“AAAHHHHHHHH!!!” In the pool area, Mito continues to scream as she forces and directs all energy into compressing and continuously forming more spikes on the barriers. Her fingers which were originally forming a frame 『 』 now slowly becomes a triangle △. The triangle is formed by the right thumb of the right hand touching the index finger of the left hand to form the base.The index finger of the left acts as the left wall of the triangle, while the index finger of the right hand overlaps with the thumb of the left hand to form the right wall.

The spectre inside this now triangular prism structure continues to bleed excessively. Despite the vessel losing so much blood, it seems as if it still has plenty of strength to spare as it continues to pound the spikes and the walls. Immediately, another stalemate occurs in which Mito cannot move the barrier walls any closer and the spectre inside cannot move the barrier outwards as well. Now, it has turned into a battle of endurance and attrition.

It is completely unfavorable for Mito, however, she is helpless when presented with this fact. Only if the three goons can be solved, then, this endurance struggle between herself and the spectre should be fine.

While this is all occurring, the three goons already have travelled half of the distance between them and Feng Ye.

“Shira, will I be able to handle these guys?!” Feng Ye anxiously inquiries in his mind.

Shira replies with a frown, “Do your best for now and I will step in immediately and with Shira takeover if necessary.”

Feng Ye had slowly discovered in the past few days that Shira takeover while he was conscious was like watching an AI do an autoplay in those RPG games. He can completely feel the movement, and exquisite use of technique. Literally, precisely calculated attack and defense in its most ideal form within the constraints of his current physique and ability. It is of great benefit as when Shira takeover occurs and Shira is permitted access to his movement and abilities, Feng Ye can observe and also gain insight/experience. He had also discovered that he can step in easily and disrupt Shira Takeover. This, however, would result in the drastic decrease in performance in accuracy, timing, and precision of his movements.

There is only one disadvantage to Shira Takeover which Feng Ye is quite depressed about...The fact that his physique turns into Shira’s appearance… Like wtf.. >.> If he disrupts Shira Takeover, he will temporarily be with Shira’s appearance and physique for around 5 minutes before the ability wears off and he can regain his appearance. If he doesn’t disrupt Shira Takeover, it would take 2 minutes for the ability to wear off. The only issue is the issue of appearance, physique, height. “Ohhhh, the misunderstandings will be quite depressing!”

“Alright..” Feng Ye then focuses on the three approaching goons as he clears his mind from thinking these at sixes and sevens thoughts. Both hands which were clenched as fists due to his nervousness now are quite clammy. His right hand by his side which was initially a clenched fist immediately loosens. He turns the backside of his right hand to the direction of the floor and opens his hand revealing his palm. Small particles start to dazzle and flicker on his palm. If one looks closely, these particles didn’t appear out of nowhere. They are actually vibrating so intensely that their appearance which should be not visible to the naked human eye becomes visible due to the amount of kinetic energy they have gathered.

From his experimentation with Shira Takeover, he was able to realize with Shira and the Shira Takeover guidance the proper utilization of Spiritual Awareness and Vibration. A lot more can still be uncovered, however, a huge improvement from before.

The energy in his right palm vibrates intensely and a small humming sound can be heard. Throwing this thing is too hard at this time as it may disappear before it hits the target. The first goon immediately arrives and Feng Ye dodges their fist. He counters with a palm strike to the goon’s right shoulder and a loud bang can be heard upon impact.

Wu Ya and the other swimmers several metres behind Feng Ye is shocked by the sound as they evacuate and turn their heads to see Feng Ye in a dogfight with the goon. They continue to evacuate, however, those at the very back of the crowd near Feng Ye all with some hope in their hearts root for him.

Mito notices the scene hear and cannot help but yelling, “Be careful of the other two!”

As her voice falls, the other two goons rush to each side of Feng Ye and brandish their fists crazily. One on the left side of Feng Ye dives towards him while the one on the right raises both fists in the air and begins to pound Feng Ye to the ground.

“F*ck!” Feng Ye curses in his mind as he can feel the pressure of these three. Without hesitation he tackles the goon at the front who he had initially hit with his highly concentrated “resonate sphere”. Yes, that’s what he called it. Resonate Sphere……

Facts proved that his decision was right, the goon on the right side pounds the ground where Feng Ye was just at. That goon then was hit by the other goon who had dived for him on his former left side. Feng Ye’s crisis was just beginning, however, as the goon he had tackled is abnormally strong with a rather abnormal modified physique.

This physique probably was out of the classification of human… The two goons behind him have been temporarily delayed by their failed attack giving Feng Ye enough time to pound the face of the goon he had just tackled. Using his Spiritual Awareness to be highly informed and aware of the other two goon’s movement, he immediately gets up from the tackled position and kicks the goon that was just tackled in the face as though it were a soccer ball.

