Looking at this young girl in front of him, Feng Ye is shocked. He had just felt the brunt of the attack. It wasn’t a physical one, but a direct mental assault. It was so strong that a physical pain could be felt similar to when one has experienced brain freeze or has a strikingly painful headache.

The young girl creepily smiles at him making Feng Ye a bit confused. Who is this girl? This girl with dark black hair seemed to have some facial features that resembled someone he knew?! How can this be? Her ability is unusually strengthened and judging from her age, this girl can seriously be considered at the peak of talent. Truly someone who had awakened early af and called a gifted one. Someone favored by the heavens and had pulled the lottery winning ticket from the gene pool.

The young girl’s had a petite looking face. If it weren’t for her crazy vision, she would quite cute. However, Feng Ye as a man has no interest in lolis! No FBI needed today.

“I don’t want you though. Who are you?!” Feng Ye questions while he signals Chu Feng to move back and also drag unconscious bodies belonging to Haruta and the others as far as possible.

Seeing Feng Ye’s look Chu Feng immediately rushes over to try to help. As Chu Feng approaches Haruta, Feng Ye also moves with Chu Feng to try to shield any other mental assault this girl may try.

Smiling, the young girl licks her lips. “I am Tsubaki Koi. Struggling is useless. Become mine and you can suffer no longer. The boss has shown an interest and if you submit, you will have extremely favorable prospects.”

“Sorry, I’m not interested in little girls!” Feng Ye’s face twitches. Submit to some little girl who seems to have not even finished highschool? Dafuq?!

“Truly a pity~. I guess you really don’t value your little friends’ state of mind.”

Man, this young one truly is experienced. Better to take initiative than to defend passively. Feng Ye uses his spiritual awareness to immediately attack this young girl.

The young girl’s smiling expression becomes a curved expression of ridicule. “Snort. Showing meager skills before an expert.”

Her eyes become fierce once again. Feng Ye can feel as though he had just taken a smackdown. Although no one has moved physically, he felt as though someone had just pounded his head downwards.

Nearby, Chu Feng is at an even worse state. He literally collapsed onto the floor holding his head. Being overwhelmed by her ability, Feng Ye realized immediately the lack of ability he had in the mental domain. Despite being several heads higher in ability from the normal ability user, facing a specialist- truly he was nothing to speak of.

Clenching his teeth, the only way would be to distract them physically. Naturally, because the girl needed to focus on both Feng Ye and Chu Feng, she wasn’t able to completely breakthrough his spiritual awareness barrier.

Chu Feng’s yin yang eyes had also increases his mental fortitude, thus, he also can’t be controlled and messed with easily. This doesn’t mean exemption from the pain rendered from the shock to each of their nervous systems due to the large amount of stimulus to their brains.

Feng Ye can feel a huge headache along with the large amount of blood pulsing through his head. Clenching his teeth, he bites his lip to use the pain to distract himself from the major headache and over stimulus.

“Chu Feng! Attack together. Go!” Feng Ye yells at the nearby kneeling Chu Feng. Feng Ye immediately dashes towards the young girl who calls herself Tsubaki Koi. Chu Feng dashes from a different direction as he immediately uses Yin Yang Seal.

The young girl dodges Chu Feng’s attack as she makes contact with Feng Ye. The mental assault lightens in intensity as Tsubaki Koi needs to focus on what is happening around her physically. Chu Feng continues to utilize Yin Yang Seal to try to root Tsubaki in place. Unfortunately, his eye movement compared to Tsubaki’s speed isn’t up to par. It is causing her to have to dodge around though.

With Feng Ye’s attack making contact with Tsubaki, the huge mental pressure can be diverted.

Magnetic Field Manipulation - ! Feng Ye uses this ability to repulse his feet off the ground, thus, speeding up his assault. As he makes his way close to Tsubaki, he throws a punch directly aiming for her face. While midair, Feng Ye mutters, “Particle Manipulation - ” to heat up his fist.

BOOM! The fist makes contact. Unfortunately, it was blocked by her forearms, but it still had done relatively high amounts of damage. Tsubaki Koi can be seen sliding backwards from the impact.

Aiming to finish this quickly, Feng Ye uses Magnetic Field Manipulation - once again followed by Sonic charge as he chases Tsubaki who is sliding backwards.

Tsubaki Koi immediately pulls out several daggers and throws them directly at Feng Ye while sidestepping. In midair, Feng Ye is forced to cancel sonic charge which is the use of numerous particles vibrating at high intensity and speed to cover a surface.

He cancels the sonic charge and immediately uses Energy Blade - to cut through the flying daggers. At this time, Tsubaki had dashed adeptly towards Chu Feng.

