano. She recalled how her body was torn and almost squished to death five days. The real reason she did not want to agree with Clay’s request is primarily because of the amount of Mana residue contained with the woman she was asked to perform deep illusion with. If the time needed to perform an illusion is less than two years, then she can still cleanse herself from the Mana corruption effect but anything beyond that means death.

At first, she thought that Clay was only amongst the most talented human cultivator and although the Fire Dao she witnessed initially were as refined as demon kings residing within Muir continent, she still thought that it was barely enough to make an impact when they will be facing the four pillars of the space beasts. Unfortunately, it was already too late when Clay had revealed his true power to her and she almost died.

“I need at least a year to build a safe and functional neural pods to support the mortal. Would you still be able to buy time?” The Queen did not need further elaboration as to what will happen. The fact that King Vamurus is acting like bootlicker is already more than enough proof they have experienced Clay real power first hand and more importantly, the space beasts that have killed millions of their kind including innumerable Overlords have now been neutralized. The fact that Clay did not eradicate their kind despite their race having conquered half of their continent is already considered an impossible luck.

Now that the salvation of their kind lies on her final sacrifice, there is not even a need for discussion.

“We have enough working neural pods located within the Kulagar Island back at Muir Continent. His Lordship has an unstable temper and I may die on a whim. Allow me to remind you, the survival of our race lies in your hands.”

King Vamurus retracted his aura and left.

Meanwhile, on a cave overlooking a valley, Clay is caressing Merea head who is lying on his arms. After feeding her a fruit given to him by Ver Sosa, he forced Merea to slumber again. This is the fifth time he has done it and every time he has to wake Merea up to give her sustenance, Merea would just keep uttering the same words which is to satisfy a man’s desire.

Clay does not know how much longer can he endure. The truth is, his cultivation needed to be stabilized with secluded meditation but for the sake of Merea, he was willing to sacrifice everything.

Five days ago, he almost turned the Queen into a pulp but regretted it five three seconds later. After which, Vamurus appeared and it was then he thought about using him to convince the Queen and in returned he will eradicate the main forces of the space beasts.

Vamurus did not refute and immediately agreed so Clay went to hunt the threat that has plagued the continent for thousands of years.

At that time, Clay was only focused on killing the so called space beasts and when he found the hideouts of the first two overlords, he only spread his aura shaped it into thin blades and chopped everything as far as his aura can reach.

When he moved to the third location of the space beasts, it was then he realized that he will need to help rebuild this continent. Space Beasts are like ants. The main body is like the queen and has the ability to reproduce thousands of minions and along the process, these beast have consumed everything in their paths including the main source of the continent’s energy which is Spiritual Veins.

After killing the two overlords of the space beasts, Clay was thinking about restoring the Spiritual Qi of the continent and when he was planning to extract the circulation circuit of anyone willing, he suddenly thought why the main forces of these spaces beasts have Dao Powers. As someone who has the ability to see someone on a soul level, he had long known that only those who have souls can pursue and exert the power of Dao.

He activated his Godly Eyes and indeed noticed that the two remaining leaders of the space beasts have souls. Given their massive size and their sturdy exoskeletons, there was no need to extract their circulation circuits and directly converted them into Spiritual Veins. Inspired by the methods of Ul Al’iya Clan back at Gar Wahger Planet, he asked Vamurus to construct a Formation at the center of a water volcano which will then spread the Spiritual Qi within the continent when it rains.

As Clay was about to store Merea’s unconscious body back to the floating island he built on one of the spatial rings, he felt someone approaching and after a minute, a snake like figure appeared at the entrance.

“My Lord, the Queen is ready to place your most precious one into deep hibernation and illusion. Unfortunately, we will have to move here to Kulagar Island back at Muir Continent. I hope his Lordship will understand.”

Upon hearing Vamurus’ report, Clay slowly exhaled in relief and kissed Merea forehead. He thanked the gods for finally answering his prayers.
