《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》31. Qi in Fauna

"Young Master, these are called Langa'y Rabbits. It's a Tier One Magical Beast and they are the least harmful we could find at the moment. If this does not satisfy your needs, we could certainly look for a stronger beast however young master may need to hire a tamer the stronger the beast becomes."
Kle In is looking at caged the rabbits. They were brought to his residence at dawn and he asked them to be placed in the underground storage room. Although he only asked two, as usual Aunt Mabna'y brought seven. According to Aunt Mabna'y, their meat is not edible but their fecal matter is good fertilizer for mushrooms. It is interesting to note that their fur is olive green and there must be a very good evolutionary factor as to why they cannot be eaten but that's not why he asked for these beasts.
Kle In activated his Failed Superman's Eyesight to observe one of the rabbits. According to what he knows thus far, cultivators have dantian but Magical Beasts have Cores. Beast Core is where animals gather and store their Qi and this defines the overall strength of a beast.
"While these rabbits seem docile, they have a strength similar to Mid or Peak Early Condensation Realm Expert. There is a box of Galis'a Powder beside the cage to make them fall asleep if you need to force them to eat pills."
While listening to Aunt Mabna'y, he started counting the number of Qi Nodes within the active rabbits near the front portion of the cage. There is a total of thirty-one Major Qi Nodes, more than 46 sub-Qi Nodes, and four Bloodline Qi Nodes.
All of their 31 Major Qi Nodes are lit up and five of the rabbits have fifteen Qi Nodes in circulation and the other two have eighteen which corresponds to a Mid and Peak Early Qi Condensation. Similar to cultivators, the number of Major Qi Nodes involved in circulation determines the beast's level of cultivation.

The beasts' Bloodline Qi Nodes seem partially lit up and Kle In wonders if this is natural thing. He recalled that Aunt Mabna'y's Bloodline Qi Nodes only lit up after consuming a bloodline awakening pill. It makes him wonder that despite having no conscious soul, they seem pre-programmed to circulate Qi to gain strength.
"Does Aunt Mabna'y know how magical beasts increase their strength?” Kle In asked.
"Magical Beasts only needs to consume plants, other beasts, or any other resources to break through. Unlike cultivators where we have to constantly guide our Qi using Cultivation Methods. There is rumor that Magical Beasts gains sentience when they reach their peak and cultivate like we do."
He would like to know if the so-called Qi Deviation is also applicable to magical beasts. Recalling thus far, it appears that the magical beasts he has observed to this point have all their Major Qi Nodes lit up.
"Tomorrow starts the year end festival and the commemoration of Elven and Human friendship and there will be displays of magical beasts. I can accompany you tour the city if these rabbits are not to your liking."
Kle In appreciates the presence of Aunt Mabna'y. Though he was a maid arranged to him, he feels slowly being attached to her like a caring mother. He did not mind whether it is superficial or not but as social beings, he still longs for this kind of interaction. He then remembered during his time on earth, workers are entitled to bonuses or day offs during Christmas and New Year season and he somehow felt oblige to reward her as well.
"Withdraw twenty thousand gold coins and consider it your payment for your hard work. Go home and enjoy the festival."
Aunt Mabna'y immediately refused and kneeled to the ground.

"Young master, I do not dare take the money and I have already received a commission to take care of you…"
"I will be very busy in the next few days and I do not want any disturbances. I can take care of myself. Go home for now and you may return next year."
Kle In anticipated her response, so he came up with a reason to force her to leave. It is true he wants someone to take care of his meals but he does not know how long Aunt Mabna'y can accompany her so he might as well compensate her now.
The other reason he wants to send her away temporarily is that he still has some lingering fear from the time Buaki Gang was exterminated. He sometimes has this feeling that death is as if coming. As a modern man, he understood very well that it is paranoia caused from post traumatic stress disorder.
Aunt Mabna'y was reluctant to leave but after seeing him standing before the cage motionless for about fifteen minutes, she finally left.
Kle In sighed after a few minutes of awkward silence. He thought, "Why call me master and struggle to obey my commands.”

Transformers: Heroes
Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universe. A century ago, the eons-old war between the Autobots and the Decepticons suddenly and inexplicably came to an end. Since then, many have gone their separate ways, whilst others still hold onto the bitter memories of war. Now, as Autobots and Neutrals join forces in a new directive to capture every Decepticon still left alive, it appears that the Autobots will finally get their chance to even the score, and defeat their enemies once and for all. But when they become the target of seemingly random, yet terrifying attacks, some begin to realize that the enemy may be much closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined. Author's Notes: While it helps to have a little bit of prior knowledge about the world of Transformers, you don't need to be a Transformers fan to enjoy this story, or even a Decepticons fan! One thing I can say for sure is that it is unlike any Transformers fan fiction you've ever come across. This story aims to explore one possible set of motivations in depth in a setting of ongoing conflict between the Autobots (and, more recently, the Alliance - a collaboration between Autobots and Neutrals) and the Decepticons. Although this story takes a lot of things from the G1 cartoon, it is by no means strictly G1 toon oriented and introduces characters and/or ideas from other continuities (Sentinel Prime, Jhiaxus, Thunderblast and Rook (not the Autobot Rook - the other Rook!). Set primarily on Cybertron and Alternity City, it also deviates from certain key elements common in Transformers canon. For one thing, the general consensus that all Autobots are good and all Decepticons are bad is challenged, and a new meaning to the motivations behind their conflict is offered (which is a recurring theme in my Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universes). Some personalities have been altered from their canonical profiles as a necessity (Megatron being the most obvious example) and developed to a much deeper level than the original cartoon allowed. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading.
