Feng Ye now is in a vulnerable position. Shira is unconscious. He had lost a large part of the system abilities. Hidden Wanderer, Halo of Recovery, and Shira Takeover are all disabled. As Hidden Wanderer and Halo of Recovery are system abilities, they have been disabled for now until the system recovers via enough energy points (EP).

As Shira Takeover is dependent on Shira’s conscious, it is also disabled until Shira awakens. Thus, Feng Ye can only really depend on his esper abilities consisting of spiritual awareness and his vibration skill tree.

The ability to disguise as another individual perfectly. Limitations: Only applies to the everyday individuals with no peculiar abilities. Upgrading this skill permits host to disguise as individuals who are stronger than the everyday individual. Next upgrade requires 20 AP.

Halo of Recovery (LVL 4 ): DISABLED

The ability to slowly recover from physical and mental wounds. It also shortens the recovery time when host is under abnormal status conditions. (ie. dizziness, unconsciousness, poison). Upgrading this skill increases the rate of recovery. Next upgrade requires 50 AP

Spiritual Awareness (Esper)

Increased mental fortitude. Allows exchange of consciousness and mental communication with others. Allows Shira Takeover condition in which the system controls the host’s body. Under this condition, all attributes (+200%) and all abilities (+2 levels).

Synergize [INACTIVE]: DISABLED

-Triggered by the interruption of the host in the Shira Takeover condition. Allows host to freely utilize and move the host’s body with the Shira Takeover condition in which all attributes +200% and all abilities +2 levels for a duration of 5 minutes. After the duration of 5 minutes, the host enters a period of mental and physical fatigue. In this condition, host can potentially surpass their limitations and reach new boundaries.

Perfect Trance [ACTIVE]: DISABLED

- Triggered by default 90 seconds after the Shira Takeover condition is activated or by active triggering. Shira takes over control of the host’s body and all attributes (+200%) and all abilities increase (+2 levels). In this condition, the host’s entirety enters the most peak optimal condition in which all attacks/defense/movements/mental processes/decisions are calculated in order to maximize the host’s full potential under its current mental and physical limitations. Duration: maximum 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, it will take two minutes for host to regain normal condition and two minutes of mental and physical fatigue.

*The host can comprehend and analyze all movements from the host’s conscious. The host cannot surpass any bodily limitations under this condition.

**The host can interrupt this condition anytime to trigger the Synergize branch ability.

Vibration (Esper): Vibrate/Sonicate objects nearby.

Particle Manipulation -

Vibrate particles causing an increase of movement, controlled movement, controlled temperature (vibrate slower for cooler, vibrate faster for hot)

Magnetic Field Manipulation -

Manipulation of the electric charge of atoms through vibration. As the electric charge of atoms vibrate, the magnetic field also changes. By manipulating this charge and producing electromagnetic waves, a repulsing effect can be utilized.

Sonic charge -

The use of numerous particles vibrating at high intensity and speed to cover a surface.This produces a frequency of sound waves. Striking with this surface results in the release of soundwaves. Surpassing the speed of sound with a quick impact will result in a sonic boom.

Energy Blade -

A condensation of a blade by converting surrounding energy to gather at specific locations. This blade can be referred to as a n energy blade. The energy blade appears to be an extension-type weapon in which it is grasped by a single hand. Using the energy blade requires at least 120 VIT attributes and 100 STR attributes.

Particle Domain -

An area in the host can easily manipulate all particles to easily form or dissemble structures. Structures formed can defy the laws of physics within the domain. Requirements of activation: STR 180, INT 200, VIT 200

WARNING: Using this ability causes a huge amount of stress on the host's body. Using for prolonged amount of time may result in permanent irreversible damage.

Chu Feng only sees that Feng Ye collapses in front of him. He rushes towards him and props him just as he is about to hit the ground. The heavily injured Tsubaki Koi had already retreated and is nowhere to be seen. Feng Ye’s appearance started to change to his normal appearance. He was originally in Shira Takeover form, however, since Shira’s is unconscious, and his Hidden Wanderer ability is disabled, he takes on his original appearance.

Chu Feng who sees this change is a bit shocked by Feng Ye’s appearance, but dismissed this fact after the initial shock as simply an ability of Feng Ye. He does a quick assessment and realizes that Feng Ye is alright, just unconscious with some minor injuries.

Chu Feng checks on the conditions of Wu Ya, Akihiko, Haruta, and Yotsuba. They are unconscious. Feng Ye needs to recover and it isn’t suitable for them to expose their esper status. As Wu Ya and the others haven't awakened their esper shackles yet, they should be fine.

