Kyuri changes into his full size dragon form. In the six and a half years he has grown to become extremely elegant, and beautiful with a vicious aura that prevents others from approaching and to only admire his beauty. He was becoming more, and more like his father with traces of his mother. He has now grown to the size similar to an elephant. From head to tail he is 16 feet long. If he sprouts out his wings it would be 18 feet long from tip to tip. With all his legs and hands on the ground he is 4 feet tall or five and a half feet from ground to head if his head extends all the way up.

Lintian who was now five feet and six inches tall hops on top of Kyuri.

“Alright, lets go,” Lintian said.

Kyuri spreads out his beautiful wings and launches himself into the air. Flying at a constant speed they were at Chelsey’s house in 4 minutes. They landed in front of Chelsey’s gate. Kyuri reverts back to his puppy size form.

The door opens and Lintian walks in.

Chelsey was sitting on the porch grinning at Lintian.

“Your hungry?”

“How you know?” Lintian asks in fright joking around.

“What did you promise to feed Kyuri today?” Chelsey asks teasingly.

“Nothing much,” Lintian replies like it was no big deal. “Just some raging cow beef please.”

“Oh, I’m about to eat lunch in a bit you wanna join us?”

“Is your parents home?” Lintian asks.

“No, they are out on business,” Chelsey replies.

“Oh then I will help myself then,” Lintian said and grabs Chelsey’s hand pulling her into her own kitchen. Lintian has been over Chelsey’s so many times within the past year that if one didn't know better they would have assume that Lintian lived there. Lintian thought that Chelsey’s parents weren't bad people but they are the head of their clan so they have many responsibilities to deal with. Chelsey as it turns out also had two older brothers that go to a first rate school in the state. Chelsey didn’t have enough talent and ended up at a second rate school. Since she was a girl it wasn’t a big deal.

Making himself at home Lintian seated himself at the table.

“Young master Lintian is there anything else you would like?” one of the butler who was use to this asks.

“Yes, can you get me some raging cow beef?” Lintian asks.

“How would you like it cooked?”

“Rare thank you,” Lintian said politely. “Oh um three pounds of it.”

Lintian turns his head back and saw Chelsey pout. “Whats wrong Chels?”

“You never take me out anymore?” she said.

“Where do you wanna go?” Lintian asks eating all the delicates on the table.

“Mhmm, how about those underground fight clubs? Oh how about an auction like the one we went to last time? Maybe we can go watch the colosseum battles?” Chelsey said throwing out some suggestions.

“I guess so but I don't think your parents would approve of underground fight clubs.”

“Are you coming to my birthday party in three days?”

“Yeah, just thinking about all the food there is already making me hungry.”

“Pfft. You pig,” Chelsey jokes.

“Hey well I guess I can’t argue with that,” Lintian muses.

“So what you get me for a present?”

Lintian froze for a milli of a second before acting al natural again, “you’ll find out in three days.”

“Hey there is something I have to tell you about my birthday party,” Chelsey said in a serious tone.

“Sure go ahead.”

Ring ring ring. Lintian saw that it was Diana calling. Lintian looks at Chelsey and she gave the ok to answer.

“Diana whats up?” Lintian responded.

“Hey Lintian can you meet me in downtown Boston in two hours?” Diana said in an urgent voice.

“Why?” Lintian asks.

“Just come meet me there. I have something important to ask you.”

“You can just say it over the phone,” Lintian said as he chew down on a lobster.

“Just come ok?” Diana said fuming a little.

“Ok… Sure then.”

“Ok see you then,” Diana said and hangs up.

“Oh what were you saying before?” Lintian asks Chelsey.

“Never mind then. Also what did Diana want?”

“She wants to discuss something with me. You wanna come?”

“No, I’m good.”

“Ok, then,” Lintian said as he finish eating up.

“I’ll see you tomorrow in school then,” Lintian said as he left Chelsey’s residence an hour later.

“See you tomorrow,” Chelsey waves.

Kyuri returns to normal size and Lintian hops on.

“Boss remember the beef,” Kyuri reminded.

“Okay, okay,” Lintian laughs heartily.

Kyuri launches himself into the air and flew. Ten to fifteen minutes later they were in Boston. The city has a rule that does not allow any demonic beast over three feet high to enter into the city. So Kyuri shrinks himself down to puppy size and sat on top of Lintian’s shoulder.

