《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》24. Bloodline Awakening

Kle In pondered as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. The indistinguishable resemblance on how he looked like from Earth amazes him. He is only six years old yet he looked like ten.
It was probably due to the influence of Qi. Though he is still young, he noticed there are no striking features on his appearance, like your average guy whose name would magically show up on the list when a woman realizes their dream prince charming is not going to show up.
He wondered if he had been in a happy romantic life in his previous life, however his fragmented memories seem to suggest he was a plain loser. He still does not know why he was given a chance to live another life. Looking at his mediocre face, he convinced himself to live a happy and fulfilled life.
Though he felt fine, he spent the whole afternoon lying in bed recuperating. There were no entertainments he could waste his time on or rather he had no one to pester him unlike in the orphanage he came from nor Buaki Gang who pressured him to learn about this world.
He patiently waited for evening and while eating his dinner, he took out a bottle of pill.
"I have some Bloodline Awakening Pills and I would like to your daughter try them tonight” Kle In said as he picked a slice of crispy fried meat.
Aunt Mabna’y did not know if Kle In was teasing them and after a few seconds of silence, she finally managed to speak.
"Thank you, young master but we are deemed talentless within our clan and unworthy of your pills. I could arrange promising geniuses from our clan...”
Kle In cut her short. "I do not plan on revealing what we are doing for now. I hope Aunt Mabna'y will not make it difficult and help Mebiline prepare for an awakening tonight."

There was a moment of hesitation but she agreed anyway. Aunt Mabna'y reckoned it was probably to test the pill potency. If this was poison antidote, she would immediately find a way to declined, however for regular pills, as outer members of the clan, this is probably the best they can ever have.
They went to the living room after dinner. Mabna’y instructed Mebiline to meditate on a space in the living room. It was not long ago since she broke through to Early Qi Condensation. After conditioning herself, Mebiline swallowed one Bloodline Awakening Pill.
Two minutes after Mebiline took the pill, her face twitched indicating discomfort and a slight pain. Kle In activated his Failed Superman's Eye I to see if there are any changes. Upon first look, there seem to be six Nodes sparking and beginning to light up but it is not among the Major Qi Nodes he was familiar with. While it looks like it falls on the position of Major Qi Nodes, it was overlapping when observed closely.
Kle In switch his eyesight to his Failed Superman's Eyesight II hoping for Elemental Affinity to reveal itself, however there was no change on the size and color of her soul.
He patiently waited. Cultivating is dull and boring… and it is much more amplified for someone who is observing it. A few hours passed and the pill effect stared to diminish.
Of the six Bloodline Nodes only three remained lit up. Kle In could feel a different aura and a stronger energy fluctuation emitted from Mebiline. Kle In guessed she awakened her bloodline. Recalling the extra Qi Nodes he saw when he was in a cage and what he saw from Aunt Mabna’y, he finally understood what it means to have a bloodline.
Analyzing the new circulation pattern of Mebiline and the Bloodline Qi Nodes used, Kle In deduced she probably only have up until second chapter or their clan's cultivation technique.

Kle In looked at Mabna'y and realized her Bloodline Qi Nodes were not only lesser but were also partially lit up.
Having witnessed Mebiline's Bloodline awakening and comparing her Qi Nodes and Qi Circulation Techniques to her mother, he was positive this was not the correct way to understand Spiritual Elemental Affinity.
"These are three Bloodline Awakening and ten each of Qi Enhancement and Body Forging Pills to help you and your daughter. She may need to rely on your clan's resources if she wants to further advance. "
Aunt Mabna'y cried and kneeled and kowtowed with her forehead almost touching the floor as she thanks Kle In.
Kle In felt embarrassed again and will probably take him a long to fully integrate with the cultures and ways of this world.
He wished to establish a close relation with the mother and daughter duo like family but every time Mabna’y kneels, it felt more like a master - slave relationship.
He left the two and went back to his alchemy room but not to refine pills this time. He has a new problem and he felt inclined to write them and the walls on the Alchemy room served as his white board. He has saved up a lot of Medicinal Refinement Ashes. He wrote down Qi Nodes, Bloodline, Body, and Soul. After writing a few more items, he sat and stared at what he has written.
If there was something worth noting about Mebiline's awakening, it was that she only opened three Bloodline Qi Nodes and the other half were naturally and partially lit up. Based on his analysis and observations, he deduced that the rest will be opened up one by one per major increase of cultivation level.
He tried to recall the images he saw from his Failed Superman's Eye I and II and sorted out anything similar to Mebiline and juxtaposed them in his mind. While his cognitive and memory had significantly improved, he still wished he had a computer he could enter all these data to be analyzed. Aside from the cultivation or Qi Circulation techniques, there were differences in the color and sizes of their soul.
“Assuming we are all from the orphanage and was all brought to Buaki Gang simultaneously receiving the same amount of resources, is there anything I currently have that they are missing?”
He mumbled, “Well for one, I opened up all Major Qi Nodes.”

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
