《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》41. Even a Genius is Average without Anyone to Compare With

Kle In was inspecting the spatial ring he just forged. It has been five days since he learned about inscribing spatial formation and almost all related materials provided to him was used up. When he tried to perceive the space within the ring, it felt like a huge cylindrical tube with rough edges with a height around seventeen meters and a diameter of around thirteen meters.

He smiled in satisfaction. The first time he carved and created a spatial ring, he was too keen on the steps and the sudden changes of the materials would awe him causing him to lose focus and ended up with a space enough for a single big coin to fit in. The process did not take him less than ten minutes but the Qi consumption is like concocting an Advance Qi Enhancement Pill.

The idea is similar to drawing a simple cylinder. Draw a thin oblong. Then, draw another oblong a few centimeters below and parallel to the first one. Finally, draw two lines from the edges connecting the two figures. Instead of oblongs, Kle In has to paint the geometric figure using a Refined Black Oil on Lantos Parchment sprinkled with Apwag Grinds. Lastly, use Pud't Silver Lizard Blood Solution to connect the figures. When the connection is made, an incredible reaction would take place. The two figures would slowly meet at the center and everything shrinks. Kle In needs to ensure that all outer edges is reinforced with his Qi so that the shape would be retained as it shrinks until all is compressed into a tiny rectangle the length of half a centimeter.

The compressed rectangle is then placed on the dedicated space on the readymade ring with pre-designed formation and coat it with Bangsal'a Solution. When a cultivator drips his blood on the ring, the Bangsal'a Solution would absorb that person's blood and Qi so that only that person can access the space.

On his third successful try, he redirected the heat generated from the formations from the cauldron and then on his fourth successful attempt, inspired by the interconnecting circular formations in the cauldron, he used the same logic to create a spatial ring with a space of three big rooms. He had to go outside and waited night time to complete the final ring.

Carving the formation is not as taxing for him as it did while concocting pills especially with the help of Fire Crystals. However, it does really require a certain degree and preciseness of Qi Control. Kle In estimated that today is the day before New Year.

Kle In basked in happiness brought about being able to carve spatial formation. He wanted to sleep but he cannot help it but praise himself. He can only smile as no one could see his accomplishment. He does not know if he is a genius or not, but recalling the first time he tried opening his Qi Nodes and later on be deemed as talentless, he still wish that his deceased Buaki Gang brothers could see him now.

Kle In was not aware how much time passed when he was distracted by a knock on the door. He got up to his feet and realized it was already morning. When he opened the door to see who it was, he was surprised to see an elderly Elven.

"Master Ulvar would like to have a word with you."

Kle In looked at the gate and saw Elder Ulvar and a human around his fifties. He approached them without thinking much.

"I greet the benevolent Elder for coming to visit. Please instruct this junior", Kle In kowtowed with his hands as he greeted the two.

"This here is a Tier II Alchemist Dal In and is willing to take you in. You will follow him from now on.” Ulvar introduced. Kle In recalled when he had to kneel and bow when he was accepted as a disciple the first time so he did the same.

"It is a privilege to be in your care, master."

Alchemist Dal In was surprised how well behaved the kid in front of him. With an approachable smile he responded, "You will be my first disciple from here on in. Stand up and pack your things. We will buy a few things and leave the city."

Kle In did not have much belonging but he went back to the house still. His paranoia resurfaced again. He has this inexplicable premonition and could not keep it in. Kle In held his breathe then slowly exhaled. Thanks to his recent “life and death” with the rabbits, he find it easier to calm himself.

Just when he thought he was calm, he suddenly recalled when he was sold and caged and his ring confiscated. Kle In knew there was no point in his madness but he thought that it would not hurt if he would be able to hide his spatial rings. Maybe when he is captured again, he would be able to use his pills to bribe someone to grant him freedom.

He thought of ways of hiding spatial rings. He rummaged his memories about how magicians hide things in plain sight. With the size of the ring even if it's used as hair ornament, it would still be found out.

Kle In suddenly remembered the first spatial storage he created. He never made it into a ring. Kle In went into the living room where Aunt Mabna'y and her daughter stayed. There was a bag where they kept their belongings. It did not take him long to find a set of pin on stud earrings.

Kle In compressed his Qi and applied heat to remove the crystal and inserted the failed spatial storage. He did not know if he will be starved again so went to the kitchen he stored the Rabi'y Powder Tea and a few boxes of bread and stored it his main spatial ring and hid the rings into the earring.

He then reinforced the earring with his Qi and pierced the curved helix of his left ear and secured the mini lock. It did not take him less than five minutes to ready himself and went out. Kle In surrendered the original ring which was emptied out and the crest to before finally saying good bye.

Elder Ulvar stood by the gate and watch Kle In and his new master leave. After a minute of silence, he then spoke.

"Patriarch, are we really just going to let them leave just like that?"

The elderly Elven who knocked on the door suddenly transformed.

"You should have an idea how cunning humans are. When you see humans fighting, it is our responsibility as Elven to add fuel to the fire without getting noticed and without being involved."

The patriarch paused. There was bitterness in his eyes.

“Pass down my order. We can buy from humans but no one is allowed to hire them for anything starting today."

Ulvar then recalled how an Elven Clan was uprooted forty years ago without proper explanation. He clenched his fist and thanked the patriarch for not punishing him for his mistake.