Lintian checked his watch and there were still 40 minutes to spare. In the city people were not allowed to fight unless it is at the arena. The mayor of this city is an Ancestor level being. Most of the soldiers under his command are Master Realm experts with their leader being in the King’s realm. Therefore nobody were truly dares brave enough to start a squabble in the middle of the streets. Lintian also heard before that there were at least five heaven realm experts in the city at all times.

Lintian begins to walk around at ease and taking in many of the surrounding sites. He pretty much knows this city like the back of his hand. I guess I’ll go shopping for Kyuri’s steak first, thought Lintian as he walks toward the premium meat market. This market sells the highest grade meat, such as meat from the Velocite Dragon a tier 5 demonic beast, and tier three raging cow. Raging cows are usually tier two but with modern technology, and herding techniques most the raging cows are tier three now. Making their meat absolutely delicious and just melts in your mouth. Somewhat like Kobe beef. The prices for the Raging Cow beef is 420 qi stones a pound. This meat is also good for cultivation, muscle growth and refinement. Normal cow meat generally ranges from 20 to 50 qi stones a pound.

Lintian went on his watch to check his bank account to see how much money he still has left. 4372 qi stones. It is still near the beginning of the month so if I buy two pounds it should be good and I can get 10 pounds of regular beef. I’m really going to have no money after this Lintian sighs to himself.

As Lintian walks into the store he noticed an extremely beautiful tan asian girl with black hair about his age walking through the aisle checking out a different varieties of meat. She looked to be maybe fifteen years old and had a strong cultivation base to her. Lintian was about to probe her but decided against it. Lintian didn’t think much of it until he saw something that caught his attention. She wore a slave leash around her neck. He unconsciously gritted his teeth and flash back to two years ago.

The girl notices Lintian staring at her neck and quickly flips up her collar but Lintian could still somewhat see it. Lintian walks over to her and brought out a scarf in his interspacial ring.

“Here this might be better than that collar,” Lintian said indifferently as he handed her the scarf. Lintian knows that right now there is nothing he can do. There are many factors involve that he cannot just willy nilly free her.

Lintian could see traces of pride, embarrassment, loneliness, and other complicated emotions on her face. There was one emotion on her face that held Lintian back from freeing her and that is fear. When Lintian handed her the scarf she unconsciously shown fear and gratitude. She moved back slightly and her face tighten up. Two years ago Lintian used his void sword to cut apart the slave leash and freed a slave out of naive feelings that eventually led to that slave’s death. It was not something easy to get over but what was left of it was a deep hatred of slavery in his soul and deep guilt. His own clan had slaves but they never wear those collars before so Lintian just thought of them as maids but this was different. Furthermore Lintian was being educated by Harris about the world and how it is a crude place. Only personal power means anything.

Seeing how uncomfortable he was making her, Lintian left her alone and went back to his own shopping.

“Hey boss you ok?” Kyuri asked mentally on his shoulder. Kyuri felt a surge of emotions from Lintian such as regret, disgust, sadness, and hate.

“Yeah, I’m fine. They have a lot of meat here what kind would you like?” Lintian sent back mentally.

“Hows your budget this month?” Kyuri asks slyly.

“About 4k.”

“Then I want the raging cow beef at least four pound. Since I am feeling nice today I won’t ask for the tier four and just take the tier three. Also I want ten pounds of tier two beast meat.”

Lintian wanted to bang his hand against the wall thinking of Kyuri’s mathematical skills. Being nice my *ss Lintian thought. That is about half of this month’s allowance. At this rate they’ll be living in a cardboard box. Good news was his rent at the school is free. As long as he can place the school in the top ten of the competition.

“Two pounds of tier three raging cow steak, 5 pounds of tier two beast. We still need to worry about money for the rest of the month. I don't want to have to ask others for money,” Lintian negotiated.

“Fine,” Kyuri replied.

“Mister Pacheco can I get two pounds of tier three raging cow steak, 5 pounds of tier two beast,” Lintian yelled over the counter at a tall robust man.

“Hahaha Lintian your back again. Hows your budget this month?”

“Not to shabby,” replied Lintian as they chatted for a while, as Mister Pacheco prepared his order. Being a nice man he also threw in a couple extra pounds of regular steak. Lintian was very thankful for that and said his thanks and left the store. Afterwards he store the meat into his inter spacial ring and head toward McKing the usual meeting place.
