Kle In was brought to an apprentice discussion area. He was waiting for Alchemist Agda who is now setting up a recording crystal before starting. The room was spacious and if not of the cauldron in the middle, he would have thought that he was in one of the lecture rooms in his previous life.

After five minutes, Agda activated the crystal recordings and asked Kle In to sit near the cauldron. Kle In was distracted with the four crystal balls installed not for from them. “This world has an amazing technology yet why are the living conditions not have a trace of being advanced” he thought to himself when he sat near the cauldron.

"Concentrate on an image of a flame to conjure your essence flame.” Agda casually lifted his palm to materialize his flame and instructed Kle In. He already expected that Kle In will not learn much but since it is being recorded, he wanted to make sure he will not be questioned later.

Kle In naturally followed and unlike his time with Jun Rani, he forced himself to completely focus on this teacher. He was doubtful at first but a small flame slowly formed on top of his hands. Kle In was startled and the flame went away.

"Good. Now, watch closely. Be assured there is a recording crystal set up. I will go ahead show you the basics of medicine essence extraction and pill concoction.

Agda took a six-inch Tiger Grass lying on his side. It's one of the herbs needed to produce Qi Sensing Pill. Agda then summoned his flame to cover the grass. Kle In noticed the grass slowly charred and a liquid the size of a candy seemed to form after the grass disintegrated.

"This is a simple essence extraction. You will naturally know how to extract other herbs in the future."

Agda stopped and allowed the liquid to drop.

Agda then summoned the second and the third herb of the first Qi Sensing Pill formula, a stalk of Blue River Grass and a Stone Monkey Fruit. He sliced the Fruit into three and placed the two thirds to a jade box to preserve its essence, and then he summoned 3 flames, each applied toward the three ingredients. After 3 droplets were formed, he combined them to form a circular liquid as it floats within Agda's flame.

Kle In noticed how vapor continues to come out from it. Medicine Fragrance floated throughout the room. After about five minutes, the circular liquid became smaller as it became solid the size of half a candy.

"This is a Qi Sensing Pill at probably less than 3 percent efficacy. The dark color indicates impurities. This impurity can easily be removed by having a good flame and control. Control is not easily accomplished that's why we use Cauldrons."

Agda then placed 1 set of ingredients inside the cauldron and covered the lid.

"I will do the same thing you saw earlier however this time inside this cauldron."

After around ten minutes, Agda opened the lid and retrieved a pill the size of a candy. Kle In is familiar with the look since he has eaten a lot of these to break through Early Qi Condensation. A round candy with a white hue at the top and bottom of the pill.

"You should be able to sense the Essence of the Pill when all ingredients are combined and the longer it stays within your flame, the more the impurities removed. This is around 30 percent efficacy".

Agda put the pill inside a bottle and place it to the side and took out another set of ingredients.

"This time let me show you how Body Reinforcement Pill is concocted."

Agda summoned for 5 sets of flame to simultaneously extract the ingredients.

"The process is the same. The only difference is the amount of herbs and you can follow the instructions on the book later."

After ten minutes, a Low-Tier Body and Advance Reinforcement Pill were created.

"We have used an Earth class ingredient so we are only able to produce one Low Tier Pill, but by using Heaven Class ingredients, depending on how much Medicinal Essence you can extract, you can produce two to three pills."

After thirty minutes, Alchemist Agda showed how 2 pills were concocted from Heaven Class Ingredients and his lesson ended. He was given one hundred sets of ingredients for Qi Sensing Pill and fifty sets each corresponding the three levels of Qi Condensation Realm.

Kle In lamented on how everything transpired and ended leaving him with too many questions. In a normal setting, one should have a working knowledge before delving into applications yet not only was it rushed, what he was shown now was the practical side of the field.

Kle In remembered he is not allowed to ask questions but he recalled they were referring to Alchemy so he pretended and timidly asked Agda, “I wonder if teacher could guide me about cultivation. Recently, I came across a bottleneck and almost ruined my meridians.”

“It is not that I do not want to assist you and for your own good as a slave to Elvens, you must focus on the things they want you to do.” Agda sympathize and did not elaborate much as he led Kle In outside.

Kle In clenched his fist when he heard the word “slave”. He almost forgot he was bought and he may be treated better now, it is only a matter of time when he will be discarded when he does not prove his worth.
