When Kle In drank a cup of the Tapa'y Wine, he felt something warm pervaded throughout his body despite the sharp bitter aftertaste. It felt relaxing and comfortable. The feeling was addictive and without him realizing it, he already drank eight bottles in an hour.

Kle In wanted to take this feeling of floating and succumb to sleep when he felt his Beast Cores stirred and became active. He sat in lotus position and meditated to inspect his body. His body has grown and his chest particularly got wider and the cores have increased in size as well.

He carefully observed the changes within the Beast Cores. It looks like a new base is being created within the patterns. Having drawn Formations and seen varying circulation images and derive and predicted the movement of Qi in the nodes, he realized the cores are advancing to a new level. The wine must have triggered the changes.

Kle In inspected the spatial rings including the three which was given to him by Urda. When he broke through a few months ago, he discovered the need of abundant Spiritual Qi is required and he has only been relying on pills. There were many pills in the rings but he only touched what he recognizes based on what he concocted in the past. There are less than twenty five Foundation Breakthrough Pills and calculating the incrementing values when he broke through, he estimates he needed at least sixty to eighty breakthrough pills if he were only to rely on Alchemy.

The first time he looted spatial rings, he noticed white crystals concentrated with Qi. It never occurred to him to use it since his idea of improving cultivation is via pills. He took out ten small Qi crystals and broke them. He could feel the concentration of Qi in the room getting stronger.

His first objective is to get his primary meridians breakthrough to Peak Late Qi Condensation and have it simultaneously break the barrier of Foundation Establishment. While each of his meridians has their own separate spaces, he is anxious that something unprecedented would transpire if one is stronger than the other.

Three hours has passed and Kle In could feel that the circulation is still unstable, however his beast cores were now getting ready to breakthrough even without his guidance. He clenched his teeth and ate six Foundation Breakthrough Pills at once and crushed e at least one thousand Qi Crystals. After a minute, a burst of energy slowly spread throughout his body and he could feel his energy centers stimulated.

A vortex was formed in the room dense with Qi and after five minutes, he felt the surrounding Qi thinned so he immediately summoned another thousand Qi Crystals. The cycle continued a few more times until he resorted to the bigger Qi crystals.

The cabin where Urda took Kle In was near a lake where cultivators would rarely pass by. To be safe, Urda set up a Tier III Isolation and Defensive Formations which was enough to defend from Core Formation Experts and could not easily be detected, but the ripples cause by simultaneous breakthrough of his beast cores still passed through the barrier attracting two cultivators nearby.

Kle In was absorbed in meditation when he suddenly felt strong Qi fluctuations and heard a thunder. He was wary and wanted to get up but he was on a critical juncture of stabilizing his cultivation. After a few minutes, there was only silence so he concentrated circulating his Qi. After another six hours, he felt the circulation has stabilized and became automatic

It was already morning when Kle In opened his eyes. His body was brimming with energy. He extended his Qi to probe what was outside when he found two dead bodies. Upon stepping outside, he noticed six small pillars surrounding the house and two charred bodies. Their uniforms are similar to the robes of two experts he recently killed. He assumed that if Urda did not set up this formation, he would have already been ambushed.

His Qi Projection Hand dug a pit enough to bury the bodies after taking their spatial rings. Kle In was amazed by how stronger he got. The difference between Qi Condensation and Foundation is the Qi capacity and density of the Qi released. With his advancement, he felt his Qi Projections could be extended up to four kilometers.

Kle In looked into his spatial rings. There were originally around twenty thousand small Qi Crystals and less than eight thousand Medium Crystal but now he estimated around less than five hundred Medium Crystals left. His problem now is how to replenish these crystals.

Kle In looked upwards and stretched his neck sideward and mulled about him having less than ten days to live. How he wished Urda was wrong.

Indeed his body is transforming but his sanity remained intact and unlike Death Qi practitioners, he is not practicing the forbidden Qi. His plan now is wait ten days before travelling west and track down any remnants of Ul Al'iya clan for salvation.
