Book 2 Chapter 23: The Awakening

Lintian was still in heart ripping pain and had no time to even care about the four dragons that appeared before him.

“Lintian you need to use the qi dan and absorb the soul of these four dragons,” Rashu instructed.

“Arggggh!” Lintian continues to scream in agony as his soul was being ripped apart by the black qi dan.

“Kill him,” the fire Dragon roars.

“Lintian watch out!” Rashu screams in Lintian’s mind. There was nothing Rashu can do since this process cannot have outside energy interference.

The four dragons sent out a mental attack.

Lintian heard Rashu’s scream but it was too late. Lintian felt his soul vibrate and shake. His mind was in a daze and a bit numb. The agonizing pain from earlier actually dulled. Cracks could be seen covering the skin of his soul like glass that was about to shatter.

The four dragons stare at Lintian in surprise. He didn't die from all four of them using a soul attack? Even if they were a thousand times weaker than what they use to be it should still be able to kill this kid.

Lintian’s eyes was filled with rage at this moment. The black sphere continues to rip Lintian’s soul but it wasn’t as painful as before. Lintian’s soul was also surprisingly recovering from the impact of the Dragons’ soul attack.

Black and white lines could seen covering the cracks like glue covering up cracks.

“Use the black sphere to absorb those dragons’ soul. They are not as strong as they use to be. From my estimates their strength his 1 out of 10,000 of their normal strength right now. It is still significantly stronger than your’s but if you do things right you will be able to overcome it,” instructed Rashu again.

“Dead dragons should just be obedience and die peacefully,” Lintian said out loud. He didn't know why he said it either. Black flames were slowly seeping out from Lintian’s spiritual body. Furthermore a red line began to twirl around Lintian’s body and soul. The Asura cells were also activating.

Even through Lintian only possess a quarter of the Dragon’s bloodline he still possess a Dragon’s bloodline. This was the reason why the soul attacks from those dragons did not kill Lintian right off the bat.

“ROAR!” a mighty ancient sound arouse behind Lintian.

The four dragons heard this roar and was momentarily stunned.

A mirage of a dragon appears behind Lintian. It was a white and black dragon. Half the body was white while the other half was black.

Those four dragons saw this image and shivered. This was because they knew who this dragon was. This dragon has lived for a billion years and was the second strongest Dragon in existence. His strength was very close to the True Dragon and was only a hair thick weaker. Nobody knows how far beyond the Emperor’s realm that this Dragon has ascend too. For a mirage of his appearance to appear in this child could only mean one thing. This child is a descendent of one of the most powerful dragon in existence.

“You should be honored that a descendent of mine would even bother trying to absorb such weak and pitiful souls of your’s,” Lintian said out loud but for some reason Lintian didn't feel like those were his words. “Be obedient and let him absorb your souls or I will shatter them for him.” The soul attack from the four dragons has shocked Lintian’s soul to awaken the quarter dragon bloodline in his soul to burst forth.

The four dragons actually felt a little honored from the words of their God. Even through it was arrogant the God of Dragons still had the authority and power to kill them with but a single thought. Furthermore just looking at his mirage already put their souls in a daze.

“We are honored,” the four dragon cried out.

The black qi dan activated and began to absorb these dragons’ soul like someone drinking water. The dragons didn’t resist at all. They decided it was time to die in peace. Being absorbed by a descendant of the Yinyang God Dragon was an honor. The elements that they had the most affinity with began to gather and enter into Lintian’s qi dan too.

Rashu watched as all this happened. Even he felt his soul tremble when he saw the black and white dragon mirage behind Lintian.

How many secrets does this boy have? Rashu wonders. Once this process is complete the grade 11 qi dan should be formed. Wait? I feel like there is something I forgot.

“Lintian begin the process of absorbing the elemental qi of the dragons and your own.”

Lintian heard this and began to activate the elemental qi in his body to fly toward the black qi dan. Furthermore the four dragon’s elemental qi was flying into the qi dan on its own.

The conscious energy was also almost finish forming a new sphere when Lintian’s Asura cells began to emanate a dense black qi toward the center of the Dantian. This dark qi shot itself directly into the qi dan and condensed it into an even denser and powerful qi dan. This new qi dan began to absorb the surrounding qi, lightning qi and fire qi into it like a savage beast who hasn't eaten for a thousand years. Then it began to spit it back out and reabsorb it again.

“ARRGH!” Lintian screams out in reality. Thousands of charcoal color blood stain lines spread across his actual body starting from abdomen region. His body felt like it was on fire. Then he felt like 5000 volts of electricity were surging through him. Lintian grabs his own chest tightly hoping to endure the pain. The pain sensation kept switching around that it made it impossible for Lintian to endure. One moment it was an extreme burning sensation. Then it was an extremely cold sensation that it burned too. Afterwards he felt like his body was being poked with thousands of needles. Then he felt like he was being grind to dusk and reconstructed. Lintian was in immense agony.

“F*ck! The Master realm is also the awaking of the Asura cells,” Rashu raged. He was to focus on the benefits and forgot about the awakening. It should be fine but he will be in an indescribable amount of pain.

“AAHHH! ARGH!” Lintian screams louder and thrust his hand out. Fire and lightning bolts shot out his body destroying everything in sight but the pain just won’t go away. The cave was full of holes now. His light tan skin was also slowly changing colors. It was a slow transformation starting from the fingers and slowly spreading. The area of the skin that turn black was so dark that it seems to absorb all light.

His head was in splitting headache too just like the feeling where his soul was being split apart. His bones felt like it was being grind by mill stones. Muscles were being torn apart. His body felt like it was going to explode into a billion pieces. No matter how hard he screams no relief ever came to him.

The world essence began to gather in this particular location and was entering into Lintian’s Dantian like a great flood.

Lintian’s entire body trembled tremendously from this intense pain. Sweat were shooting out of Lintian like sparks. Every minute the pain got more intense. Until it reaches a point where no words could describe the pain and agony Lintian was in. Lintian’s body kept spasming around on the rock hard floor.

The black qi dan was absorbing the world’s essence like a sponge with no limits.

An hour went by and Lintian’s body was covered in a black qi. His eyes were bright red. Their were fire and lightning symbols swirling around his body. Slowly this pain seeping away little by little. The body was broken down and was now being healed and reinforced.

“AAAHHH” Lintian roared. A dense amount of qi exploded outward destroying everything in the room. The walls were incinerated to dusk. The floor was a giant hole.

This cave was no more. Where Lintian floated was a giant crater. That stretches for a thousand meters. It was also 300 meters deep.

Lintian looks around in a daze expression. His floating body slowly lands onto the floor. His dead like gaze sweeps the around. The black qi that covers his body began to crack. Piece by piece it fell off until Lintian fell to the floor unconscious.

“Hehehehe,” a strange voice echoes through the night.