Following this kick, he tried to invade the mind of the goon to no success. They were empty of consciousness. Each body was essentially soulless and home to a dark formless energy which Feng Ye was helpless to.

He immediately shifts backwards two metres from the goon he just had tackled as that goon starts to stand up. The other two goons which were in some temporary chaotic state immediately recover and stand facing Feng Ye.

“This will be difficult… 1v3..” The three goons immediately rush to Feng Ye and throw their fists. A tangled warfare followed. Using Spiritual Awareness, Feng Ye was able to counter and block attacks. Unfortunately, he was being suppressed by the overall tankiness of the goons.

The swimmers from behind watch nervously as Feng Ye and the three goons continue to clash in an all out brawl. Wu Ya bites her lips.

Feng Ye’s arms became sore quite quickly. These three goons pack a punch due to their enhanced strength. Due to the limited space and close combat nature of this clash, Feng Ye had limited options and a limited area to avoid the strikes completely, resulting in the necessity to block with his arms.

Halo of Recovery, his passive, shows its use spectacularly as he can feel his energy and stamina being restored little by little. He immediately pounds two goons when an opening had presented itself with a fist to their faces. As soon as the fists landed, he opened each fist so that his palms were on the two goon’s forehead.

He mutters, “Eat my REPULSE!” Yes, Feng Ye also named this attack move. Repulse.

“BANG!””BANG!” The two goons who Feng Ye had placed his palm on get blown several metres back. Using principles of electric charges that he had learned from studying physics for the MCAT in his old world, Feng Ye was able to manipulate the magnetic field with his vibration ability.

As the electric charge of atoms vibrate, the magnetic field also changes. By manipulating this charge and producing electromagnetic waves, he was able to produce a repulsing behavior causing the immediate repulsion of the two goons.

Panting, Feng Ye focuses on the third goon who is behind him. With a thought, numerous particles on the surface of his right foot begin to vibrate intensely producing a frequency of sound waves. Another audible hum can be heard from his foot. He leaps up and does a jumping roundhouse kick with his right foot directly onto the chest of the third goon. From the intense vibration and release of sound waves the moment he had made contact with the goon’s chest, a sonic boom follows. Yes, in that split moment of contact, Feng Ye was able to cause the vibration of the particles to surpass the speed of sound.

The goon gets blown by Feng Ye’s kick into the pool. A large splash sound can be heard as they land into the water on their backside.

Mito smiles as she shouts, “Good!”

“Useless!” The Spectre roars.

A few seconds later, he starts laughing loudly. “Useless trash those three but no matter. Giving up control on those three will show you truly what it means to be desperate!”

The two goons who were initially getting up after being blown by Feng Ye, suddenly, drop down simultaneously as though life had immediately escaped them. The goon in the water who was swimming towards Feng Ye also stop and starts floating lifelessly.

The formless dark energy which Feng Ye had seen when trying to attack with his Spiritual Awareness immediately exit through the eyes, the mouth, and the nose of each goon. The formless dark energy all is attracted to the spectre in the triangular prism barrier.

“Hahaha. The terror and despair these three pieces have accumulated is pretty good!” As the spectre continues to laugh, the dark energy continues to seep into his body. His appearance and his injuries immediately heal at an astonishing rate. One can see the wounds that were opening recover and restore.

“This is strength!!! I have never felt so alive!” He pounds the barrier and huge cracks appear. Mito’s face becomes pale as soon as the spectre had pounded the wall. The shape in which her fingers were held at slowly were pushed back to a 『 』shape.

Mito shouts, “Run quicker! Go! Evacuate, I cannot hold him any longer.”

She also shouts into the Apple-like watch, I will need backup immediately, it seems as though the enemy has evolved!”

Her fingers now start to shiver as the 『 』shape slowly becomes wider and wider. To from 『 』 to『 』. With an angry shout, the spectre pounds with both hands on the wall with numerous cracks and the barrier shatters into numerous pieces!

Mito suffers backlash and immediately coughs out some blood. She also shifts several metres away from the spectre.

Exhausted, she wipes the blood from her mouth and walks up to Feng Ye. “Evacuate, I’ll hold him off.”

Feng Ye shakes his head. “You won’t be able to. But we can have a larger chance if we both try together..we are now two grasshoppers tied on the same string.”

“Alright.” Mito’s stern expression had loosened a little as she agreed.

Feng Ye inquiries Shira, “Please help T_T….“

“Feng Ye, nice try. I’ll take it from here….” Shira replies. The look in her eyes become serious as her words fall.
