《Asura》Chapter 66-Dilemma

Lintian was not the least bit frightened. Lintian raises his hand to stop Xintong from shouting out her name to them. If they want to fight Lintian will give them one they will never forget. Except right now is not the time.
“Leave your demonic beast cores here and you can go on,” one of the boys said.
“How about you drop your demonic cores and scram?” Lintian replied. His killing intent spreading out towards the three. Lintian hoped that this would be enough to scare them.
“We’re done playing nice guys. How about we teach you a lesson on manners?” A slightly taller boy stated slightly pissed off. Lintian didn’t want to kill them as this would cause problems and if he accidentally does it then the clan that is behind them will probable come for revenge. He has heard enough of these types of situation when he was in the Zhang family that he didn’t feel like getting caught up in these stupid types dramas that only yields self satisfaction.
Two of the cultivators’ qi spiked as they used instant movement to attack Lintian.
The body around Lintian began to glow a slight gold. Lightning qi were swimming around him like a dragon in water. Lintian then used the Emperor’s steps to move behind Xintong and lifts her up like a princess. Lintian blushes for a moment but disappears the next with Xintong in his arms. How can martial realm cultivators compare to Lintian in speed when he his body has been refined by lightning, and he has a slight understanding of the first stage of a God’s art? Furthermore he has almost master the Xiang stage of the Emperor’s step. Right now his speed who comparable to a stage three Master realm expert who has a rank 5 movement art.
To those three cultivator’s all they saw was a flash of lightning. The two cultivators that attacked arrived at the spot Lintian was at. All three stares at the spot dumbfounded. It was like someone pressed the pause button and then resume again.

Lintian kept running with Xintong in his arms. Kyuri wasn't as fast but he was still able to keep up.
After Lintian got a certain distant away and knows that they are safe Lintian finally came to a stop.
“Are you going to let me down now?” Xintong asks.
“Oh yeah, haha sorry,” Lintian said awkwardly as he lets Xintong down.
“We could have beaten them why did you run away?”
“I didn’t want to kill them by accident. I still don't have 100 percent control over my speed and if I accidentally kill them your clan will probable come for revenge.”
Xintong shrugs and said, “my clan isn’t as petty as you think. They know that stuff will happen so they don't necessarily go avenge whoever was killed. When they do this test they actually expects people to die. Sure they tell us not to kill each other but they don’t really care unless the it is a genius that dies like me.”
“Oh well there is no point in slaughtering senselessly anyway,” Lintian said. “Lets get to the meet point so I can go home. They will be so surprise at how strong I became in less then half a month.” Lintian was smiling and giggling to himself. He was thinking about Tsuna and Kira’s reaction because it took Kira at least 6 years to reach the martial realm and it took Lintian less than half a year.
Tsukino Residence 2 Days from Today
It has been about 8 days since Lintian has disappeared. Yukira and Mao have both ground Yuki for and indefinite amount of time until Lintian returns. Kira and Tsuna have also been ground for a month for not immediately telling them when they found out Lintian was gone.
Both Mao and Yukira were worry sick. They deployed every available means they have. They sent out half of the tracking force they have and have sent out their elite intel gathering corp to find Lintian.
Mao has postpone all his meetings and business deals or has had his assistance handle them. He has not told his wife that Lintian is not her son but someone else’s. Furthermore Mao was deeply afraid that someone might have found out that Lintian might be an Asura, but after hearing the report of the battle site and Yuki’s account of the Tail fox in the forest Mao was deeply concern that Lintian might have been either killed or hopefully captured.

After hearing his wife cry for 3 nights in a row Mao even went as far as contacting underworld means to find Lintian. Even then he did not find a single trace of him. After hearing and seeing his wife cry fro 7 nights Mao’s defenses were crumbling. Every night he tussles with the question to tell her the truth but fearing that if he does there is no going back. His wife willing not be able to take this blow. He knows that Yukira is a very kind woman and that she will forgive him but there will aways be a distrust between the two that will never go away. Furthermore she has come to accept Lintian as her real son and if she finds out he isn't. She will still accept Lintian as her real son. Even Mao himself has accepted Lintian as one of his sons. But the problem is if Lintian dies and then she finds out her real son died too then the most likely scenario will be a very traumatic blow that will sent her into depression. Especially after Mao saw how affectionate she was with Lintian. Even more so than Tsuna, Kira, and Yuki. Combine with the fact that Lintian was basically a genius it was like being given a priceless treasure.
When Mao first accepted the deal from the Zhang family he had two thought in mind. One he will finally be able to repay his friend Ming back for all the things that Ming helped him with. Second is that he can at the very least fulfill his wife’s final wish and sent her to heaven peacefully. Never in his wildest imagination did he believe that his wife will recover. He was of course extremely happy like someone winning the lottery but another problem came up. To hide the truth from her forever or to come out with it. Mao knows that no truth can be buried forever especially when this truth is covered by a lie while being dangled in front of the person you are trying to hide it from.
The sun rose high up into the air shining brightly across the Tsukino family villa. Except there was a gloomy atmosphere sitting on this villa that nobody can see the sun for it’s bright and cheerful day.
Yukira and Mao both sat in their room dejected and lifeless. Waiting for any types of news of Lintian. It was 11am but it might as well be 11pm.
“Master Mao! Madam Yukira! Master Mao! Madam Yukira!” a servant came screaming and barges through the door. “Trouble!”
Both Mao and Yukira lifeless bodies woke up in surprise.
“Whats going on?” Mao asks.
“There are two people outside demanding to see the Master of this villa,” the servant explains. “I cannot tell how strong they are, and if I may be so rude.”
“Say it,” command Mao.
“They are far stronger than Master and Madam. One of them is even stronger than Madam Yukira’s grandfather the previous clan head.”
Mao and Yukira were both shock. Yukira’s grandfather was in the Ancestor realm. Right now he is in Japan but still. Why would two people in the Ancestor realm come visit them? In less then a second they derived that it must be related to Lintian. They were feeling elated for a second until it turned to dread.
“TSUKINO FAMILY HEAD COME OUT THIS INSTANT!” a loud voice pierce through the villa. It was Kallee’s.
(what would be a good title for this chapter? Unburiable truth if thats a word, Unbearable truth. The Gloom. Or anything that you can thank off :/)

Countless kinds of method to ascend were known but a sudden change in the world changed that. Pandemonium spread throughout the world and countless grand races and even grander sects and organizations fell. The huge surge had come to an end as each race went to one place or another to hide, higher beings ran to the higher realms to hide from the destruction of the lower realm. Countless deaths in all races happened and many are said to have been pushed to extinction. Today, the world has regressed to what can be called a mediocre shadow of what was once a massive power that ruled the world. The races have each slowly crawled out of their holes and slowly spread their numbers once more, rediscovering what was once lost. New sects were born, clans spread, nations rise and war once more appeared. Still the catastrophe had not only drastically changed the world but the energy of nature. Instead the grand energies seemed as if something had snuffed a huge amount of it, now the areas were each energy appeared each possessed different kinds of energy. One region could simply have Qi, another could have Qi where each area within a region had specific element to it, there was mana which permeated the air in other regions, Spiritual force in others, infernal energy in another and so each massive region slowly claimed their own resource and their growth slowly diverted only towards these energies. Only there was one type of being that could survive and grow in each and every kind. The most mysterious which were all called Riders.
