Foundation Establishment Pill
The first thing Kle In did after arriving home was to send the teenagers from Dara Clan to their respective homes. The two were not willing to part so he had to tell them that the test of pill potency has ended.
Since no one was going to take notice of them anyway and are doomed to remain at Qi Sensing Phase, he thought of letting them break through to mid Qi Condensation. In return, they would have all their Qi Nodes opened up for observation. There was no need to further his experiment after Sar Aran pointed out they will experience Qi Deviation given the same condition. As a magnanimous person, he gave fifty gold coins each when they left.
Like his original theory, body constitution should improve as the number of open Qi Nodes increases as it is directly proportional to a cultivator's level as it progresses.
Initially, he thought he should still be able to advance if he was not involving all Qi Nodes during circulation. But this did not seem to be the case. The two were able to advance from Early to Mid Qi Condensation despite the same level of Elemental Affinity. Even he was able to advance as well from Low to Peak Qi Condensation but all of a sudden, he can no longer break through upon opening up all his Qi Nodes.
Although Sar Aran did not specifically said what levels were those who had all their Qi Nodes opened up and experienced Qi Deviation, this should logically imply he needed to have a body constitution comparable to that of Core Formation or Nascent Soul Level by opening up all his Major Qi Nodes which meant he really needed rare herbs and medicine to improve his body constitution.
Since he cannot undo and close his opened meridians, he needed to rethink his plans in earning his freedom. The plan was to become stronger in terms of cultivation but given he does not stand a chance when fighting for resources, his only option now is gaining his freedom.

Later on, he should be able to establish or hire or maybe nurture cultivators to protect him with all the money he can profit through selling pills. He just needed to make sure they are reliable and as long as he does not offend anyone powerful, he should be able to live peacefully. Buaki Faction as an example should still be alive had they not overstepped their boundaries.
Kle In decided to maintain the status of being a trash for now while secretly making trades until he would be thrown away by his current master and then later, live ordinarily. He still needed a back-up plan though in case something unexpected transpires.
Ever since he got a spatial ring, one thing that bothered him is the idea of building a breathable residence inside a spatial ring. For someone who has not seen the outside world, what could be a better hideout when someone lives on a subspace? Kle In made up his mind and decided to refine the pills Deacon Sar Aran in exchange of Formation books and possible materials he can use to craft spatial rings.
Evening the same day, an unexpected visitor knocked. Aunt Mabna'y opened the door.
"Please do come in. I would have to apologize as we do not have much."
"Please don't mind me. I do not plan on staying long. I will leave as soon as you give young master this.” a man bearing a crest from San Ruk Eagle Guild said as he handed a spatial ring.
Kle In just finished dinner when he overheard the conversation. He wanted to receive the guest to show respect, however as soon as he reached the living room, he saw the man already leaving. Kle In received the ring and went to his room.
Kle In inspected the ring and pulled out a book. There was a note pasted saying that he must destroy it after memorizing its contents. The book was twice as thick that from those he previously read. Since he had nothing to do, he began reading it.

Kle In spent two hours memorizing the book containing pill formula. He was mesmerized by the level of difficulty it involved. The idea is still the same, however the time it takes to refine each ingredient and the precise timing to extract the medicine essence takes a lot longer. On estimate, it should take at least less than three hour long to refine the break through pill.
The first three pages introduced the necessary medicines and their properties during refinement. Then followed by alternative medicines as replacement in case one the primary ingredients is missing. If there was something new, then it would be the use of fire crystals.
Kle In retrieved the new cauldron and a piece of fire crystal for observation. Unlike the cauldron he had, this one was a bit bigger and there was a compartment at the bottom where the crystal could be inserted.
When he inserted his Qi into the cauldron and observed it through his Divine Sight, he noticed an additional layer of Formation. He guessed this function was to replace and or reinforce his flame. If not because of this external help, Kle In would immediately give up trying.
His next step was to watch the recording crystals. He injected his Qi on the crystal labeled "first" and a holographic projection came out. He listened attentively.
Kle In was a bit disappointed since the Tier Two Alchemist directly refined the pill within the cauldron. If only the alchemist demonstrated it like how Alchemist Agda presented it to him when he first learned alchemy. He felt the book was more informative, nevertheless he watched until the end.
Kle In decided to continue tomorrow after re-watching the last recording crystal. While he is confident he could try refining one set of ingredient tonight, he wanted to concoct the pill after having properly rested. After all, the ingredients are rare and according to the book, the pill is not normally bought with gold coins but bartered through other cultivation resources.

Ode to Fallen Angels
Jericho, the land of humanity, squirms in pain. Magic has been forbidden for so long in this so called "Age of Silence", that all Arcane knowledge has been presumed lost and irrecoverable, and the echoes of God's Will grow fainter with every passing year. The sight of Demihuman caravans is less frequent every day, as the likes of orcs and elves have learned to no longer beg for help from those who despise them. Clearly, they can expect more from the voracious wild lands than from humankind. Many have succumbed to despair, some driven mad by their fruitless efforts to bring back a Golden Age that they only ever read about in books. And in the middle of it all, in an old chapel lost in the Eastern lands, young Gabrielle lives in complete ignorance. She is another orphan living under the mercy of the Church of the Saints; one bearing the mark of evil in her red hair, the telltale sign of a Witch. In an Age of the Silent, the Prejudiced, and the Hateful, she clings to a single hope: that one day, be it in life or maybe after it all ends, she may find herself forgiven of her sin. The sin of being born.
