Kle In took around twenty minutes walking down a hill before arriving at a river. The thick bushes gave him a difficult time passing through so he decided to walk close to the river and follow its flow. He continued to walk until he came across a natural, scenic lake and saw two pairs of lovebirds camping by the side.

He has already been walking for less than an hour and did not plan on exposing or meeting anyone, however when he noticed the clothing of one of the young man from afar was similar to the clothes of his torturer, he felt an indescribable urge to kill them.

There was a possibility that this group of young men and woman would be stronger than him so he could only choose to avoid them. The river is about ten meters wide and just as he was about to cross to the other side, he suddenly heard a familiar woman's voice.

"How did you manage to escape?"

Kle In was shocked they noticed him and how fast someone got close to him. He did not even feel how someone gained distance to his location.

He did not need to see the face of the woman but he was certain it is the same woman who forced him to eat the medicinal soup. Of all people, why would he meet her here?

Kle In pretended to have had not heard the woman and turned and ran upstream. The woman followed and just before she could reach him, Kle In activated his Qi Projection and caught her by surprise. The hand grabbed her and squeezed her to death then Kle In threw her to the side.

"Dego!"

When Kle In started to run, her companions began to follow in pursuit. An Early Foundation Establishment shouted upon seeing their Alchemist caught by a terrifying Qi Projection hand and died.

The man was fuming with rage then released a sword slash imbued with sword Qi and reached Kle In in a blink of an eye. Kle In had no time to evade and used his two hands to cover his face and made a defensive Qi Projection to protect himself from the incoming attack.

Swish!

The impact caused Kle In to be thrown and rolled backwards. Before he could stand up, he noticed a centimeter deep cuts on both his hands a few inches below his wrists. Blood started to drop and worse is that he felt like he could not move his fingers.

"I'll kill you!"

Kle In turned around and saw a young man dashing towards him. It was the same person who release the sword slash. He calmly observed and waited for the young man as it got close to him and summoned the sword he looted from the elderly sword practitioner.

When the young man was at around ten meters distance, he sent out another Qi slash. It was the moment Kle In was waiting for.

Kle In activated his Qi Projection to grab him but as soon as he could apply a force to squeeze the young man, the sword slash reached him.

He reinforced the sword he looted with his Qi Projection to simultaneously defend and attack but the impact still threw him away losing control of the hand that grabbed his opponent.

The young man, together with his sword was thrown to the ground as well. The young man immediately got to his feet and before picking up his sword, he released a flying dagger shrouded with is sword Qi.

Kle In was getting back up and the moment he stood on his knees, a dagger pierce through his leg directly penetrating his femur. If he did not immediately stand up, it should have been his head that was pierced.

When Kle In was thrown backwards and rolled to the ground, he still had his Qi Projection extended activated. His opponent was just faster and nimbler.

Kle In has no other means to attack and can only rely on his Qi Projections so when he saw the young man was about to pick up his weapon back, he did not give him another chance and controlled back his Qi Projection Hand, grabbed him tightly and squeezing him to death like the others.

Everything happened so fast that the other couple who were following chose to retreat when they saw the young man died. They were wary of that terrifying Qi Projection.

They initially thought their brother would come out victorious seeing the opponent thrown backwards, but was still grabbed by the hand after a blink. If only their brother did not madly rush they would have had a better chance winning with team work.

Their brother is a prodigy who has manifested sword Qi at such a young age yet has perished from a random and unknown cultivator during their break. The two did not have talismans they could utilize to send signal but their hideout was nearby they should be able to immediately asked for help. Unfortunately for them, their elder was already killed by Kle In earlier when he escaped.

Kle In saw the two levitated and flew to the direction he originally came from. Relieved that the two did not attack him, he pulled the dagger that pierced his leg. Blood gushed out. Having escaped and survived torture, the pain did not bother him much. He controlled his Qi and used the clothes of his opponent to create a bandage and wrapped it around his legs.
