Kle In estimated that he has been secretly following the group for almost seven days now. After their encounter, he went to the guild and inquired about Death Qi related cultivation however he was advised he needed to trade with the recruiting sects.

He was barred from participating with the sect recruitments because of his grown up appearance and if that was not bad enough, he even realized the importance of the Qi Crystals as currency. He was reluctant to part with his remaining crystals as it is the only reliable emergency supply he has in his arsenal.

He wanted to trade some of the items in his ring, but changed his mind after recalling the recent ambush from the powerful cultivators he killed. It was all due to luck that he survived. He might get attacked during his most vulnerable moment. He decided to follow the group he previously met and hope to convince them later.

Evening is about to come and the group decided to camp. He is on a hill overlooking the camp at least five hundred meters. He crushed a few leaves to extract the rich Qi essence to recover a portion of his strength. Kle In looked at the bonfire of the camp and contemplated on how he could apologize and convince them to part with their cultivation technique and secret practice.

After at least fifteen minutes, he noticed something abnormal on the camp he was looking at. He could not any see movements as if it has become completely stationary picturesque. When he activated his divine sight, he could not locate any soul on the camp. He suddenly felt a faint killing intent and when he looked into the direction it came from, he noticed a member of the group slowly approaching him. He estimated the man is a Peak Late Foundation Establishment level.

"Humans usually cloak themselves when tracking their prey. Such boldness. Do we look that weak?"

Kle In felt he was surrounded but the companions of the Elven in front of him but those people has yet to reveal themselves. He kowtowed with his fist in apology.

"I hope these friends will not misunderstand my…"

Before he could even finish his sentence, the man in front of him summoned a sword and dashed towards Kle In's neck.

Clang !

The sword was deflected and the man immediately retreated but as soon as he stopped, he felt a terrifying Qi Projection shaped into a knife touching the skin of his neck from behind. The man did not dare make a move.

Kle In experienced deadlier sneak attacks and activating his Qi Projections to surround and protect his body has become almost instantaneous. A second after the man attacked, two arrows coming from behind and to his side was deflected as well. He did not want these men to completely misunderstand his presence.

"I come in peace. I have no malicious intent."

"I hope this friend can spare our companion."

Another Elven emerged. Kle In estimated he was the strongest of the group and should be at Early Core Formation. He looked like on his sixties.

"My name is Akwii Krad'u, leader of Akwii clan. If it is our cultivation technique you are after, I can impart what you want. There are other variations within our repository however we do not carry them but if this magnanimous master can wait two days, we are not that far from our village."

Krad'u implored. When the man who they thought can be easily handled activated his power, they have realized how they have always been in his mercy all along. Even if they all fled in all direction, it will probably not take a minute for all of them to be killed. He can only hope this human will spare them.

Kle In spread his Qi projections and grabbed the seven Elvens including their horse and levitated. Since he has offended them anyway, he might as well not be courteous. He will run off as soon as he acquired the techniques.

"Show me where your dwelling is. I do not have the patience to wait another day."

Kle In adjusted his power to the 3rd degree to propel their flight and used 2nd degree to protect everyone using his other meridians. After close to an hour, they descended creating a commotion among the villagers. Seeing that that their leader and his team were lifted by a terrifying Qi Projections, nobody made a move. Kle In followed as Krad'u took him inside a three-story building. The guards did not say anything and were respectful as well.

"You can take any book you like. This shelf contains techniques relating to Death Qi. Our village has little to offer but this esteemed master can take anything that catches his attention."

Krad'u is anxious Kle In would change his mind and wreck havoc to their village. Forty years ago, they were a proud and prominent member of an Elven Alliance. If only the royal family did not kill the main forces backing them and reducing them to a miserable state until today.

Kle In is busy scrutinizing the shelves when he stumbled upon a book with a cover similar to roots of a plant when uprooted. The same image when he forcefully extracted the cultivation circuit of the wild boar and the two magical beasts he used to create a Spiritual Vein Model. When he opened the book, he can only read a few passage as the rest of the scripts are written in another dialect.

Kle In browsed the book and encountered a few images depicting a man and receiving an object that looked like an extracted circuit. He could be sure that this the same as implanting a beast core to the body. He was ecstatic to have already encountered clues to fixing his body.
