Kle In has no idea where he has been relocated to. He was able to observe from the carriage that they passed through a commoner’s residential area and stopped on the last block at the end of the street. His new residence is similar to every two storey wooden houses they passed by and the only thing distinctive on this house are its wide courtyards and the stone walls that was probably built to keep neighbors away.

Without the San Ruk Elven Crest on the gate and the isolation arrays built on the corners, one might think it is owned by a more privileged commoner.

Kle In is staring at his dinner seemingly unable to accept the sudden change shift of his living conditions. Even food seems to torment him. Having tasted the meals from Buaki Gang and the hospitable treatment from the Elvens, his appetite does not seem to have the courage to take a bite.

According to his new arrangement, they hired him a human maid to prepare his meals and clean the house. Kle In is assessing the woman who has just served his meal and who is now busy arranging a few pots. She is a human around her thirties and based on the circulation pattern he saw from his Failed Superman's Eyesight, she should be a Mid Qi Condensation Practitioner.

What's making Kle In curious is the woman's left eye. He remembers the group of people who assessed him from the orphanage has blue eyes, however this woman has crimson left eye and the other, dark brown. His focuses are on the few partially lit up Qi Nodes overlapping her Major Qi Nodes. This is the closest he could get to observe what he saw back in his cage.

The woman's name is Dara Mabna'y, a half-blood from Dara Branch Family. The woman did not talk much but calling Kle In "young master" is making him a little uncomfortable.

Kle In was left alone after his dinner. His maid will only show up to arrange his meals or clean the house. The house is not that big and there is a room designed for alchemy. When he entered, he noticed a few unfamiliar Formations inscribed on the wall and on the floor and he laments he did not receive proper knowledge of it before Buaki Gang has been attacked.

He sat at the center of the room. It puzzles him why was he was relocated. Aside from the alchemy room, there is literally no difference from this house to the isolated residence he came from. He just hopes that the reason is really for him to practice and refine pills.

He took out the cauldron and a few ingredients from his spatial ring. After two months of practice in controlling his flame, he estimates that he is now ready to concoct the most basic of pills, Qi Sensing Pill.

Kle In does not have a master so he can only emulate Alchemist Agda based on what he saw and watched on the recording crystal.

Using his Qi, he took a stalk of Tiger Grass and extracted its essence with his flame as it floats in front of him. The grass slowly charred and a liquid the size of a candy formed after the grass disintegrated, exactly how he recalled it. Kle In smiled as he took the second and third ingredient of the Pill and enveloped them with his flame. He combined the essences together. Medicine Fragrance floated throughout the room. After about five minutes, he concocted his first pill; a failed Qi Sensing Pill like how Agda produced it.

Kle In rejoiced that his two-month flame control practice has awarded him like planned. Kle In rested as he reviewed how he did it. It was relatively simple. At this point, he already guessed why the pill was a failure.

When the pill was being formed, the medicine essences seemed to leak out instead of accumulating at the center and he cannot seem to do anything about it. He postulated that the need for cauldron is probably to keep the essences from leaking out and help form the pill.

Kle In opened the cauldron and inserted his Qi into it. The cauldron looks like a pot around 40 centimeters tall and 60-centimeter radius at the center.

When he investigated inside the cauldron, he noticed interconnecting circular Formations carved within the cauldron including the lid. He was astounded by how beautiful the intricate patterns of this formation. He decided to study more on this subject some other time. In the meantime, he can't wait to observe how this would help him concoct a pill.

Kle In took another Tiger Grass, a slice of Stone Monkey Fruit, and a stalk of Blue River Grass and placed them inside to cauldron. It took him less than 2 minutes to extract each essence and when he combined them altogether, he could feel a small pressure emitted by the formation inside the cauldron and it seem to help him compress the essences into a pill. Kle In concentrated and observed the entire process with his Qi. After around ten minutes, a small pill was formed.

He took the lid up and a hot smoke of medicine essence came out. He recovered a small pill from it. It looked a dark candy wrapped on a semitransparent white marble. Based on the size of the dark cloud at the center of the pill, he guesses that he just concocted a Low Tier Qi Sensing Pill.

While Kle In is satisfied with the result, his focus right now was the step by step process involved during the coagulation of the pill. The truth is that, aside from him summoning his flame and maintaining the intensity of the heat, the pill seems to form on its own. After resting for a few minutes, Kle In took another set of ingredients into the cauldron and continued.

Klein is unaware how much time passed when opened the cauldron to retrieve his fourth Low Tier Qi Sensing Pill. His excitement from earlier has changed into curiosity and critical thinking.

When he rested to recover his strength, his mind was focused on the list of variables involved in the process of concoction of the pill. He knew he just wasted three sets of ingredients to confirm that all he did really is summon and control his flame and the pill was formed.

At that point, he wants to formulate a plan to improve the result before concocting more pills. He just confirmed that the process in producing his first pill was the same on the second to the fourth.

Einstein once said that doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity. After another hour, Kle In knew that innovation and inspiration is not that easy to come so he surrendered himself to sleep.
