Kle In picked up his cup and realized it is empty. It was his 4th cup of tea since last night. He spent around two hours making sure there was nothing wrong with the way he counted the locations of the Bloodline Qi Nodes, and another two more just thinking about it. Most people would not even bother what those numbers mean but people who pursue science understood very well that even the most beautiful face can be represented by numbers.

The difference between the 3rd and 2nd number, divide it by the difference between the 2nd and the 1st value is 1.6 close to what mathematicians call the golden ratio or at least close to golden ratio. While it is still unclear why the difference in starting points, the succeeding numbers are predictable.

Math is universal a language. It stemmed from the need to understand the world around us. Starting from simple numbers, it developed to more complex numerical expressions and continuously evolves to satisfy our need to comprehend the universe from the infinitesimal particles to vast celestial bodies.

The circulation pattern alone is just an example of geometric figures and while he has yet to establish a working foundational theory behind it, he is able to derive patterns based on logic.

Unlike his previous life where he was born millennia after a unified mathematical discipline was established, he is now faced with a new world and he guessed that he will have to start from scratch on this backward magical society.

Kle In activated his Failed Superman's Eyesight to observe the beasts again. It has been a few hours and the effect of the Bloodline Awakening Pill should have had diminished by now.

He could not believe what he was seeing. The dot representations he was carefully observing seem nowhere to be found. Kle In closed his eyes and reverted back to his regular sight and rested.

After a few minutes he activated his divine sight again. Earlier he thought he was just tired but looking at the mother rabbit and its kittens again, the Bloodline Qi Nodes really were missing. It just vanished while he was busy thinking about new approach to understanding cultivation. He could not accept that such valuable data disappeared right under his nose.

He remembered Mebiline after ingesting Bloodline Awakening Pill, the Bloodline Qi Nodes were retained and partially lit up, but this instance seems to have completely vanished.

Kle In got impatient and his desire for knowledge took over him. He looked at the pile of pills covered in viscous goo on the side. Referencing his knowledge back on earth, he assumed that this was the rabbit's way of preserving its food.

He wants the rabbits to eat the pill again and he wanted it now. He stepped towards the pile.

Just as he retrieved a Bloodline Awakening Pill from the sticky fluid, he felt the mother rabbit came out from the cage. When he turned towards the cage, he saw the rabbit leaped towards him.

Kle In was surprised with the sudden attack and as the rabbit was mid- air, he instinctively stepped to the side avoiding the incoming claw of the rabbit.

Crack!

The rabbit slammed on the wall leaving a visible crack and landed on the floor.

He did not have time to think about his carelessness and threw the pill back to the pile and escape. He was about to run to towards the door but the mother rabbit was faster and immediately appeared in front of him getting ready to attack.

Just like his previous encounter, the rabbit released a white smoke and jumped towards him again. Kle In was panicked and realized he could not evade the rabbit this time. He wrapped his hands with Qi in his attempt to block the attack.

Kle In felt the claws of the rabbit penetrated his skin as he stumbled backwards. The previous incident with the rabbits was still fresh from his mind and although he did not know if throwing a bottle of pills would work, he still retrieved a bottle of pill from his spatial, opened the lid and threw it towards the rabbit.

As he retrieved another bottle, the rabbit’s attention unexpectedly and instantaneously shifted towards the pills.

He was glad it worked. He wanted to take advantage of the occupied rabbit and escape but the moment he took a step, he realized his body slowly getting paralyzed. He was not aware he just inhaled the smoke emitted by the rabbit.

Kle In stood there petrified. The smoke was not as thick like the last time and he could see the rabbit collecting the pills and stacking it towards the pile. He could not move at all and he hoped the rabbit would not attack him on this state.

When the mother rabbit finished stacking the pills, it turned and slowly approached him.

Kle In regretted being careless the second time. He forced himself to calm down and sighed as he waited for his impending doom.

Kle In deactivated his Qi to relax. He knew he would die any moment now. He thought about how unfortunate he had been. It was such a waste being reincarnated and not being able to live life to the fullest. He smiled as he reminisce the short time he has lived. At least he got to eat something nice and tasted a fake coffee again.
