Kle In woke up to the sweet smell of a wine. The aroma was every alluring making the least oenophile drink or bathe or even drown from it. When he came to his senses, he noticed he had been lying on a wooden bed inside a dim room.
Not far from him was a man drinking from a bottle. Kle In did not need to focus to know who he was. The silhouette of a muscular arm was enough to identify who had been taking care of him. Seeing the man woke up, the man spoke.
"I was hoping to bury a client and take all his possessions. I guess I have to wait a few for more days."
Urda threw a spatial ring to which Kle In caught with his Qi.
"There are at least ten bottles of Tapa'y wine in there, aged at least a hundred year. I usually drink one bottle when it is worth celebrating. You probably have less ten days left to live." Urda said implying as Kle In only had less than ten days to live.
Kle In took out a bottle and a ceramic cup from his spatial ring and poured a drink for himself. He remembered passing out a few minutes after the surviving the attack. Although he did not feel completely exhausted that time, it was the changes in his body that made him lose consciousness. He was thankful Urda was true to his word and found him.
He did not need to have a mirror to see that the transformation only spared his hands, the area below his ankles and his head. He felt he has gotten taller and the deep wound in his body has completely healed as well. He would like to know why this man is helping him. It is obvious Urda is not after his life. Not even a sign of quid pro quo.

"Why?" Kle In humbly inquired.
Urda cleared his throat but did not respond. He gulped the bottle until it was empty. Reminiscing his past, he was six when her mother was abducted by Blood Moon Sect and his grandpa practiced Death Qi in attempt of vengeance. Years later when he broke through to Foundation Establishment, his first son was born. Who would have thought that his child was abducted again by the same sect eight years later. His wife could not endure the depression and the next thing he know, his wife incorporated Death Qi to her body in attempt to seek vengeance as well.
He crippled the cultivation of her wife and the next five years became his most painful memory. His brother-in-law joined the sect to subvert and exposed the abductions forty years ago but not only did the plan of incriminating the sect end in failure when he tipped off the Alchemist Guild and Royal Family, it also caused an innocent Elven Colony to be obliterated.
He remarried in hopes of burying the past, but the pain haunted him every night. He then realized he can never do anything as a cultivator, but as a merchant, he can only hope that the factions he has been secretly funding would bring him justice one day. He felt pity when he first heard Kle In's plight and wanted to personally help him move on, but fate does not seem to separate his path from his nemesis. He was being honest when he mentioned to Kle In that he would give him a proper burial, but upon arriving on the scene, the most thoughtful gift awaited him. He kneeled and cried in euphoria.
"I planned to corrupt myself with Death Qi and kill as many as Blood Moon Sect members before I die. Because of you though, I do not think I will be doing that anymore and will probably die a senile old man."

Urda got up from his seat and approached Kle In.
"These are the rings of those whom you killed. I took out the gold coins and bank notes as payment for saving your pitiful life. "
Urda handed the spatial rings and took the empty ceramic cup Kle In used and poured a small portion and drunk it in front of Kle In. He poured another cup and gave it to Kle In then summoned a small box from his ring and placed it beside the wine bottle.
"I do not have the courage to watch you completely transform, but if you want me to still give you a burial and honor your grave, you just need to break the talisman inside the box before your last breath." Urda turned around to leave.
"Even I do not know why they are after me." Kle In said before Urda reach the door.
"I have no interest in your pathetic life."
Urda did not look back and levitated and flew off with his beast. He knew it was Kle In who killed the Nascent elders of Blood Moon Sect with those terrifying Qi Projections. Urda smiled knowing he can now live in peace.
With two Nascent elders gone, it is only a matter of time before Blood Moon Sect is coveted by rivaling factions. He wanted to convince Kle In to completely eliminate sect and help him exact vengeance however he did not want to deprive him of his remaining days. He may not live to see the whether or not the sect will be exterminated but knowing that two of their supporting pillars gone is more than enough for him to be grateful and be contented if this what fate has to offer.
He was hoping Kle In would tell him his dying wishes but seeing how young Kle In is, he did not persuade him as it might turn into an argument. He just prayed Kle In would die peacefully.

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.
