《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》60. Obtaining Power VII

There was a slight drizzle last night making the leaves of the trees sparkling with morning dew, a perfect morning to wake up to and enjoy a cup of hot beverage. Inhaling the fresh air would make one feel like he is in heaven, but not for a certain someone living on a cave chiseled on a cliff.
When Kle In thought he could set aside awakening the lightning element meridians, the same thing happened to the last awakening solution he drank which is for wind. Having refined pills, he believed his skill had reached perfection.
He could not accept the fact he made an error in refining the bloodline solutions which in turn disrupted his plan. He could only hope he will not meet anyone stronger.
The sun started to rise. Since he could not awaken the other two elements, he decided to circulate the four sets of meridians and set them all to Peak Early Qi Condensation level. Kle In was not surprise that the consumption this time is higher. He actually had to eat two Advance Qi Enhancement Pills to recharge the other sets of meridians.
Kle In practiced the only offensive technique he knew. If he were a villain and has a villain name, he would be called Doctor Tentacle. He still finds it fascinating that he could move them like it is a natural part of his body.
Although he feels like brimming with strength, he understood very well it is due to having multiple sources of power. If his meridians are taken individually, his strength would be similar to what he was before incorporating Beast Cores to his body. His power lies when the energy created from these individual meridians are combined.
Kle In’s only basis of strength is the sword Qi attack from the young swordsman who injured him. Given he does not have enough data to tabulate and analyze the level of destructiveness, he will call it 2nd degree power since it rivals the strength of his two sets of meridians when combined. When combining three meridians, he will call 3rd degree of boosted power and 4th for four meridians and so forth.

Kle In stored all his items on his spatial rings. He believes it was high time he set forth and leave this place. He did not wear the lavish robes he found on the rings instead he wore the common light brown garments he found from his torturer making him look like a common peon.
When he got down from the cliff, he tested the power of his combined meridian on an incremental degree. He could feel the destructiveness of it when attacking some random boulders. He wanted to test it on a tree but his modern thinking stopped him. Having lived on a digital world, he felt like someone would bash him online once he brings down this huge tree.
Kle In started walking when he remembered the two cultivators who retreated. How convenient would it be if he could fly as well. The two levitated using swords and Dal In used a magic tool that looked like a boat. He stopped his tracks and looked into the spatial rings he looted. He saw a similar raft from the ring of the man who used Qi to suppress him. When he checked these ring before, he was so focused on increasing his strength so he did not find any value with these tools.
Kle In summoned the raft. He used his divine sense to figure where to insert his Qi to power up the formation. He noticed three of locations on the raft. He has no idea how to operate the boat so he tried inserting his Qi simultaneously on all three formations.
Nothing was happening but the boat started to float when he used 2nd degree power. He was so excited but when he boarded it, he had no idea how to make further levitate and fly.
Kle In noticed how demanding magic tools are. He estimated that continuously supplying it with his own Qi will deplete his reservoir in less than thirty minutes. Kle In stopped as he observed the boat. He tried activating the formations individually but the boat only ended up floating mid air and there was nothing else to maneuver it to move.

Meanwhile, while Kle In was experimenting on the magical tool, a Late Foundation cultivator activated a long distance communication talisman and was headed towards his location. When the Nascent Soul expert from Twin River Spirit Sect was not able to find clues of his whereabouts, he had a few men stationed at every town to monitor any magical items of their sect that would give signals only Core Formation Experts of their sect is able to use.
After less than an hour, the Foundation Establishment cultivator arrived where the signal came from. It was a forest near the killing incident. There was no one around aside from a cave on a cliff and from the looks of it, someone had live there not too long ago. He activated a raft similar to what Kle In had experimented with and levitated. After searching the forest, he found a lone teenager following the stream of the river. He summoned two mechanical insects the size of a thumb and launched fireballs as he approached the young man.
It has been around an hour when Kle In stopped and gave up playing with the magical tool and started walking and followed the direction of the river. While he was in thought, he suddenly felt an incoming attack from above. Kle In immediately move from his location and looked around. He saw a flame ball exploded on the ground near him. He activated a Qi Projection Hand to protect him.
Boom!
Kle In saw a man floating on a familiar raft. He did not need to think twice to understand that this man was related to the person he killed. He clenched his teeth and regrets playing around with the magical tool. One of the formations on the raft must have had alerted them.
He was confident he could take down this oppenent as long as he is within thirty meters radius. While his strength can be exponentially increased to the 6th degree power, there is still a limit at which he could activate them.
The man did not attack him again, but Kle In saw him activate a wooden talisman in his hand. Kle In stood on his position for nearly ten minutes now however the man was still afloat maintaining a safe distance.
Kle In is not versed in fighting but the fact that this man has not attacked him yet again means he is probably waiting for reinforcements. Kle In is having a bad premonition so he ran. After around fifteen minutes, Kle In was still being followed. He knew that death only awaits him if this man decided to attack from that distance.