At this moment, while Chu Feng was pondering on what to do next, Wu Ya slowly sobers and awakens. Chu Feng immediately summarizes the situation.

“Hey Wu Ya, Feng Ye is in critical condition- we have just been attacked probably by an S ranked esper with specialization in mind control and mental strength. Could you look over Akihiko and the others until their awaken and we’ll meet back at the hotel? Going to take Feng Ye out of here as it isn’t suitable for us to expose before the public our status.”

“Sure, take care. We’ll see you guys there.” Wu Ya responds as she shows a concerned look at the unconscious Feng Ye with a different appearance held by Chu Feng.

Chu Feng nods and puts his right arm around Feng Ye’s shoulder as he leads him out of the building through a back exit. After walking a few blocks away, Chu Feng calls an Uber to drive directly back to the hotel.

“Hey, what happened to your buddy over there?” A caucasian male Uber driver asks as arrives to pick up Chu Feng.

“Ahh, he had a little too much to drink and is passed out. Haha.” Chu Feng smiles and responds.

Showing an understanding expression, the caucasian male nods and begins to drive Feng Ye and Chu Feng to the hotel. Chu Feng sits in the back with Feng Ye and converses with some small talk with the driver about the city, the weather, whatever bar seems to be good, etc.

Meanwhile, at Aven Institute of Technology, the political war rages on.

In the shadows, a third influence had already slipped into the city and are ready to cause trouble.

Naturally, as the instigators of this political war, this third influence is ready to reap the benefits as a fisherman fishing in troubled waters….

Missing students, stolen technology, and increased crime occurs at an exponential rate. The situation at Aven can be described as a piece of chaotic pot gruel. Residents and students have been advised to stay clear and stay low in their homes, until these troublesome times pass over.

Akeno looks out and oversees the Aven institute of Technology from her office. She sighs.

“Akimichi, I believe it is time to dismiss our student body for safety reasons. Have them integrate into society or go home. This war may last quite some time, and Aven will be badly battered. From the pool event that Feng Ye experienced, it is clear that another influence is ready to make trouble and eyes covetously our tech. The entire world eyes covetously on one side.”

Akimichi nods without a word.

Akeno continues, “If Aven were to fall, our students would definitely be sized. Perpahs, placed on a table and sliced. Every country and organization would favor the best way to increase their abilities and military force… Unfortunately, we are like a gold mine for them. This internal strife will definitely end up ...in an unfortunate manner.”

After pondering for a few minutes, Akeno clenches her teeth. Calling in an emergency student council meeting, a series of calls and notifications were sent.

An hour later, in a large meeting room found in the same building as Akeno’s office, collects a large amount of espers that are ranked at least A+ level. These are executives of the student council and the backbone of the entire Aven Institute of Technology. Some professors and heads of departments are also present. Each have a solemn look.

Akeno stands up from the seat of honor. “Hello everyone, as everyone is aware, the internal strife shows no signs of slowing down…. The board of directors are now adamant to make war… There is an unbalance within the board of directors that such a startling decision had been made.”

She looks around at all the members in the room.

“From the recent event experienced at the pool and several of the campuses, a series of magic - related incidents had occurred. This all points to a conclusion that a third party influence is in the works from the shadows.”

Those present in the room nods.

“They are all happy to see us hitting each other and clashing with the board of directors and are no doubt ready to make trouble. Thus, I believe it is time for us to dismiss the student body. Send all students home / abroad and away from being implicated in this struggle… I really don’t see any benefit of keeping them here… If the situation escalates further, naturally, you all may also leave.”

Akeno sighs.

“The worse case scenario will be that Aven falls from the sky in which case we all dismiss.”

The room is silent as everyone analyzes and ponders deeply on this issue and proposal.

“Wouldn’t we lose a large part of our battle efficiency if we sent the majority of students home?” An executive of finance in the student council inquires.

“We would definitely lose battle efficiency. However, having a protracted war in which we weaken ourselves to be the free prizes for the third party isn’t worth. The best proposal would be we either forfeit our student council authority so that the board of directors can focus on defending against this third party or try to negotiate temporary cease fire.”

The room nods in abundance.

“Any objections?”

Two minutes of silence occurs.

Akeno nods. “Alright, we will start the procedure to start dismissing everyone. Let’s send out mass notices and complete logistics to get everyone even residents out of Aven. All their information must be wiped except their emails / notification addresses. Meeting dismissed.”