Chu Feng is startled. Who is this loli?! Dafuq. Moves so fast and so freaking dangerous.

Yin Yang Envelope!

Chu Feng utilizes a new ability he had developed while trying to figure out the proper use of his esper ability. Yin Yang Envelope essentially forms a protective covering over himself. He has to be stationary when utilizing this, however, as he needs to channel his Yin aura that had been absorbed by his eye to form this translucent barrier.

Tsubaki Koi pounds her fist into the barrier, but cannot get through. Naturally, the barrier will prevent Chu Feng from being physically injured. The young girl immediately retreats to the left as Feng Ye also approaches to Chu Feng’s location.

Glancing at Chu Feng, Tsubaki Koi immediately directs another mental attack at Chu Feng. Naturally, his barrier can defend against physical attacks and even some weak ghost involvement. However, this mental attack is on an entirely different level when compared to the newly awakened Chu Feng.

Chu Feng collapses under this direct attack and his barrier slowly shows signs of dispersing.

“Chu Feng! Hang in there!” Feng Ye shouts as he mutters. “Perfect Trance.” Shira’s consciousness takes the leading role as all of Feng Ye’s abilities increase exponentially in calculated efficiency and decision making. Naturally, Feng Ye’s height decreases. His already silver hair grows down his back.

His skin slowly turns pale as his facial features become feminine. Shira’s pair of mysterious golden pupils stares down at Tsubaki Koi.

Tsubaki Koi shows a surprised expression. “Wow! To think you had such an ability! A duo consciousness!” Tsubaki Koi immediately notices that Chu Feng is pretty much finished and immediately directs all her focus and energy on Feng Ye while she initiates a full on mental assault.

She grins as she continues the attack. “Very interesting~ Become mine! Feng Ye!”

An expressionless Shira despite the intense pain caused by the mental attack continues to leap forward. As Shira nears Tsubaki Koi, the intensity of the mental attack only exponentially increases. It seems distance is a key variable as well. The nearer to Tsubaki Koi, the larger the influence of her mental attack.

Feng Ye who is observing as a piece of consciousness can also feel the heartless mental pain.

Feeling the threat rapidly approaching, Tsubaki Koi knits her brows. It seems like this individual’s willpower is really unexpected. However, seeing that this Feng Ye seemingly had two different consciousness within a single body, Tsubaki decides that it is no longer possible to forcibly control him. From the board of directors, her orders are either to control Feng Ye or eliminate.

Thus, the only option is to eliminate….

Tsubaki Koi sighs as her eyes become fierce once again. “Scatter Consciousness!” This time the aura around the entire corridor had changed.

Chu Feng who collapsed on the ground is immobile but can still observe the fight. With his Yin Yang eyes, he noticed a huge accumulation of Yin energy- the baleful energy of ghosts. “Watch out Feng Ye!”

This dark yin energy isn’t visible to the naked human eye. However, Feng Ye can feel its presence through spiritual awareness.

Chu Feng with his ability can see that the yin energy seemed to form a giant reaper’s scythe purely made with the yin energy. With a worried expression, Chu Feng hopes that Feng Ye would be okay.

At this time, Shira had already approached Tsubaki Koi. Using a fist with sonic charge, she punches Tsubaki Koi in the stomach. Tsubaki Koi couldn’t move as she is rooted due to channeling her ability.

The huge massive reaper scythe swipes down as though ready to reap Feng Ye and Shira’s lives.

“FENG YE!!!!” Chu Feng yells.

As soon as Shira’s fist makes contact with Tsubaki Koi, Tsubaki is sent backwards. She also spits out blood. Heavily injured, Tsubaki Koi retreats.

The scythe falls and goes directly through Feng Ye. Nothing happened physically. However, on a mental level at the very consciousness, Feng Ye and Shira could clearly feel the reaping and collection of their very souls.

“Damn! What do we do Shira?!” Feng Ye in consciousness form inquiries Shira anxiously.

“We must split. Let me handle it.” Shira replies calmly.

Immediately, Shira and Feng Ye feel a heartless cut from the reaper scythe directly at a conscious and soul level. Feeling as though he had lost apart of himself, Feng Ye in conscious form blacks out from the pain.

Before the moment of the cut, Shira had immediately pushed Feng Ye’s conscious form away and had let it cut her. Shira’s consciousness becomes extremely weak. Feng Ye isn’t skilled enough at the soul level, thus, she had to take up the responsibility.

At the cost of the system abilities, Feng Ye had escaped a fragmented consciousness and broken mental state. Yes, if that scythe was withstood by Feng Ye… he would be now an empty shell with no hope of recovery.
