Lintian walks into McKings five minutes early and spotted Diana there already.

Diana also spots him and starts to wave to him.

Lintian jogs overs.

“Hey whats up?” Lintian asks as he notices three other kids with her. He recognizes one of them. His name was Sam an average looking dude wearing glasses. Those glasses are special. It is used for part of his clan’s technique. Normally they have contact lens for it but he could not get contacts in his eyes and tried for a month with no success. He was wearing a casual t-shirt and jeans. He is actually in the second of the Master Realm but still loses to Lintian because his battle comprehension was too weak.

“Oh Lintian you’re here,” Diana replies.

“Yeah, what was so urgent?” Lintian asks. Then he felt that someone tried to probe his cultivation strength.

“Oh yeah. Let me introduce you. This is Joe,” she said pointing to a pretty tone muscled and slim guy wearing hoodies and sweatpants. Just from looks people can never tell that he came from a first rate school. Lintian probed him with his qi and found that he was in the first of the Master realm. “This over here is Kristine.” She points to a girl sitting next to Joe. She had short black hair and was very intelligent looking. Furthermore she wore a dark blue suit. Lintian also probed her and found that she was hiding her cultivation preventing him from finding out.

“Hey nice to meet you guys,” Lintian said as his hand reach out to shake their’s.

“Nice to meet you too,” Joe said taking Lintian’s hand and shakes it.

Lintian shook hands with Katrina too before sitting down.

“So whats up?” Lintian asks again.

“This here is Katrina Lotus from an Alchemist family. She has something very important stolen from her and she needs it back.”

“So what can I do to help?” Lintian asks in suspicion. It is because he was only in the martial realm. What can he possible do to help that she couldn’t get her servants to do? Especially since she came from the Lotus family. They are one of the strongest alchemist family in this state. They are ranked number two. They have two Ancestor realm backs with 183 Heaven’s realm expert. Furthermore they have about 700 King’s realm expert with over four thousand Master realm experts and a total of twenty-thousand martial realm and below practitioners. This is just the family alone without including hire experts and so on. Lintian had to learn about this in the one year he was taking alchemy class.

“She wants to hire you to help her steal it back,” Diana explains.

Lintian thought it was a bit suspicious.

“Why can’t she just ask her clan members to help her?” Lintian said and intentionally glances at her two guards.

“This has to do with the item I need you to steal back,” Katrina saids.

“I’m sorry but I don’t understand?” Lintian said dumbfounded. It makes absolutely no sense at all.

Katrina glances at Joe. A metallic orb then appears out of Joe’s interspacial ring. It began to glow green.

“Ok, now I can talk freely,” Katrina said with a breath of relief.

“Ok…”

“It has to do with something my clan created a couple weeks ago. I gave Diana some requirement for the person I need and you just happen to fit the profile. A lot weaker than I expected but it will work.”

“Ok, but you’re not answering my question. I am sure you can find people that fits the same requirement as me and will fall heads over heels to work for you.”

“That is true but this matter requires the utmost secrecy.”

“So what is it that you want me to steal?” Lintian asks. If its easy he might do it for if it hard he is out.

“Are you doing it or not?” Katrina asks.

“If you don’t tell what I am doing that I am not,” Lintian said.

“So as long as I tell you, you will do it?” Katrina said amusingly.

“No, I’ll decide after you tell me.”

“I can’t tell you unless I know you are on board.”

“Fine then I will leave,” Lintian shrugs and turns around to leave.

“Don’t you want to hear what I am offering first?” Katrina grins.

“Not really but I’ll listen.”

Katrina couldn't help but roll her eyes back. “As long as I get back my item then I will gift you with a set of shadow knives. It is worth about 3.8 million qi stones at an auction. As long as you reach master realm you can wield it and the strength of the knives will even be able to inflict wounds to a heaven realm cultivator.”

Lintian’s eyes lit up. It honestly wasn’t a bad offer. Originally Lintian was gonna asks them to find his parents but he already has the principle on that. Thinking about it Lintian decided not too. “Not bad, but if the danger level exceed the value of the shadow knives then I will be granted additional rewards.” Lintian counter offered.

“Thats fine by me,” Katrina said. “You won’t be working alone anyway. Have you heard of the Valiant family?”

“No,” Lintian replied honestly.

“Well, they are a high level alchemist family over in the western region of the United States. The problem is they are beginning to expand their power in this region. They sent multiple branch family over here to begin consolidating power on the easter coast. It just so happened they stole a very important box from me.”

“So you want to me to help you to steal it back?” Lintian asks getting the gist of it.

“Yes, I want you to help me steal it back. No one can know I lost the box. The good news is they cannot open the box through brute force. It is encrypted by a rank 7 spell master and it is encrypted on the technology side too. Unless they have the password then the inside the box will be incinerated if it is forcefully opened.”

“So why don’t they just kidnap you to force you to open the box?” Lintian asks.

“They can’t because I am one of the five candidates that are the successors to the family. If it is found out that I lost this box then I will be banished from my family.”

“I see,” Lintian murmurs. “Are these people the team you assembled?”

“Yes,” Katrina said. “Diana is the power house of the team. Joe is a hacker. Sam is spell master specialist. You are going to be the thief. I honestly don’t think anyone can replace you. Rank 3 spell master. Come from a family of assassins so you definitely know some presence hiding techniques, with the strength of a stage 10 martial realm cultivator.”

Lintian didn’t paid to much attention to the flattering since he knows he is still too weak. “I’m assuming you will be controlling the whole operation?”

“Yes, I already made the plans to infiltrate the base steal it and be out in less than 30 minutes.”

“What day will it be on?” Lintian asks.

“In three days times,” Katrina said.

“Oh,” Lintian said remembering that Chelsie’s birthday is on that day too. “Why that day?”

“A girl name Chelsie Goddard is having her birthday and it is apparently a big deal so even the Valient family is invited. The security will be the strongest and the weakest at that time.”

“Hey so I was invited to that party too so will I make it back?”

“Lintian you’ll be fine,” Diana intercepted.

“Fine then but don't you think this location is kinda to public to plan a heist?”

“Alright, lets go to Diana’s house to plan the heist,” Katrina said as she gave a quick glance at the two people following her.
