Book 2 Chapter 8-Soul Weapons
“The main part of the plan isn't just for you to steal it but to also not let the Valiant family know it is stolen. The reason he hasn’t leaked it yet is because if he was to release this news then my family would immediately storm in and take it back. The reason he stole it from under my care is because he knows that I will not leak that it was stolen. If I am caught stealing it back then he will immediately leak the news to get vengeance on me. But, if he thinks it is not stolen and a couple days pass then naturally he will not chase until he finds out, which is never due to the security system on this container cube.”
“I see,” Lintian nodded his head. The risk of being found out is significantly higher is he just simply stole it and something goes wrong in the progress but, if they believe that Katrina stormed in like an idiot to take it back it would be a different story.
Huh? Lintian just thought of something.
“Why don’t they just store that box in an interspacial ring? Or just the pill in it?” Lintian asks.
“Interspacial rings can only take inanimate objects into the ring. For example you cannot put a soul item into the interspacial ring.”
“What about a soul sword?” Lintian asks. Lintian was thinking back to his void sword. It is bound to be a soul sword.
“You shouldn’t be able too,” Katrina said matter oh factly.
“Is there a way to store a soul weapon in a interspacial ring?” Lintian asks seriously.
“I don’t believe so,” Katrina replies. “Why are you asking anyway?”
“Because on my journey I saw someone store a soul weapon into an interspacial ring,” Lintian lies.
“Maybe it is a fake?”
“Not possible my teacher said it is a real soul weapon,” Lintian continues to lie. The reason is because the void sword fits all the descriptions of a soul weapon. Soul weapons like the name suggests possess a soul. It normally picks its’ user unless the user is able to force them to submit. Weapons are ranked the same as the cultivation realms. It ranges from the martial tier to the Titan tier. Soul weapons are different. Even the lowest of soul weapon have a destructive power equivalent to a King tier weapon. Generally speaking Soul weapons are extremely rare and the method to forge them were lost during the dark ages 400,000 thousand years ago. Even with the current technological advances not one Weapons Smith have been able to forge one. Even a clan as big as the Menphis only possess two soul weapons in the Titan tier. As for Emperor tier no one has seen one yet. Even an Ancestor tier soul weapon would cause a clan or individual to do unthinkable things.

“Wait there is a way for a soul weapon to be stored in a interspacial ring. I remember my father telling me that soul weapons can be stored if it is broken. They would store it in a interspacial ring to preserve the shattered soul inside the weapon until all the material can be gathered to restore it. Storing a healthy soul inside a interspacial ring would instantly kill it. Thats why when people try to store it in the ring the weapon itself will reject it. Thats also why we are not able to store people inside the spacial rings.”
“That makes sense,” Lintian said.
“Honestly finding a high rank soul weapon is more a curse than anything. Without suffice power it does more harm than good.”
“If this is all I’m gonna go back,” Lintian said getting up from his seat.
“Meet us at Chelsea’s party in three days time.”
“Ok,” Lintian said, “Diana, Sam, Joe I’ll see you guys next time.”
“Later Lintian,” Joe said.
“See ya,” Sam said.
“Make sure to get a present for Chelsea,” Diana said without raising her head from the screen.
“Don’t worry I already have something in mind.”
Lintian left Diana’s house and road on Kyuri back to his room at the school. Back in his room he sat on the floor. He has a plain bed that is white, and a desk with a computer too. Lintian brought out those shadow knives from his interspacial ring.
Alright, lets bind these knives Lintian thought to himself excitedly.
Lintian took each of the 150 pound glass like knives out of the box and lays it around him. Blue, red, and yellow strands of qi began to leak out of his pores. Strand by strand like a tiny whirl pool the qi was being sucked into the knives. Little by little the knives began to change colors. It ranged from blue to red to yellow. Lintian didn't feel an ounce of resistance. This is because the knives were like new born babies with no imprint of its past wielders.

After 30 minutes Lintian finally finish imprinting his qi into it. Lintian saw that there was a ball of blue, yellow, and qi in the knife. With one hand Lintian flick his fingers up. All eight knives trembles and ascends into the air.
With a smile on his face Lintian twirls his fingers in the air as the knives follow suit. Each knife revolves around Lintian like earth revolving around the sun. Lintian then flicks his finger forward. The knives stop horizontally and then explodes forward. Lintian back felt a tingle and he immediately ducks down.
That was close Lintian thought to himself. Huh? Where did the knives go? Lintian looks up and notices there were 8 perfectly horizontal line of holes across the wall.
“Lintian!” a voice screams from beyond that hole.
“Yes?” Lintian squeaks out weakly already feeling guilty. Then he heard the door open in the other room.
“Haha babe lets do it again tomorrow…” another voice said and then stops. “HAHAHAHA! What the bloody hell happened to your hair!”
“LINTIAN I TOLD YOU FOR THE HUNDREDTH TIME STOP PRACTICING YOUR WEIRD ASS KUNG FU IN YOUR ROOM!”
“Hey Philip hows the breeze up there?” the other voice giggles.
“John shut up!” Philip shouts angrily and there was slight pause. “My God what you do to my hair!”
“Philip relax,” Lintian said through the hole innocently, “I’ll go to the alchemist store tomorrow and buy you a hair restoring potion tomorrow. So um can I get my knives back?”
Lintian got up and knocks on the room next door. John opens the door his face still dying from laughter.
When Lintian saw Philips head he couldn't control his laughter either. It was so shiny. It was like someone took a buzzer and trims a perfect line across. There was a tiny bald spot with a perfectly flat line of hair. It was like have twin pony tails with the middle trimmed.
Lintian opens his hand and the knives wiggles itself out of the wall and flew into Lintian’s interspacial ring. Lintian was quite surprise by the strength of these knives because these walls were able to block a couple blows from a fifth stage martial realm cultivator. Add with the fact that Lintian only flickered his finger with no intention of destroying anything. Imagine if he actually had the intention too kill. Never mind one wall and a shiny bald head there would be holes across this whole entire floor.
“So I’m gonna go to the battle hall and get a private room. So Philip you do you okay? Your hair looks great by the way, like a dashing prince,” Lintian commented and left the room in a sprint. This was honestly the first time it has happened.
"I'm gonna get you for this!" Philip roars.

Ætla Verǫld
AV Online was just a flash in the pan—a harsh, experimental land which lost most of its players in mere weeks. Only the dedicated few remained, carving out their destinies in corners of the vast abandoned world. Lily Quinn wasn't one of them. With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published!
