《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》52. Death and Despair III

Kle In opened his eyes confused as he got up and sat on a wooden bed. He remembered the pain and the torture he went through. He hoped it was a nightmare but upon seeing his hands and the fingernails that just started growing, he knew he was still locked on the same dimly lit prison cell. The chair he was tied to was on the side of the wall and he could see bloodstains that dried.
When he sighed, he noticed a weird bittersweet after taste on his mouth. As he swallowed, he felt a warm wave of energy spreading across his body. He just realized the Qi Nodes near his navel has been restored.
Most of his wounds have healed although he could still feel a lingering and excruciating all over his body. He tried to ignore it and began circulating his Qi but before he could start meditating, he heard a creaking noise that echoed from the hall indicating a door being opened.
When Kle In heard footsteps, the trauma of unbearable pain took over him so he ran and hold on to the steel bars of the cellar. He wanted to beg anew.
"Please sir. I am willing to do anything. I can refine pills and a arghh.....”
There was a Qi projection knuckles that hit his stomach. Kle In fell on the floor and hold on to his stomach. That strike made him unable to breathe he felt suffocated but after ten seconds, he was able inhale and gasped for air.
He still wanted to beg for his life but the moment he was about to get to his feet, the burly man was already inside his cellar and summoned a bucket of water and dragged Kle In's head into it.
Grgghahh!
Kle In looked like a duck that did not know how to swim. After two minutes of his head intermittently being submerged in water, the burly man stopped and kicked Kle In again to the stomach.

Kle In coughed and groaned and squirmed on the cold floor. Not satisfied, the man picked up Kle In on the neck and slowly applied pressure strangling him. Kle In could not breathe and could not muster any strength to free himself. He held on the fingers that wrapped around his neck attempting to loosen it.
“The scheduled soul search is in two days and isn't it better to just drug him until then.”
A woman was holding a warm bowl of soup. She is Alchemist Dego and she was task to ensure Kle In recovers a portion of his cultivation. She was quite curious how this boy was crippled. The man released his grip and forced Kle In to sit. He then controlled his Qi to open Kle In’s mouth.
"Elder still wants me to make him talk. Just feed him the medicine. I don't want to be late for dinner."
Agda carefully poured the medicinal soup into Kle In’s mouth.
Kle In was powerless against the Qi that was applied on to his mouth extending to his esophagus. When the bowl was empty, his mouth was forced shut to make sure he does not puke. He could only watch in silence.
"I have adjusted the concentration and he should not be able to move tomorrow morning and this is the other half of the medicine." Agda said as she handed a jar.
After the burly man received the jar of medicine, he saw Kle In motionlessly staring at him. As much as he wanted to torture Kle In and hoped to hear a different answer, he stopped himself and made a calculated strike to the chin knocking Kle In out.
When Kle In opened his eyes again, realized he could not move but this time he was not tied to a chair but motionlessly lying on a wooden bed.
Before he was knocked unconscious, he recalled what the woman said about soul search and it must be very important to them that they needed him immobilized and forced him to eat that paralyzing soup. It was probably to ensure that he will not run away.

Kle In was afraid to die. Just thinking about what they did to him already sends shiver to his bones. He does not know why they would not believe him and he does not know how much more can he endure their torture. He refused to lie on his bed and wait like a pig waiting to be slaughtered.
He needed to formulate a plan to avoid his impending doom.
Kle In felt his body revitalized by the medicine. Just like when he was petrified by the rabbits, he could still could move his Qi. He tried circulating his Qi. Since they went through such length to heal his meridians, he will use it to his advantage.
Given all his Major Qi Nodes opened, it only took him fifteen minutes to restore his cultivation. Kle In checked his spatial rings stored in his earring. .He was thankful his plan on hiding his belongings was successful.
Originally, he wanted to create a subspace for him to hide into however he has yet to solve the issue of breathable subspace and on top of that, he had already used up all his spatial forging materials.
While he was going over his items, he noticed the offensive technique Sar Aran gave him. Although he studied it, he never really practiced it, besides it required sub Qi Nodes being opened and he did not want to add more unknown variables while figuring out a way to break through.
Now that he is on this predicament though, there is no place for hesitation and as he must learn this offensive technique now.
Kle In retrieved a Qi Sensing Pill from his ring and using his Qi, he controlled it and brought it to his mouth.
After a few seconds, the entire sub Qi Nodes from his body lit up. When he tried guiding his Qi to open them up, he was surprised how easy it was. He guessed it was probably because of the medicine they fed him to restore his cultivation.
Fifteen minutes passed, Kle In concentrated and with a few tries, he was able to summon Qi projections from random parts of his body like his knee caps, his elbow and even from his nose.
Kle In stopped as he recalled how powerful his abductors were. Having experience the strength of his torturer, he may not even last a second due to the difference in levels.
He knew it won’t work so he looked into his spatial rings again. The only thing useful he could find was the kitchen knife.
While he was thinking how could become stronger in a short amount of time, he suddenly remembered how Mebiline got stronger upon activating her bloodline.
“If only he could acquire one, I might be able to stand a chance. “
Kle In retrieved the last Bloodline Awakening Pill from his ring. He had always been curious what would truly happen once a human with no Bloodline consumes one. He swallowed it without hesitation. Now was not the time to feel wasteful.
Unlike Qi Sensing Pills which would almost immediately lit up all Major and Sub Qi Nodes in the body, Bloodline Qi Nodes would start from a simple dim spark before it completely lights up.
Kle In patiently waited. After a few minutes, six foreign Qi Nodes started to flicker on the same position as his fourth, ninth , seventeenth, thirtieth, fifty-first, and eighty-fifth Qi Nodes similar to Mebiline’s and the baby rabbits’ awakening and similar to how he predicted it.
However the problem is that these Qi Nodes have no connections to his main circulation circuit or dantian.
