《Asura》Chapter 65-Intent

Lintian sat there resting for a couple hour. When the sun began to sat a teleportation array appeared right next to Lintian. A feminine figure began to emerge from it. Then a fox appeared behind her. It was Xintong who was still dressed in her black ninja outfit.
“Oh Lintian your safe!” she exclaims as she jumps over to hug him. When she saw Lintian spring in the dungeon she immediately chased after him. Only to come to the same room Lintian was at but there were three open tunnels to pick from. Red, Blue, and Yellow. She chose the blue hoping to find Lintian except she didn't realize that Akumy also followed her.
“Yeah,” Lintian answers, and thought that the hug felt quite nice. Not in a perverted way but just because this was the first human contact he has had in a while. It relaxes him. He decided to hug back. “Thank you.”
“Oh did you pass all the tests too?” Xintong asks suddenly.
“Yeah. I got a God’s Art and a stone what about you?” Lintian said without hiding anything.
“Yeah me too. I got the God’s art called the Divine Water Body. I also got this stone but I have no idea what it does,” she said and holds up a translucent blue stone.
“You passed through all 10 waves?” Lintian asks in surprise.
“No, I managed to get through seven but I had to give up on the eight. My weapons ran out of heavenly qi and I was exhausted. Furthermore I had to keep Akumy safe most of the time so half my attention was on her.”
There was a slight pause.
“Are you going to tell me what you got?” Xintong teases.
“Oh yeah! I got the stone the same as you but its a different color since I managed to pass through all 10 waves,” Lintian said proudly, “and I got the Divine Lightning body.”
“You passed through all 10?” Xintong gasps. She remembered how hard it was for her to kill those tier three beast. Luckily the whole arena was made out of water if not she would not have been able to pass through. She was able to control the water to deteriorate their movements and then kill them with the ice dragon she created. She assumes that Lintian must have used skill and power to overcome this challenge. If before it was admiration now it would be on the level of worship.

“Haha I got lucky since I had Kyuri’s help,” Lintian said modestly.
“Oh that makes sense,” Xintong said in disappointment. “Also Akumy and I made a bloodline equality pact when we were inside the dungeon.”
Lintian acted surprise, “really!? Thats great. I was wondering why she was so close too you. I hope you can take care of her will.”
“Don’t worry I will definitely protect her,” Xintong smiles.
“If its you I can relax. She is part of the Nine Tails clan,” Lintian explains, “so you might need to hide her. A lot of bad guys are after her. This was one of the reasons I was in this forest.”
“Nine Tails clan?” Xintong questions. She has never heard of it before.
“The Nine Tails clan is a very strong demonic beast from Japan. I don't know why they are here but they are. A lot of bad guys want to tame one too use for their evil purposes.” Lintian continues to explain.
Xintong got the gist of it, “I will protect her and hide her until we are strong enough to protect ourselves. Once we are strong enough I promise to eliminate any threat that might come to harm her.” Lintian saw the sincerity in her.
“If I remember correctly this should be the last day of your competition right?”
“Oh yeah it is. We should get going. Do you want too come too?” Xintong asks. She was hoping that he would come with her. She doesn’t know why but she felt very comfortable and familiar with him.
“I want too but I should get back to my family. They are probable worry sick,” Lintian replies.
“I understand, we should be careful through those older kids will probable try to rob us. In this competition only killing is not allowed. Everything else is fine.”
“I killed over 700 demonic beasts how hard can they be,” Lintian shrugs.
“Killing demonic beasts and fighting cultivators are two different situations. Demonic beasts are just raw power and has the physical advantage. Cultivators have experience, advance martial arts, and pretty much a brain to think,” said Xintong. Her parents drilled that into her.
“I think you said the strongest is only in the fifth of the martial realm right?”
“Yeah but that is only for my generation. Why?”

Lintian grins and said, “then we can relax. Follow me.” Lintian was confident. This didn't come out from all the demonic beast he killed but the experience he obtained. Just his qi alone he was equal to a practitioner of the fifth stage of the martial realm when he combines his two dantians. Furthermore his body was just refined by the lightning essence. Lastly his emperor’s step has reached a new stage of its own. “I’ll show them the strength I obtained in that dungeon.” Lintian smiles mysteriously to her.
Lintian puts on his ninja mask. Then Lintian hops down from the mountain but stayed behind the barrier. Xintong follows behind him.
Everyone’s attention was on them now.
“Who are you!” one of them screamed. He still remembers Lintian kicking his ass from before.
Lintian took one foot and steps through the barrier right in front of them.
“Where do you think you're going?” One of those older boys yell out haughty.
Lintian’s eyes shift towards him encompassed by his second stage martial realm qi which was comparable to a 5th stage practitioner. Furthermore Lintian’s qi contains a hint of demonic qi. This was the first time this boy felt such pressure from someone around his age. It was comparable to a Master realm cultivator. Even through his mind tells him that this boy is only in the martial realm his body screamed to him that this seemly short boy was more dangerous than all the cultivators here. His whole body was shaking uncontrollably. Yet he didn't even noticed it.
Seeing, that the kid was about to wet his pants Lintian withdrew his gaze and kept walking. Naturally the rest of the people here opened up a path for them. The boy that was petrified was in the fourth of the Martial realm. A whole stage above everyone here.
Some of the kids here began to discuss among themselves. Who is this kid that Xintong was following? How come Xintong who has the heavenly vein follow such a kid? I don’t think I ever seen such a kid in our clan. Those clothing is not the same as ours. Could he be a spy? No body should know we are here right? Should try to rob them? Are you an idiot? He doesn't look to be any older than our Xintong. How can our princess be following such a crude looking boy? The threading of his clothes look so poorly made. Release the hounds? What? Steven shut up.
To keep up this charade as Lintian walks he would occasionally give some of the other kids a side glance that would instantly force them to shake uncontrollably. One of them even fainted. Lintian learned to do this after feeling how the people in the Void sword do it. If all 40 of the kids here teamed up against him even he would have trouble. Not because killing all 40 would be difficult but rather controlling himself from killing all 40. Especially when he could feel how powerful this clan was. Therefore Lintian found that the best method was to scare them sh*tless. Once they made it out of their sight Lintian relaxed a bit.
“How you do that?” Xintong asks.
“Not that hard,” Lintian shrugs. “Just give them the coldest and meanest look you can muster and control your qi to pressure them.” Lintian of course did not know that part of the reason he was successful was because of how many demonic beasts he killed.
Xintong gave Lintian the meanest look she can muster and followed Lintian’s instructions.
Seeing Xintong with a constipated look on her face Lintian bursts into laughter.
“Haha Xintong stop,” laughs Lintian.
Xintong blushes and stops with the look. This was the first time she saw Lintian laughing. For some reason or another she felt satisfied looking at Lintian laugh.
“Lets go to your final destination,” Lintian said finally controlling himself. Xintong used her beast box to hide her.
Lintian began to walk.
“Lintian wrong way…”
“Oh. Lead the way.”
Lintian follows behind Xintong. After about 20 minutes Lintian receives a message from Kyuri. Three people following us. Lintian pretended to not notice as he saw a smoke sight coming up.
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh. Three figures appears before them. All three were in the fifth stage of the Martial realm. One was in the seventh stage. From their height and posture Lintian could tell that they were at least 14 to 15 years old.
(this was kinda of a filler chapter lol)
