《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》53. Obtaining Power

Three hours passed and he could not figure out a way to connect the Bloodline Qi Nodes that lit up by ingesting the Bloodline Awakening Pill. Comparing it to the circulation pattern of Mebiline during her awakening, the Bloodline Qi Nodes were like the moon circulating around the earth and both are following the revolution pattern of the earth to the sun. On the other hand, what he had awakened was like Venus. Its revolution to the sun is completely different from the Earth.
He recalled how the baby rabbits acquired Bloodline Qi Nodes then later disappeared. The same exact thing happened to him just now. If there is a difference on this failed awakening when compared to the rabbits, it is that something flickered as if indicating a previous location of a Beast Core. He had a hunch that the reason it disappeared afterwards was because the rabbits were not able to incorporate it within their circulation or more to say, the second beast core was not formed.
When Kle In entertained the idea of incorporating beast cores to the human body, it was for gathering data and has never really planned on doing it. Today however is different.
Other than motionlessly lying on the bed waiting to be soul search, he is willing to gamble on the possibility of acquiring a bloodline. He does not know what Soul Search entails but he has a premonition it will be similar to being offered as a food to a beast like Dal In did to him or worse, tortured again.
Kle In extended his Qi into the ring to retrieve the fist size Beast Core of the Horned Flame Lion. His control of Qi has been perfected to a degree that he could pull a strand of hair or pull out the whitehead of a small pimple so it did not pose a challenge extracting the Beast Core of the beast and hold it in front of him while still lying on the bed.

Then he activated his divine sight to look into the formation patterns inside the core. Though it may look complex, it actually starts with a simple diagram right at the center.
Kle In compressed his Qi and started chipping away the core until it shrank to the size of around one centimeter, enough size just to contain the simple circulation pattern in the middle.
Later, he took out another spatial ring to retrieve a cauldron and Alchemy materials. The pill he ate was his last Bloodline Awakening Pill and he needed to concoct new ones. Kle In knew his limits and understood that he may fail in refining the pill version without an essence flame but the flame crystal should be sufficient to refine a liquid version.
Kle In threw in ingredients after ingredients and controlled everything by relying on this Qi.
After around fifteen minutes, a glass of bluish red liquid was produced. If only his abductors would witness this display, they will probably worship him like a god. He refined the liquid solution while lying in bed motionless.
Kle In ate two Qi Enhancement Pills to recover his strength.
Kle In did not know how much time passed but the effects of drug started to dissipate. He slowly regained control of his body.
Based on what he heard before he was knocked unconscious, it should be right about time for him to be fed with the other half of the paralyzing soup.
Kle In forced himself to get up and sat on the bed. He stored all the materials he summoned earlier back to his ring and at this point, there was only a bottle beside him which he filled with the liquid version of the pill.
Kle In assessed the small red crystal that was left from chipping away the fist size Beast Core from the Horned Flame Lion.
"Clack".
He heard a noise echoed from the hallway indicating the burly man has arrived.
Although hesitant, he opened the lid of the bottle and drank all of it. He has yet to understand if it would have similar effects like the pill he ate a while ago. Kle In could not think of other options to escape but to make himself stronger.

After drinking the fluid, he then forcefully inserted a crystal just right above his sternum.
If his understanding and if he is correct, a connection between the core must be made towards the Qi Nodes for it not to dissipate.
He activated the formation within the crystal and meditated. He had always been baffled about the role of blood in cultivation, but if it does follow the same concept as to how his dantian connects to all his Qi Nodes, the pathway should follow the arteries.
Using his own strength to power the Formation in the crystal, he drew a thin layer of Qi via his arteries connecting it all towards the six Bloodline Qi Nodes that just lit up.
Kle In felt satisfied the connections stabilized by itself. After a minute, he released his control on the Formation inside the beast core.
He was apprehensive with what’s going to transpire so he careful observed what was happening inside him. If anything happens, he will immediately remove the beast core from his body. Kle In noticed something unusual.
Something started to flicker near every Qi Nodes within his body similar to the Bloodline Qi Nodes he awakened but this time not limited on their dedicated positions but every Major Qi Nodes he has.
Since he was not feeling any pain, he allowed it transpire. When all the extra Qi Nodes fully lit up, strands of thin threads grew from the beast core and branched out towards all Qi Nodes.
Kle In could already deduce what was going on. He was not awakening Bloodline Qi Nodes but an entire set of meridians with its center being the beast core and not his dantian.
When all the connections were made, Kle In suddenly felt his whole body aching. Something seemed to have had pierce every muscle and bones in his body. The pain grew at an astronomical rate it felt like a hundred times more painful than his torture.
His initial thought was to remove the beast core but he noticed the sub Qi Nodes were starting to form. Kle In clenched his teeth. Though he does not know what will happen to him while this secondary meridians is awakening or even after awakening, he was certain that only death awaits him if he does not act on anything at all.
Kle In decided to endure this unimaginable pain that pervaded throughout his body.
He was unaware but moments later, his torturer opened his cell.
"Do you want this to stop? All you need to do is tell us everything what happened."
The man looked at the unresponsive Kle In sitting on the corner of the bed as if suffering from stomachache. Afterwards, Kle In rolled and fell to the floor and started convulsing like he was possessed.
The man was still unsympathetic and thought Kle In was pretending to avoid being tortured.
He was getting ready to forcefully pour the medicinal soup into the Kle In's mouth however upon smelling the fragrance oozing out from the jar, he hesitated. Although this medicine is mixed with a drug, it still is beneficial besides the paralyzing effect which fades away after half a day.
The only reason they are feeding it to Kle In was to ensure he enters Qi Sensing Phase which he already did and the other is to make sure his will not escape.
The burly man decided to just tie up Kle In instead and guard him until the Core Formation expert the invited arrives.
After ensuring Kle In was properly tied to the chair, he went to guard outside. He knew the boy does not have the will to kill himself so left.
