It was noon when Kle In was brought back to his residence. He did not immediately start refining pills, instead he tried to recall each step involved in concocting a pill especially the part when Agda said “he will naturally know how to extract essence from herbs” He knows how much he's lacking. He does not even know how to progress in his cultivation, yet he is faced with another mystery in cultivation.
He took the recording crystal out from his spatial ring and injected his Qi into it. He wanted to understand how the crystal works but at this point, he needs to stick to one problem at a time. He watched the holographic projection of Agda refining pills from start to finish. Kle In realized there is no pause or slow-motion option, so he repeatedly played it back until evening.
Kle In did not get any insight, but he knows that any synthesis that involves heat, control is the key. Cooking is a best example. Kle In decided to start with controlling his flame. Similar to inscribing Formations which he never had the chance to apply, one’s Qi control is crucial and rudimentary to anything that involves Qi.
It was a breeze when he summoned flame on each hand, however when he tried summoning a third and a fourth flame, the level of difficulty in controlling the rises exponentially as well.
Kle In decided to rest that evening and set his goal to flame master and starts with a simple exercise of summoning a flame atop each finger.
It has been a few weeks since Kesh'a secluded from her cultivation. She was confident that with the High-Tier Body Reinforcement Pills he got from trading Kle In's tuition that she could break through in a week. However, it is almost her fourth week however she is still unable to break the shackles of Mid Qi Condensation Realm.

She decided to come out of seclusion. While she was walking, she noticed how her fellow Elvens were glancing at her and whispering behind her back. Like any other society, Elvens have social hierarchy which most humans are unaware of. Kesh'a is born commoner and if not of their patriarch's personal recommendation, she would have been schemed and kicked out of their race's cultivation ground.
Keish’a knew that throwing a tantrum would cause commotion among her peers but that is only way because she was confident of being the youngest Elven to break through Late Qi Condensation. She is smart and thought about showing off after she broke through, but now she is beginning to waiver. She was not ready to give up. She decided to seclude for another month.
Two months passed and Kle In has yet to begin refining pills. He was reluctant to start due to limited practice materials coupled with limited knowledge. Since no one bothered visiting him, he poured all his time in controlling his essence flame. Kle In came up with series of random exercises. After having successfully summoned one hundred little flames, his final item on the list is to move these little flames at least ten meters around him.
Meanwhile, Kesh'a came out of her second seclusion and went straight to their clan's library. She was out of pills and still at Peak-Mid Qi Condensation. A week ago, she realized that the issue seems to be with her body. She came to this conclusion after consuming all High Tier Body and Advanced Reinforcement Pills.
Kesh'a is on a dead end. She hopes to find clues within the library and having rummaged the books within the library for five days, the closest answer she could find is Samit Peanit Fruit which could improve one's body constitution. The only problem however is that it very rare that even their clan may not have it.

Kesh'a knew that even with their Patriarch's favorable impression of her, she must follow their clan rules for cultivation allocation.
One major aspect of cultivation is resources. While their specie has numerous racial advantages to humans, they would still need resources like any other cultivators. Their clan has its own history of infighting and over the years, a certain practice was born. The basis of cultivation resources within younger generation less than ten years old is based on the level of mastery one can achieve on their clan's cultivation technique. The other rule is that older generations cannot intervene. Younger generations can only rely on themselves.
Kesh'a was in deep thought when she heard some whispers.
"Maybe the secret to her strength is having a human boy take care of you. Hahaha "
Kesh'a was taken aback. She is aware she needed to fix the issue she caused.
